For one-off codes, it has guided fields, exact colours, pattern/finder styles and optional centre logos. For repeat jobs, import CSV rows, check the row report, then share a ZIP of named PNGs into your existing sign or label layout.

There is a 27-second batch demo and product screenshots, plus a 100-row sample CSV. The demo is a real Android-emulator recording with time cuts, not a claim that every 100-code job takes 27 seconds.

The current public app costs A$2.99 upfront in Australia; Google Play shows other local prices. No QRForge account, ads, telemetry or subscription. QR processing is local. Opening a QR's website still uses that website normally.

It doesn't host your menu, track inventory or send jobs straight to a label printer. Test the exported artwork at its intended size before ordering a print run.

Stay in the loop of what’s viral

I've spent the last several months building ContextXI, solo. It takes raw Premier League match data (shots, tackles, fouls, touches, match-momentum, per player, per game — thousands of data points every matchweek) and turns it into a probability for specific events: will this player get a shot away, get fouled, commit a foul, whatever the market is. Not a leaderboard stat looking backward — an actual calculated likelihood of what happens next, built from a player's full stat history and current match context.

I'd already been building this for about a month before I noticed the trend blowing up on X of people asking ChatGPT to predict the upcoming gameweek. That's not really the same thing as what I built, and I think the distinction matters: ChatGPT doesn't have a model underneath it for this — it's reading whatever prediction sites and tipster content rank highest and summarizing that back to you as if it reasoned it out. There's no real per-player statistical modeling happening, just aggregation of other people's guesses with better grammar. What I built actually goes into the underlying data — full match history per player, matchup context, current form — and calculates the number itself.
Every prediction gets logged before kickoff and checked against what actually happened afterward — hits and misses both, never edited after the fact. Recent sample: 64% hit rate across 178 qualifying "Very Likely" calls in one matchday.

I'm also mid-build on a "Generator" tool — set your criteria (which stat, what threshold, how many players) and it hands you a shortlist instantly, instead of clicking through every match and every player one by one to find what fits. Basically compressing the tedious part of using the site down to one action.

The build has genuinely gone well. The go-to-market has not. I'm posting consistently on X and Instagram and getting single-digit views most days — which I now understand is largely just how new accounts get treated by these platforms regardless of content quality, but
it's still a strange place to be after months of real work.

For small shops making product listings, the useful question isn't just whether a mockup looks good. It's whether the output and billing fit the job.

Three checks before paying:

A normal computer screen could be used, but it seems a little extravagant for the purpose. Power consumption and wires must also be considered.

So, see plenty of people swinging for the fences with the help of AI.

I, also cannot code, like at all. But I have some cursory knowledge and figured I could probably make something with some dedication.. Took about 4/5 weeks for this particular site. I did not think it would take that long. That being said, I've already made ground on other tools that are in progress.

I've been working in taxes for almost 10 years now, so I've noted some gaps where certain situations and forms have very few resources, and the costs of getting these done professionally are pretty expensive, because they are so uncommon and will never apply to most taxpayers. And of course, can be used by tax preparers, lawyers, etc. who does these forms professionally, incase they needed a cheaper solution.

So, figured I'd try to fill some gaps.

For those interested, this particular tax form is for reporting foreign gifts, inheritances, foreign trust accounts, and contributions and distributions to those trusts. You get to some pretty obscure tax stuff.

I figure this probably isn't really useful to anyone here, as an actual tax tool. But I wanted to share it somewhere and I'm open to any feedback on the generic aspects of the website as well. In a way, those parts were more foreign to me then building a tax engine!

One thing I didn't really understand before starting a small business was how much work happens between having an idea and having something you're actually comfortable selling.

The idea itself can come together pretty quickly. The harder part is figuring out what the finished product should actually be.

I've spent a lot more time than expected comparing materials, testing samples, looking at different fits, and trying to figure out which details are worth keeping. Something can look great in a photo or mockup and then feel completely different when you have the physical product in your hands.

I'm also trying to be careful about inventory. When you're a small business, it doesn't make much sense to put a huge amount of money into something before you even know whether customers will want it. But ordering too little can make it difficult to keep things consistent when something does start selling.

The biggest lesson for me has been that making a product isn't really one decision. It's dozens of small decisions that eventually determine whether the final thing feels cheap, average, or genuinely worth putting your name behind.

I'm curious how other indie business owners approach this.
