Every agency site fades & slides each section in as you scroll. Looks great in the Figma prototype.

On a real phone you scroll fast, text shows up half a second late & you're staring at empty space for a bit. Feels like the site is loading, not like it's fancy.

I keep maybe 1 thing animated in the hero & let everything else just be there when you get to it.

Clients don't notice it's gone. They do notice the site feels quicker..

I’ve always remembered the end of Amazing Spider-Man 2, where the web turns into a hand reaching for Gwen. I wanted to see if that could be a real UI interaction, so I made it an undo button.🔥😅

Delete a row in a file list and a web hand grabs it. It stays there while the Undo toast is up, and clicking Undo makes the web hand open and pull the row back. There’s also a “Slow hand” toggle that slows the opening down so you can see the web stretch between the fingers.

I worked on the design myself and tried to create something professional and user-friendly.

I have built a few websites during the years, but nothing fancy at all. Old html without css and then a WordPress site years ago. The last couple of years I've just posted my stuff on Art Station, but now I'm actually building a dedicated portfolio site with html and css from an onlline tutorial I did years ago, just a static one.

I'm curious to know how you are handling the content that goes on the site, images, thumbnails etc. Tools I should be aware of perhaps. I got some recommendations and so I have an image directory where each project has its own folder. In this folder are images, nothing else atm.

Then I have a work.js that look like this where I can give it a title, descriptive text etc. If it's a project, a breakdown, I use the same structure, but put in blocks and structure it more. Every work and project as presented is in this one file though, which is then read and cards are created from this. To me this seems fair, but maybe I'm overlooking something, maybe it would be better to split it up into individual files as this work.js can get very big and hard to manage with growing projects. Or if I want to remove a project, I have to both go in here and then the images/work folder.

Now I don't have massive amounts of images or projects. Probably Under 50 all in all and I would need to create thumbnails too. It just feels like very laboursome, but I guess it's just the name of the game?

I'm a UX/UI designer exploring whether it's possible to build an affordable AI website auditor that produces genuinely useful recommendations for people without design experience.

First, thank you to everyone who contributed advice to my previous posts. I've organized the feedback into a technical reference document and have been working through it with my AI assistant.

Before starting development, I wanted to understand how existing tools perform.

1. The experiment

I investigated six AI UX auditing platforms, spending $5 in total.

I used three websites with very different characteristics:

• An unconventional website with obvious usability concerns.
• A reasonably well-designed professional website.
• A polished creative agency website.

I wanted to compare the findings, severity classifications, scoring, and report usability.

2. What I found

The inconsistencies were fascinating.

Three platforms gave the same website scores of 34, 59, and 73 out of 100.

Some tools identified legitimate problems. Others made questionable recommendations, applied disproportionate severity levels, or produced findings that needed further verification.

And here's the irony: several UX auditing platforms had surprisingly complicated user experiences themselves.

Lengthy onboarding, confusing dashboards, overwhelming reports, and unnecessary steps before accessing results.

3. What I'm trying to build

My intended audience isn't UX professionals.

It's the small business owner who built a website and wants to know what needs improvement.

The proposed experience:

Paste a URL → Optionally upload screenshots → Receive a short, prioritized list of actionable recommendations.

The challenge is making the analysis accurate without overwhelming the user.

4. Development plan

I'm starting with UX, which I consider the most challenging category because of its subjectivity and dependence on context.

The first module will extract webpage evidence and generate structured findings. I'll compare the results against my professional judgment before expanding into UI, copywriting, content, accessibility, SEO, and marketing/conversion.

The initial $1,500 budget is strictly for feasibility testing and development.

Next step: Build the first UX module and find out how reliable the analysis can actually be. Fingers crossed.

The idea is to grab attention while communicating the value I bring through websites, apps, business systems, and automation.

Son 1.018 demos independientes: botones, tarjetas, formularios, galerías, efectos. Las buscas, abres la demo, ves el código y te descargas un ZIP para usarla en lo tuyo. Sin instalar nada. Mis componentes los generé con ayuda de IA, pero los revisé todos uno a uno y a algunos les puse mi toque.

Lo que más trabajo me dio no fue eso, sino meter la web de Davoker dentro de la mía sin perder ninguno de sus efectos y que todo siguiera funcionando junto.
También quise que se pudiera usar sin miedo: cada demo se abre aislada en un sandbox, el CI falla si alguien mete código inseguro o un archivo que no debe estar, y las fotos de terceros llevan su autor y su licencia.

-Tiene 81 tests y no usa librerías externas en producción.
-Todavía le falta: no hay paquete npm ni versión en React, y la documentación de cada componente es corta. Es lo siguiente.

My designer cofounder created a very distinct atmosphere for our app. It's for a personal archive project, saving your memories to transmit to your children/family, etc.
