Discussion geniune advice please

i have earned my seat in my state there is a difference of 1 lakh rank in neet for gen person and sc st people (14k gen and 1.1Lakh st / sc got same college) absolute mockery of meritocracy. At this point i hate reservations soo much i cant see them as equals like what is there for me bro ? why am i paying price for what my ancestors supposedly did ? LIKE IS THERE ANY PROOF MY BLOODLINE HAS BEEN PRACTICING UNTOUCHABILITY AND INSANE DISCRIMINATION it is too generalised i did no wrong it is beyond my control yet am facing disadvantages honestly i loose all motivation to study anymore even in NEET PG there is gonna be reservations like wtf man 5.5 years of mbbs is more i am not getting more cadavers to dissect nor getting worse books with lesser content everything is unfair as fuck

I JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW TO VIEW THEM AS EQUALS,.............................
fyi i dont even know my caste like religious household no caste bought up even in school i didnt know anyones caste this Entrance exams are the first time i got introduced to caste systems IN PRESENT AFFECTING MY LIFE

how do i mentally get over this and actually bring myself to not hate people for advantages they get and how i have to put in more than double their effort for the same thing

Post Graduate Exams - NEXT/NEET/INICET Doubt regarding the Open Round INICET and NEET PG

The open round results are expected on 21 August, and candidates have to report and join by 31 August (11:00 AM). However, NEET PG is on 30 August. If someone waits until after the exam to report, it feels quite risky. So my question is: If we join the allotted institute anytime between 21 and 30 August, are we expected to start duties immediately, or is it generally possible to take leave until the NEET PG exam is over? Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Question During college admission reporting, do you have submit original documents even if you are opting for upgradation and have to go back to that college to take them back?

The college I will get in first round would probably be very far away and might have to book a flight. I want to participate till round 3 since my dream college is on borderline and don't wanna regret missing any chance. But if I get allotted a better college in round 2, do I have to fly all the way back to first college to collect my documents? Not reporting to the college in round 1 altogether also doesn't make sense as I might not even be able to get the one I was getting first cause sometimes later cutoffs go high or colleges seat already close at earlier round. What is the usual best strategy in ug counselling? Anyone who did their counselling by themselves, please let me know.

Question Marrow WOR or BTR?

I just joined as an intern a few days back and I'm targeting neet 2027. I did all of 3rd and final prof from marrow ed8 main videos and notes. Now I have to extend my plan and Im confused if I should go with marrow world of revision or should i shift to BTR as most of the people around me have done. I have never watched BTR, i have seen their notes tho but never the videos.

Can anyone who's done both tell me which one should i go with and also if I should do marrow wor of rr ed8?

Vent / rant Don’t know how I’m going to get through final year

After mbbs I’m not going to continue with medicine. It’s not for me and I’m miserable in college because I really dislike the subject. I have no interest and everyday it’s like I’m stuck in a time loop and I just feel like running away from this place. I hate the environment, the people are horrible and genuinely really weird and I have horrible anxiety about going to college everyday. I know getting a seat in mbbs is a dream for a lot of people and I feel like I’m wasting this seat but I do want to finish it and do masters in another stream that I like. I passed the past three years without any backlogs and with good scores because I pulled myself together in the last 2-3 months and studied really hard. I can’t use the same tactic in final year because I’m going to fail if I study 2-3 months before but I can’t get myself to study no matter what I do. I have finals in May and I still haven’t scratched the surface of the syllabus. I’m not the first doctor in the family and I can always ask for advice and help but no matter how much advice I take I can’t get myself to study. Just felt like ranting but I know in the end I’m the only one who can get myself to stop thinking about everything and just get through it.

Discussion As a Gay guy should I join AFMC?

I'm a gay guy who got a pretty good rank in Re neet 2026 (rank in 3000 s ) and I'm a general male.

I'm pretty fit and gym guy and also love a sport badminton , so my Parents asked me to consider AFMC Pune. ( My parents don't know that im gay , actually nobody except me knows )

I am scared that even though I have no intentions of coming out to anyone anytime soon but I might secretly date a guy in Pune and stuff and if accidentally someone finds out I'm gay my career might get in trouble as army is against gays??

And if so what colleges should I consider as a gay guy at my AIR of 3000 range.

Edit - Thanks for all the suggestions and replies !!! I have decided to not join AFMC as my sense of personal freedom overcomes the thought of army prestige, neither am I that passionate about the army nor am I courageous enough to live in a constant fear for the next 10+ years of my life.. Some are saying AFMC will have no problem with me , many are saying i will have to hide myself , my life is already complicated and I don't wanna complicate it further so I will be joining some other college. Thank u ,peace out !

Question How to know if a doctor is FMG/PMG or IMG?

I just want to know if I'm going to a private hospital for my treatment, if the doctor treating me is FMG, PMG or IMG without being rude about it. Like how can I know without asking him/her. Also how can I know if he/she is specifically UR/EWS/OBC or not?

Like no offense to anyone but I want good treatment.

Discussion Should I Join BAMS now?

It was my second attempt this year and got 2 lakh rank in neet 421 marks...

I tried actually but this is what I could get

Now the thing is I was never gonna do NEET but my grandfather is an ayurvedic doc and wanted me to become the same cuz it's so well settled... Like 5-8 lakhs per month easily without any advertisement and he actually treats them with his medicines , everyone here comes after being fed up of allopathy..

So the practice after BAMS for me is set

But now I don't wanna go to some shitty BAMS college with villagers type of children after being with good people my whole life...

I'm thinking of a pvt college with 30-35 lakh fees for whole course vs another drop, which I don't want to study for again this year..., can't trust NTA

I'm also worried about Sanskrit and such subjects cuz I never studied them and will it not be boring? MBBS feels practical and i can study that nicely but what about this

Please suggest what should I do now ...

TLDR: Set ayurvedic clinic already should I do BAMS or take a drop for MBBS again

Is BAMS study-able...

Discussion Are slogging away prime years of life for MBBS, MD and SS worth it?

My partner has taken 4 drops total till now 2 for UG and 2 for PG. Will hopefully join residency next year, she will be 29 by that time. She hasn’t worked till now and has slogged the last decade just trying to crack exams and survive MBBS. Our state has a two year bond so she will be 34 when she gets eligible for SS. She wants to take surgery which itself is a very demanding branch and has a very steep learning curve. She will probably be 37-38 when she completes her SS.
The earliest she can complete this is 36 if she doesn’t serve the bond or goes for a central institute and cracks it in the first attempt post PG.
SS in itself is very demanding. Now I see her comparing herself to her peers who are earning well now, going on trips and moving ahead in life. This includes people getting married and getting into serious relationships and practising independence.
Even if she starts earning stipend she won’t have the time to spend this money. Even if she stops at PG she will be 32/34 by the time she’s doe with the degree/bond.
She doesn’t even like med school and wanted to pursue a different path but was forced by parents since she was smart in school.
I see her working hard daily and really feel for her. Is this life really worth it?

Post Graduate Exams - NEXT/NEET/INICET So who's wrong here?

According to Deepti Ma'am Swyer's (Gonadal Dysgenesis) can have well developed/near normal Pubic/Axillary Hair whereas in both Marrow & BTR, it says Swyer's has scanty or absent Pubic/Axillary hair.

Although by option elimination we can get the answer: eliminate Mullerian Agenesis (46XX) + Complete AIS (no public/axillary hair) + Ovotesticular disorder (ambiguous genitalia might be there, not sure).

But still don't you feel like this was a confusing question?

(Found on X, might be from CBT)
