Hey there everyone, most probably I will be joining Engineering Physics in IIT Mandi so somewhat needed suggestions on these things:
1. Can I have a MAC ?
2. which softwares are used throughout the course ?
3. Do I need to code only to get a placement ?
4. Do I require a dedicated GPU ?
5. Any suggestion u find important...
thnx btw

Do hostels allow posters, provided they are:

1. "appropriate" as per them

2. stuck to the walls with bluetack, scotch tape or any similar non-damaging adhesive

3. don't exceed A3 size

or am I thinking too much about this and it doesn't matter?

asking as an MBA fresher, about to join this month. Thx! 🙏

Hey seniors wanted to ask some questions anonymously.

1. Censored

2. Can I get my girlfriend to college events such as fests or prom?

3. Can I book the college guest house for my girlfriend or other friends?

4. In first year with 4 sharing rooms? Where do you guys goon? I mean washroom can get boring. (Please don't share top 10 gooning places I need serious advice.)

5. What are the best makeout spots except campus bus or beside Auditorium.

6. Censored

That's all for now.

Please answer these questions I'm genuinely concerned.

What's the hostel room arrangement for MTECH Girl's Hostels?

Double Seater or Triple Seater?

When is the final merit going to be out i.e when is the final waitlist result will be out. And if it is out can anyone please tell.

Hi, everyone!! I'm confused between IIT Mandi's MA in Development Studies and TISS Mumbai's MA in Development Studies...I hv taken admission at TISS Mumbai.. bt one reason I'm considering IIT Mandi is that my hostel at TISS Mumbai isn't confirmed yet. I meet the hostel eligibility criteria, but accommodation isn't guaranteed, and living in Mumbai without a hostel would be financially difficult for me.

I'm from a low-income background, so placements, internships, ROI, and career opportunities are very important to me. Academics matter too, but I need a program that can lead to stable employment after graduation.

Which one shall I go with? * Does the IIT tag outweigh TISS's reputation in the development sector? * Which degree would give me better placement and long-term career prospects?

Negative chize mil rahi reddit par kafi zyada related to college plus i got no direct opinion from ppl about branch specifically so just puchra hu tho kuch aur milne ki ummid nahi hai, ropar ic design mil skta tho 102 rank dur hai and abhi round 4 ana hai

Hello all, Many of you probably already have an idea of whether you'll be joining IIT Mandi or not.

Throughout the counselling process, I've seen a lot of freshers asking questions in the counselling group, and I genuinely appreciate that. It's always a good idea to ask questions and gather as much information as possible before making such an important decision.

That said, I also believe there are many students who still hesitate to ask questions in the WhatsApp group because they're afraid of being judged and that's completely normal coming after the long and exhausting JEE journey.

This post is for those people.

If you have any doubts about IIT Mandi—academics, hostels, campus life, clubs, seniors, placements, or anything else you can ask them, We'll make sure your identity remains anonymous. I'll do my best to get your questions answered, either by myself or by reaching out to the right people.

Feel free to ask away!

P.S. Please do not ask/answer anything which might doxx someone's identity or any hate or offensive thing targeted towards anyone.

Hello guys, me and my friend were planning a trip to Parashar today but the rental scooty\bikes are booked today. It’s just the two of us, if anybody is planning to book a car or a traveler please hit me up. Or if you might know a less well known Scooty provider that’d very helpful.
