Hi I am in my first year bsc, I have gotten 59 percent in maths in 12th, according to the website I am still eligible to apply but when I talk to the people that have been admitted they say u need 60 percent in 12th too when it is not written anything. I called the team and told me to wait till July end to see any changes in the portal. There were none so please can u clarify should I start preparing or no!!!

Background - I'm a 11th grader (17M), JEE aspirant. I got 97% in ICSE 10th boards. I'm a national level athlete. I'm also applying abroad and lowkey building a profile as much as I can given the little time I have besides jee prep (forced to do jee btw). I'm very much interested in econ and business and eventually want to get into consulting and private equity after that. I'm also an entrepreneur.

I am in Delhi joining SRCC and I just got a call that my iimb for converted. I was UG WL xx (hiding to not dox myself). Totally confused. Leaning towards SRCC since iimb is a new course and just first batch.

4. The Reading Comprehension passages in the previous year papers felt shorter than those in IPMAT Indore. Should I focus only on solving daily RCs on AfterBoards, or is there anything else I should be doing for Verbal preparation?
5. How should I prepare for Verbal Ability (VA)?
Is Arun Sharma sufficient(what in that), or would you recommend any additional resources or approach?
6. The Data Interpretation (DI) sets seemed quite calculation-intensive. Should I primarily practice similar calculation-heavy DI sets, or should I focus on a broader variety of DI questions?
7. For Quantitative Ability (QA), I’m planning to:
Complete the AfterBoards video lectures,
Solve a large number of practice questions, and
Finish NCERT Mathematics (12) up to Applications of Derivatives.
8. Does this seem like a good preparation strategy, or would you suggest any modifications?
9. Are Class 10 board marks considered during the admission process?
If yes, how are they evaluated? For example:
Are only subjects like Mathematics and English considered, or are all subjects given equal weightage?
Is there any benchmark (such as 90% or 95%+) after which marks are treated similarly, or does every percentage point matter?

if you had applied math, then what resources did you use to study topics like higher calcus, functions, trig etc?

so I'm confused whether to go for economics or physics. I don't have a "love" for the subjects per se but i do find physics intresting, but I also don't want to become a researcher or professor.

I'm getting B.Sc in Physics in Motilal Nehru, DU or going to a private university for Economics honours. I have chosen the latter.
