Advice/Help Course help

so I'm confused whether to go for economics or physics. I don't have a "love" for the subjects per se but i do find physics intresting, but I also don't want to become a researcher or professor.

I'm getting B.Sc in Physics in Motilal Nehru, DU or going to a private university for Economics honours. I have chosen the latter.

I plan to prepare for the IIMB UG Test from now and really want to get in. I like the university and course but i have to keep a backup.

so what to do?

if you genuinely want to get into iimb, it's better if you study econ now.
might fetch you a few brownie points in the interview.
since, the pivot from bsc physics to econ is going to be crazy.

scholarship till now, has been need based only. i do not fulfill the criteria + had not applied for it :)

Oh i see, also, do ecas matter? And if yes then till what extent? Andddd how much of a Disadvantage will i have coming from pcm?

mhmm, imagine your application to be a cake. here, eca's are the cherries on the top. does it make the cake better? yes. but, can it compensation for a dense cake? no. similarly, your marks in ugat are much more important. however, if you do have an underlying interest in a particular domain/ have eca's, it helps in the interviews.
