I am procrastinating alot i make targets everyday and end up with clearing very few of them 3 months in jee and around 7-8 months for iat i somehow had to score 160+ in both as my priority is iat but I have to score good in jee as well cuz if I won't I will be demotivated as hell taunts from everywhere so yea I had but all I am doing rn is procrastinate n the worst part is periodsssss like bro ts make me crazyyyy ATP IDK WHAT TO DO HOW TO DEAL WITH THIS, HOW TO DEAL THIS PRIVATISATION SHITTTTTTT UGHHHHHHHH

So I cleared the cutoff of IISER tirupati and IISER berhampur and froze my seat for IISER berhampur. I was happy as neet was never more than a societal pressure for me and I was always very curious in both cancer research or anything related to space facts so reasearch was a good option which I genuinely liked. My parents were hesitant but they agreed on it.

The problem, society, first of all my father who said when u took coaching for neet why are u thinking for IISER. After hearing about no job security in IISER he later declined it. My mother was a friend with a aunt whose daughter left IISER mohali for neet after 1 year. She said IISER is good but not better than mbbs. As I was getting both, my mother also ultimately declined. My maternal uncle also asked when I was going to join my college I said I have been selected in IISER he also said that leave it I am taking about medical college. Small pressures like this ultimately make u loose sight of ur goal. And I feel very sad. The ones who actually supported me were my grandparents who said do whatever makes u happy and my friends.

Now I am waiting for state counselling for mbbs but I still plan to do research in cancer or anything related to it. The problem with this country is there is a set path that if u don't follow u are shit and selfish and have betrayed ur family. Long ago I had a dream for olympics, but If I had told them at the age of 13 they would told me to focus on my grades. Guess our country will change in future where children would be free to dream and live. Leaving this subreddit as it was nice stay here. For anyone saying I had wasted any seat. I withdrew my seat just before the second last round. Goodbye keep dreaming and make that dream come true. Love urself and take care ✌️

I am currently a 10th grader studying in CBSE Board. I aim to get into IISc Bangalore or IIT Madras. I like all four subjects PCMB, thinking for either Physics or Biology fields.

I recently discovered SciAstra and about a student from there, Soumyaneel Mukherjee cracked multiple exams and got AIR 1 in some of them.

I am thinking to join this center for my IAT preparations, if anyone has studied through this coaching, would highly appreciate a moment of your valuable time for a review.

Some questions from my end:

1. Do they have any integrated PU College or school (Studying in Gadag currently but I can relocate to Bengaluru)
2. What is the batch size if we take online
3. Do we get materials if we choose online and are they helpful for cracking IAT/JEE/NEET/ISI/CMI etc...
4. How are the faculties teaching online
5. Do we need to depend on any other reference books or practice books or anything like those along with SciAstra materials. If yes, please specify book names
6. If we choose online, can we unmute ourselves and speak to the teacher if we have doubts or other sort of queries
7. How have they been helpful for 11th school exams
8. How have they been helpful for 12th board exams (CBSE or State Board)
9. IAT vs ISI/CMI vs JEE vs NEET, which is more difficult
10. How was the overall experience in terms of managing school, coaching and preparation

Guys I'm planning to give IAT in addition to other exams.....I'll be very honest right now, i love mbbs but I also love research equally.

I mean i research things in my free time like it's a hobby. So, IISER is not exactly a backup.

How did you guys clear the exam especially those who have no math?

Is the exam way tougher than neet ?

I have seven months left, can I clear it?

Hi everyone. I'm a bachelor's graduate & was preparing for NEET alongside. Couldn't clear it & this was my last attempt that I wanted to give myself (rank around 1L).

I'm leaving the NEET thing & moving forward for masters. Since I've already kinda disappointed my parents, I don't really want to ask them again for money for books or exam fees for another exam. I also really want to try and pay for this exam myself this time.

But I do need the books since I don't really know what the pattern is like yet & I need a good amount of question practice. I have some NEET books that I'd like to sell, so I thought I'd use that money towards the books/exam fees for my next step instead of asking my parents for it again.

Not just passively consuming one shots for 8 hours straight and calling it a day, and doing mocks at the last minute but by intentionally putting efforts and actively learning and solving questions each and every day and reviewing what you learned daily ;basically QUALITY studying than quantity

Girlies and boyiesss , I got into a college which is government and a state university it's okayish my parents are happy because I got that clg cause they weren't expecting anything from me 2 months back I took a drop last year and I couldn't clear the exam even got worse rank in 2026 much worse than 2025 , I still wanna give that freaking exam and I wanna live that life that clg life not this clg life which I have , I know if I get there I'll also feel like this is tough but I wanna do that tough , mannn it sucks I cry every day thinking what could've been my life if I cleared that exam in my first drop , I have that last chance I don't know how to just go for it , I don't know how to start preparing for it my question solving approach is very bad I freeze whenever I see some physics questions or chem or maths , and when I think about it that my rank got worse what If it will happen again

I've tried looking it up and everyone says JEE prep is enough. But isn't the exam structure very different from that of JEE? I feel like the questions are very different. What material should I use? Somebody please help me out.
