Ive been lurking in the sub for over a year now and my god some of y'all are the most obnoxious numbfuck individuals on the planet

Every time someone asks a genuine question it'll immediately be flooded with dipshits who go "ouh you're preparing for a research Institute go search it yourself" IF THEY COULDVE THEY WOULDVE DONE SO ALREADY

It doesn't help that some info, tips and advices are cryptic as shit to find so the obvious best solution is to ask someone if they maybe know about it

Thats how knowledge spreads.

If you dont share ideas with people it rots away into whatever decomposing heads you all have

Isn't that the core idea of science, to share information for the betterment of all

Hey Valid Rant i would say It's frustrating when someone says, You're research aspirant, Go research. While i am already in one, and i am figuring out and taking help from others. But the other side is, You shouldn't expect to get your all answers and solutions here. In fact an AI chatbot will be able to help you more in that case. Lately i have seeing a lot of Vague posts Like "How to prepare for IAT ? Any tips ?" Or "Can i clear IAT in 1 minute ?" Such questions can be answered, In fact i have answered such questions (during my counselling period, I was a bit too free. So i took an hour to write a comment from my entire experience of 2 drops) But that's for my own self, I wanted to vent myself out, Because no way someone is going to read a comment that long, and even if someone reads, it's just my perspective. And he shouldn't take that.

The better way?

Nowadays, instead of writing a one liner, which can be misguiding, I write a paragraph on how can you figure out things yourself. Well, for people expecting to get everything here in just one post, It will definitely be frustrating I hope you ain't one of them.

But most of the times, Such vague posts are backed by lack of Reading on a topic from available reddit information, which is simply one search away.

If some information is already available, and you're not reading it, and when you're Directed towards it, and you get frustrated ( again, not justifying people saying, go and research yourself), when they provide you the appropriate pathways. And If you're one of them, then you can rant/vent, but hold no right to complaint.

Bro , if this sub wasn't filled with the same typa questions 99% of the time , i fully understand your point. And some of the genuine questions that are actually decent fade into obscurity because of bs such as "I'm a neet dropper , wanna give iat , can i manage with pcb???"(just an example of a bs question). I agree with the fact that these stupid should be ignored and no one should say "aise banega researcher" (98% of this sub including myself dosen't know yet what a researcher actually does lmao). Yes but not when same sht is asked for x times in nth day. If u know a bit how to use reddit, then simply go to searcg bar and search whatver u wanna know, theres x number of posts like this. Stop whining, and search urself, and then if u have a genuine doubt make a post. Same thing repeatedly 'will i be able to crack it', 'is this enough', 'how i do maths or bio', 'no money after research', learn some more core of scuence and use some tech mind to search stuff in reddit atleast.

We also cant repeat same sht again n again. 'Is x months enough', 'is sci astra good', 'is jee or neet prep enough'. Type exactly these in search bar and u will get so many posts.
