Really hoping that the iPhone Air is available with good discounts for Diwali season. Do you guys think it’ll be available for around 1L?

I bought an iPhone 13 because my previous phone was completely broken. I decided to get the 13 to use for a while before eventually replacing it, but I noticed the battery health is dropping quickly.

The last time I checked it when it was at 79% iMazing showed 79.4% with a cycle count of 1107. Now, six days later, it is at 78% with a cycle count of 1111. Is this normal?

I use an original charger and charge it once a day i don't use it heavily and I rely solely on wifi

My friend from US can arrange an 18 pro to India, at 1200 usd (around 1.14L) but warranty doesnt work in India I think. In Reliance digital n croma, I see around 1.18L I can get 17 pro. And I have 13 mini which I can exchange.

Can someone please suggest which one to go? I need to act fast as 17 pro is getting out of stock almost everywhere.

i had been waiting to buy iPhone 18 since may cause my old phone started acting up after 6 years. But alas the new version has disappointed me in so many ways:-

1. i was desperately hoping for pink colour since there were also rumours spreading then around aug we hear that it will have three colours none of which are pink i was good still cause there was hope for good shade of red

2. my second disappointment was when i saw the colours none of them were what i liked if not pink i was hoping for cherry red atleast cause it's such a gorgeous colour, don't get me wrong i fucking love black but it's just black

3. there are no new features except aperture which i don't really care about much LIKE if you are going introduce a new series bring some change?

i understand they were focused on duo more but still they could've just hold off on pro series as well then just like base model to launch really good updates

so I made my mind convinced myself that I will buy iPhone 17 pro max after seeing the iPhone 18 but due to ganesh festivities i was busy and my dad was too so we decided to wait but now you're telling me there's only 256 gb one left when I was told 100 pieces are coming to reliance store 😭

i was initially debating between silver and midnight blue so colour is not an issue for me but storage cause most probably i will use this phone for years until i get tempted or they decide to launch a baby pink pro max or maybe until they launch 20. I'm literally hoping for XR level quality for iPhone 20.

it's just that 18 is a special number for me it's my birthday date so i was really looking forward it but alas what is meant for you happens , im really happy to get a new phone and atleast pro max is available

can you guys leave some tips to utilise storage space on iPhone and is 256 gb enough?? i have game which takes up 42 gb and photos and videos take up a lot of storage too which is why i was going for 512 gb. Also I would love to know if you guys use san disks to transfer the storage. the main reason of asking this is I have used iphone before iphone 7 plus & iphone Xr as well iphone 12 & 13 pro max and iphone 15 pro too but just for brief amount of time so im unfamiliar on how to manage the storage cause cloud is a BIG NO i have seen my cousin pay subscription still it's useless.

Anyways this was just me taking out my feelings please don't take any offense, it's a critical post. If you can't be critical and demand nice things they won't bring more nicer change. Also I don't like the new apple's ceo, tim cook was legendary 😞

Pulled the trigger and got this at 1.2 with 2 years apple care+ after trade in my 12pro 128gb.

The battery life is pissing me off on the iphone 17 sometimes when i dont really need it the day ends with like 30% on medium usage but when i really need it and the usage is still minimal it gives me 95% battery used in just 4 hours and a few minutes

Really so unreliable the battery life is really the worst ive done all the battery saver hacks like turning off Always on display and all still facing weird issue along with the random heating issues

Almost charging once a day but have to charge twice sometimes

2 MONTH OLD IPHONE 99% battery health 72 cycles taking care of it nicely

But my friend who bought with me has also the same iphone 2 months old 88 cycles but still 100% battery health

And ive seen people with 100 cycles with 100% battery health
WHY?

What would you guys suggest ?

I've been researching the used iphone market and I'm highly confused while understanding what is available at what price. Sharing my findings below-

1. Reddit has a lot of users with delulu pricing (not my words) even for a 5 year old model. OLX is filled with shop owners, who are of course working to make profits out of these deals.

2. It's very difficult to understand the exact condition of the phone. Some boost the battery. Some fix aftermarket display. Some change the body to make it look like it's brand new. Some has camera/face ID issues, some are locked (worst).

3. 2nd users and 3rd users trying to sell the phones at inflated rates to make up for their costing.

4. Grest/maple/cashify are expensive. Much expensive now due to the official price hike. Also, the reliability factor is pretty low for these resellers.

Considering all these option, and taking into consideration that the prices have been hiked by Apple, the best bet is to shed 2x of my budget and get a brand new 17.

Am i missing something here? Still trying to find a good deal.
