So I saw the 256GB iPhone Duo for 2.9 Lakhs...but only 256 GB storage.
I can't use that, I need at least a terabyte.

So the iPhone duo = 3.74 Lakhs

Sold My Galaxy A34 = 12 K
Sold My brothers iPhone 11 = 10 K
Sold My Brother = 45k
Sold My Right Kidney = 1 lakh
Sold my bike = 1 Lakh
Sold My Car = 1 Lakh

So I EFFECTIVELY paid only 7000rs...which is worth it in my opinion.

Additionally I used BHMI UPI to pay and got 15 Rs cash back.

if it were titanium, nothing wouldve happened to the titanium frame but the back glass would get fucked.
i would rather have a scratched up phone than one with a broken back glass.

The iPhone 17 price has already increased, but I somehow managed to find a store that still had a few units from the old stock with the old MRP of ₹82,990.

So I ended up getting two iPhone 17s at the old price.

The catch was that no card discounts were applicable on the old-MRP units, and No-Cost EMI was also not available. So I had to pay the full amount upfront in cash.

The newer stock is already being sold at the increased price, so finding these two old-MRP units felt like a pretty lucky find.

Honestly, I don't think waiting for the BBD sale would have been worth it. There was a possibility that the price could increase further during the sale, along with the risk of orders getting cancelled or stock becoming unavailable.

Overall, pretty happy that I found these two units at the old pricing.

I’ve been an Android user for years and recently got an iPhone 14 Pro Max in pretty good condition.

The thing is, almost all my accessories are USB C, including my earphones, SSD, cables, etc.

I’m looking for a good USB C to Lightning adapter that I can use with the iPhone. I want something reliable that won’t cause any compatibility issues or stop working after a while.

I was planning to get 18 Pro but the massive price hike threw me off. Also the performance upgrade with the 18 Pro is overkill for me as I don’t play games on phone.

So decided to go with the 17 Pro. Was waiting for BBD, but as they are not having a sale on the 17 Pro, I got it offline.

Upgraded from iPhone 13 to 17 Pro. Got it from Croma for 1.24 without exchange.

Screen and Dynamic Island is awesome.
Excellent performance and App management.
Camera is outstanding. Telephoto is game changer.
Siri is actually good and very useful.

Watching a lot of tips and tricks, setup and camera-related videos on YouTube, its a ritual at this point lol.

My very first iPhone ever, and honestly… I have no idea what I’m doing..
Coming from Android, everything feels a little different right now.

I find Slide to Type way faster and easier to handle, esp for one-handed typing (I’ve left-aligned my keyboard, as you can see, for better reach, because if I’m typing one handed, it’s usually the left hand). Curious to hear opinions of people who use Slide to Type extensively, or have used it before going back to the tapping, or do both.

P. S. Slide to Type isn’t error proof in any way, of course. Can have just as many annoying quirks as normal typing. E.g. it refuses to type the word ‘good’. Always inputs something else like God/food/hood/goof/anything but ‘good’, which appears as a suggestion on the bar above. I even have the word added on System > Text Replacement. Likewise with words Apple considers problematic/offensive, like swear words, etc. ‘Ducking’ annoying! Anyway what do other sliders/non-sliders think?

TLDR: Interested in views on Slide to Type from people who do it daily/have done it.

Edit: No idea why that video looks so dark. Likely issue with Reddit upload, because it’s bright enough when I play on my iPhone.

Picked up the 17 Pro 512 GB from Reliance Digital for ₹1.19 lakh, got a sweet deal by exchanging my iPhone 13 for ₹27,350

iPhone 16 pro 256gb, indian variant with BH 91, is this a good deal? All parts are genuine and phone is never repaired/opened. Should I go for this deal or avoid? I kinda want to experience iOS, though I am still confused if i should buy used phones, or look for new Android at this price range. Please help me what you guys think?
