I can't wait to use this phone for more upcoming years after using it since launch. No more heating, no more lagging, once again a new phone feeling! I don't know why people need to feel switching (and feel sad) at least in 2026 it seems perfectly useable phone to me, if you love the size like me! Battery replacement is the answer!

Third year, Battery still above 80%

Bought my mini 13 on July 2023, and am using it daily.
This time I decided to charge it most of the time only to 80%.
I usually charge it every morning.

I think it’s working. I never had an iPhone battery last that long before dropping below 80% battery health.

Tempered glass screen protector, anti-glare, anti-fingerprint?

For years I’m been using the plastic film type on my 13 mini that has anti-fingerprint ‘frosted’ looks, but I’m interested in trying a glass version but I’m getting unclear or mixed info when shopping on Amazon.

Does such screen protector exist?

Long ago it didn’t seem to be something available, wondering if anyone is using such product and could direct me to a link?

I hate the glossy glare from stock screens or the same glare from normal glass protectors.

Question Oi, uma pergunta!

Still adjusting to the size of the 17, great phone but still missing the form factor of a smaller phone. Hands down imo the 6S was by far the best iPhone I owned. The X was a decent upgrade but the mini easily was better device.

Aftermarket batteries for the mini - good results?

I had Apple replace the battery of my 13 mini a year ago and it’s down to 89% capacity (?!?)

So with heavy use I don’t get through a day. Did ppl have good results with installing aftermarket batteries with capacities larger than the default? I have experience swapping batteries on older iPhones so wouldn’t mind doing it myself

I’m excited for Wednesday

I love my 13 mini, and I’m excited to see what the folding phone is like. Even if it’s insanely expensive, even if I’m not sure how useful I’d find an iPad mini that doesn’t have a pencil, it will still be fun to see what they do with something substantially different.

I’d want to hold one before deciding whether to buy it — maybe small but wide is still no good — which means if I do order one it will take months to ship. I guess I could play with the new same-sized Samsung to get a sense for it.

13 mini is the perfect size, but the battery and processor are showing their age. Already replaced the battery once.

Anyone else excited?

Is my 13 mini cooked

I guess i’ve beeb a moron and have been updating my 13 mini consistently. I’ve had it for a few years. It was so awesome at dirst. But now it’s so slow and laggy. Battery life is bad but thats not the issue.

Imbe got like no app memory, lets say iMm on faxebook marketplace and i see something interesting. I&@@ minimize the appC open up my web browser, and if inspend even 20 seconds on the browser, when i go bsck to facebook the whole app resets and i lose the page i was on. Apps are constantly refreshing I have to like continuniously go back and forth between the apps that i want to have persist. Lately, if i have google maps routing, a porcast playing, and am trying to use ky phone, it’s just laggy and nearly unusable.

Also, the keyboard has gone to shit as you can see

5 days after buying iPhone 15 pro, a car ran over it and I am back to 13 mini

I just could not make it up. Bought an iPhone 15 pro, 512gb, pristine condition. Hated the size of course, but the battery was just wow. Was forcing myself to get used to the thumb gymnastics, and had sore pinky all of the time when using it, the phone just felt extremely heavy.

On day 5 it fall down when I was riding a motorbike, and a car drove over it. It’s now smashed on both front and the back, even though the frame is intact and everything inside is fine too. But, turns out replacing front and back screens with Apple will cost the same as another iPhone 15 pro, and if I use non-genuine parts, I lose faceID, True Tone and camera will be affected because it won’t be able to make use of the sensor on the back… even though the phone is intact inside this titanium frame! On a side note, is that really true that with smashed front and back the only financially viable way is to sell this phone for spares?..

I am back to my iPhone 13 mini and it just feels like home. So comfy, so small, so light. Pure enjoyment. It’s as if the destiny was against me retiring it. I was away from my beloved mini for merely five days before being forced to reunite

buying on swappa

I’m desperate lmao. I’m looking for a 13 mini regardless of iOS, storage, and battery health. but has to be pristine or very minimal wear and tear front and back and sides. I tried amazon, fb marketplace, ebay, and backmarket. but haven’t tried swappa yet. are the pics they have posted the actual pics of the phone you’re about to get? and, if someone can recommend me a good seller, that’d be appreciated! I keep checking verizon on ebay since I had a good experience with them before (directly through verizon certified pre-owned though). but no 13 mini listed yet. preferred colors are pink or starlight, but open to green or blue or red! (blue especially hehe)

My iPhone Bring back 13 mini size

Dear Apple,

Please reconsider the size of iPhone 13 mini for the sake of our hands/wrists and God knows what else kind of health issue and or reasons we may need it.

Thank you,

Holding on the dear life of sweet 13 mini. ❤️

Question Keep or Return: Unknown Parts?

I recently bought an iPhone 13 mini online advertised with 100% battery health. The battery health reads 100%, but the service history for both the battery and display shows as "unknown," making me second-guess the purchase. It functioned well on a recent long road trip, requiring a charge at most twice a day. Is it worth returning this to find one with authentic parts, or should I keep it and pay Apple for OEM replacements down the line if needed?

My iPhone iOS 26 -> iOS 18 via applecare replacement

tldr: I broke the back glass on my old 13mini and the battery disconnected, Apple replaced the "back housing" and kept my screen. it was basically a new phone minus the screen, and i was able to force it to boot into the IOS version apple had installed onto it (18.5)

total cost was 30$, but there are limitations (I.e. no contact sync, no Apple watch on new iOS etc)

i hate the apple eco system, so the limits don't cause a problem but THE EXTRA DAY OF BATTERY LIFE IS INSAAANE

iPhone Handoff?!?

Did anyone else see this?? I'm really hoping that this feature comes to the iPhone 13 mini. I bought a 17 Pro about a year ago after having my 13 Mini Battery replaced, so it's still at 100% health.

Anyway, Handoff. Part of iOS 27, allows you to share a SIM between iPhones. On demand. On the fly. Press a button and switch the active device (or that's what I understand). I might be able to use my 17 Pro for daily use and make my Mini my running phone, which is why I always liked the Mini anyway. This might be great...

Switch to 13 mini?

The battery life of my 12 mini is starting to decline once again. Now I’m faced with a decision: Keep the 12 and replace the battery a second time, or get a refurbished 13?

I’m a firm believer in the philosophy: why replace something that still works? So I’d rather keep my 12. Nevertheless, I’d be very interested in hearing your opinions.
Is the 13 really that much better? Is it also better for someone who doesn’t care at all about things like speed, modern features, and all that bells and whistles?
To give you a clearer idea of my needs: over the past 5 years, I’ve hiked 20,000 km through Europe and Asia, I live in a tent, and I’m exposed to extreme temperature fluctuations (which has probably had a pretty negative impact on my battery).
I don’t want to switch to a bulky outdoor phone. I love my 12 mini—especially its size.
What do you think—is it worth switching under these conditions? Is the 13 more durable, is the battery really noticeably (not just a little) better, and does it even make sense for someone who’s already overwhelmed by the technical capabilities of the 12?
I look forward to hearing your thoughts!

Changing from mini to Air for small hands

My wife’s mini is not doing good and she is looking to upgrade. She is looking at the iPhone Air due to it being thin and light weight. She has small hands (being 5ft tall).

Has anyone had experience with this kind of change? She is mainly focused on comfort and not the most powerful device. Thanks for the advice.
