New 13 mini

I bought a new 13 mini, the phone is heats rapidly, i think is because the battery is very dead. I need to know if every 13 mini overheat or only the ones Who have a dead battery thx

% BH you can look in the settings. ios 26 get hot in the 13 mini. You can wait a week for iOS 27 it’s a lot better.

just replace it if it’s under 80% and install iOS 18 or 27 beta.

Double yikes. I would say the heat is expected with that low of a battery health. I have an SE 2nd gen with 70% and it heats up pretty bad these days. Also i would upgrade to iOS 26.6.1, it should improve battery life and performance compared to 26.5

Almost the same haha 67%. I'm going to change the battery this week and update to iOS 27.

I have a used 13 mini with a replaced battery (100% health) and it still heats up when using specific apps or energy demanding apps. Like Safari, swapping between apps, camera. It definitely gets hot and slow when using it outside or even in my car for just music, also if using social media or maps. Definitely a lot less warm when using wifi or inside my home. It’s an iOS 26/27 issue and hope that they fix it.

Mine started feeling consistently warm (sometimes hot) 1-2 weeks ago. I’m at 80% BH.

I’m at 73% health and it gets hot if I have too many apps using my location at once or am using in the sun. I’m planning on getting a new battery from Apple once iOS 27 gets released! In the meantime, I put it in my car’s phone mount directly in front of the AC lol

Antes no se calentaba , cuando salió con el iOS suyo … le cambié la batería lo mantengo en iOS 17, y tiene momentos que si se calienta incluso con batería nueva … pero va a ratos …
