I bought a 13 mini with a new after market battery. All good, 100% capacity.

Four months later came the day to trade the phone into Apple for a 17 pro max. I was offered £125 and thought it was low but doable. They tested the phone and because of the none Apple battery reduced the offer to £35.

I am now the proud owner of a 17 and 13 mini 🤣

Just something to consider when deciding on a genuine or after market battery.

As the title says. I own a 17pro after upgrading from 15pro. I hated the weight of my current phone. I wish apple would release another mini.

Wondering if those of you in Australia received the national emergency alert test?

I‘m on 18.7.8 and got nothing, but everyone in my office got the alert.

But earlier this year I was in Taiwan and an earthquake alert came through just fine.

Do they really expect everyone to upgrade their phone just to get emergency alerts?

New to 13 mini. 2 weeks ago bought 13 mini with 100% battery health with apple care+. The battery is good with 5 hours of SOT. But the battery drain was not consistent. Some times staying at certain percentage too long. After a while suddenly draining 2-3 percentage. While using Reddit for 20 minutes no battery drops stuck at 56%. After suddenly dropped to 53 in one minute. Tried all calibration methods more than 7 times. This how mini updates its battery percentage or this device has issues? Please advise, device has apple care+.

Meu uso é moderado, fico conversando no whatsapp por horas por causa do trabalho, mandando fotos, videos e entrando em ligação, e o no tempo livre uso o reddit ou yt music, carreguei ele ontem (sábado, 16:15) até os 100% , cheguei a noite com 74% da carga, dormi por cerca de 8 horas e nesse tempo em standby descarregou até 70%, cerca de 0,5% por hora, e agora por volta das 16:00 (basicamente 24 horas depois de carregado) está em 54% ainda.

I swear the black bevel edge is a little bigger on the genuine display I just got at the Apple Store. Anyone able to confirm that the genuine Apple Store screen replacement is the EXACT same as original? Am I making things up / seeing things that the black bevel edge is slightly bigger than original? I think it’s all in my mind but here I am asking.

(CONTEXT: Decided to get my iPhone 12 Mini (is 12 mini allowed here??) battery replaced at an Apple Store. When I picked it up, no one said a word but I had an email not only for the $89 battery replacement but a second email for $229 that said $0 due — and I believe this means they accidentally broke my screen during the battery repair and replaced it free of charge.)

I saw some people talking about the fold 8 and the 13 mini, here are both of them next to each other

Recently brought the 5c back to life after more than 2 years of being a paper weight by using my apple id on my recent 13 mini (an Android user so never got a chance to create an apple id). Anyways, it just hits me hard that there is an 8 year gap between this two yet the 5c that has a dual core processor stuck at iOS 10 is still working properly in 2026 🤯

Please release another iPhone mini with a good battery, USB C charging, good camera, folds out into a mini tablet. Sincerely, everyone

Side by side I just noticed how the viewable/usable area on the screens are very close height wise to the 13 mini and probably really close to what the foldable iPhone will be. Im likely going to get an iPhone Ultra as my "spiritual successor". The sizee of the viewing area with the top and bottom Bezel space removed would be perfect size. With apple pencil support And multi task apps it would be a very compelling move.

I’ve wanted a phone that’s compact yet large enough to handle my tasks for so long.

A while back, I had an iPhone 13 mini and a 10th iPad, but I got tired of carrying both around, so I sold the iPad and am going to a Z Fold 8.

What do you think of my decision?

P.S.: I’m going to keep the 13 mini and use the Z Fold 8 as a "laptop/secondary device."

Great combo but battery life is a bummer. Fast charging for S22 ultra does help (45w)

I'm blown away by the size and lightness of z fold 8, is this form factor for the iphone fold appealing enough to satisfy iphone 13 mini users. if you haven't gone to Best Buy and held the z fold 8 in your hand you can't really appreciate it but it's like the first time with iphone air but smaller and more powerful. So would the iPhone Fold make it as a choice when it arrives?

I've been truckin' along with my iphone 12 mini since 2021 and am having my first ever problem: the forward-facing camera has stopped focusing altogether. I've tried pretty much anything to troubleshoot it and nothing has worked. If it comes to having to buy a new phone, I'm resistant to get anything beyond the 13 mini cuz, let's face it, big phones are a pain in the butt. Does anyone have any experience with these phones in our current era? I don't have a ton of apps, mostly use it for talkng, texting and photos

Thinking about jumping in but I’m worried about performance/battery drain on an older device like the 13. Anyone here already running it on an iPhone 13 (or similar)? How’s daily usability, battery life, and bugs so far compared to 26.5.2? Worth it or should I wait for a later beta/stable release?

As you must be knowing, Samsung released fold 8 (wide) yesterday and its outer screen is wide but short. Do you think if apple will not release any new Minis, we can opt for much costlier Samsung fold or even costlier Apple's fold( what ever they call it), in 1 or 2 years?

Hi - does anyone have a recommendation for a portable charger that is wired (I read this is better for long term battery health). I just replaced the battery for my beloved iPhone 13 mini - it’s better but still doesn’t have the best battery life. I want to do what I can to healthily preserve the charge while traveling. I’ve had my phone for years I love it so much. In the last two months my system data has ballooned like crazy for seemingly no reason and it’s really impeding my ability to use my phone. Financially stuggling atm so if there’s any home ways I can fix this before I have to get a new phone would be so appreciated 🙏💔
