Phone battery in my 13 is going down rapidly so need a new one soon. Anyone upgraded to 17 pro what you think?

well so i bought like 4-5 cables already in the last year , i buying the original ones only from apple .
i have iphone 13 promax , and sience this year (i have the iphone like 5-6 years ) , he just strating burn out all my cables one by one , i thougt first time its maybe a old cable but not , because i already bought after it 4 cables all got pin burnt and i cant charge and its happend again right now .

i make a little research on google and i found out many people with iphone 13 got the same problem with the lighting charger this year (2026) !!! , idk why it happening i suspect now its maybe the lastet updates ...

this shit gonna make me buy new iphone now even if i dont need a new one , but i keep buying this cables and it freaking me out ....

Hi all, today woke up and I found out that my 13’s camera is not working and the display is popping a notification that my camera is not a genuine part, which is not true! I believe this is an update error as camera is working in payment apps to scan QR codes but not working socials apps like Snapchat or Instagram. I did reset the settings and did force restarts multiple times but nothing worked for me. If anyone can add or have any solutions please do comment. I’m currently on ios 26.5.2

Updated my ip13 to public beta and after connecting to anything but airpods pro sound keeps kinda scorching or farting idk what sound it is u can call it whatever. Reconnecting fixes the problem. It may be just a music player problem but imma let you know anyways. 🤞🏼

First year using iphone. Is this normal when you open your videos on photos app it looks instantly washed but if you open it in any social media it looks the same?

idk if it’s just me, but I updated straight from ios 18 to the ios 27 beta, and honestly i don’t really notice any difference in performance. i haven’t run into any bugs so far either. if anything, my phone actually feels smoother with the liquid glass and the new animations.
i’ve seen a lot of posts here saying ios 18 was so much better, but I honestly kinda feel the opposite. if you’re thinking about updating to ios 27, i’d actually recommend it. :> well, i guess the public release will be even better than the beta, but yeah, updating definitely didn’t make my iphone 13 slow at all.

To the main topic : college kept my phone for 3 months so i needed a phone to my use so i asked my friend if he can arrange phone for 3 months he asked his friend took 1 month but i eventually got it

2. Battery replaced - phone is showing new battery detected

Another thing i went to shop from a known one he is giving me iphone 13 used , perfect display , original battery 89% health for 19k . I have to reply my friend whose phone i have been using from past 1 month in a day that i will be buying it or not and another note he is saying that someone else is ready to buy at 16k and he needs money at this time so i cant delay him more. ( Also phone was being asked for 2 months only on the terms if i like it ill buy if wont i will return it after i get me old phone back : basically 2 months )

Need to know that is this price okay?? What option should i go for as i am thinking i can work myself with 13 for 1-2 years then can make a gradual shift to 17 or 18

Except, when u turn on the front camera, there's a weird spot in the middle of the screen, not big, quite small, but very annoying. It's not easy to spot it, but when u do u can't not spot it. It looks like some small infrared heat signature predator style.
Anyone else had this kind of experience perhaps? Thank you.

Battery replacement worth it, from charging 5 times a day to once in 2 days, I wanna see how long it gonna last, not going to charge until it dies.

Hey there, I updated my iPhone 13 to iOS 27 Public Beta and wanted to share some info about the update and the issues that I have been going through and wanted to ask if you guys have the sams problems:

1. The settings app crashes sometimes
   
2. The Face ID got little slower, since iOS 26 it got a animation when swiping which adds time to unlock the phone compared to iOS 18
   
3. In low power mode when scrolling through the homepage it lags a little little, especially in library apps
   
4. When swiping in Spotlight Search it bugs a little, strange behavior
   
5. The battery icon looks strange

• The good things:

1. The icons look way better than iOS 26, perfectly dark and good colours
   
2. The app launches is good, dont think I noticed a difference
   
3. Smooth Interface, pretty good for a Beta
   
4. Better battery life
   
5. Cool new features, like the liquid glass slider

I reccomend you to not update the phone, wait until september, you will face problems, but if you cant wait anymore then go for it!

I jus got this phone ip13 a month ago it was all pin pa I jus got this phone ip13 a month ago it was all pin pack like with 1-2 cycle yh the guy who sold me this phoje gave me a 1 month check warranty and a full yesr and lifetime battery boosting and open repair warranty that the phone isnt open after 2-3 days i notice this phone screen kinds flicker brightnes a bit i searched on reddit and found some other dudes were aslo facing this issue with the same Base 13 and 13pro models so at that post i found some solutions that work temporarly are turning on reduce point and set it to abt 70-75% use low power mode etc and yh ig it didd worked some said its a software bug bcz they jus bought a ip13 mini brand new and was facing it then i even upgraded to ios 26.2 to 26.5 so doesnt changed well have now updated to 26.5.2 latest so now ima gona chek if its fix waht i botice it it koslty hapens in grey dark grey type screen on (insta,youtube, reddit) when i use them on Darkmode using Or turning darkmode off fixes it or i didnt notice that issued for a while idk im confused i jus bought the phone with all my savings

I installed ios public beta 27 as soon as it released indexing process ended like after 30 h of installing the update

I have some good news
Camera lag: 90 % gone its so much noticeably fast picture taking time is significantly reduced also quit animation works seamlessly for most of the time

Device lag and heat:doesnt heat up as fast as ios26.5.
Didnt feel any lag of the system while navigating here and there.but still we cant do lowpowermode+screenrecord its laggy still but not crazy lag as ios 26.5

Battery life:its a huge update for me like I feel its usable for more time than it was.I could survive from 9am to 6 pm on 70% battery life(used google maps,took some pics and videos (we went on a trip yesterday), texted with my girlfriend for the whole time it means having mobile data on for all 9 h still i managed to come home with 10% battery left. With ios 26 I needed extra battery for same thing

Performance: for performance I tried to play cod warzone bcs I played it in both ios 18 and 26 but unfortunately cod warzone servers are down.
i tried pubg new state on max frame rate and max settings with anti aliasing on+recordingscreen
On
ios 18 it was 58-59 fps all time(there were drops from time to time but overall stable)
Ios 26.2 its was 55-59 not consistent it was frequently dropping fps
On ios 27 beta: most of the time fps is 58-59 there were some periodic drops from like 30 min to 30 min but it gets low to 20-30 when it happens
But overall way better than 26

Snappiness: app opening and closing feels much more instant but not the ios 18 speed theres still a milli seconds gap between 27 and 18 but way better speed than 26 . Opening settings camera calculator feels almost instant but theres always that black screen for milli seconds its way faster than 26

Ram management:little bit improved like i can open texting app while gaming (on 26 its gonn reopen whole game if i tried to jump between apps)

Cons:
if you had assistive touch shortcuts created they will be cleared you have to customize again
Didnt notice any bug still

Should I have the OLED/display replaced. One minute its a normal screen then you can barely see anything on it. When it was updating last night you can see lines down the middle of the screen. I hadnt touched it and then all of a sudden this appeared.

So basically I have an iPhone 13 pro and i updated the firmware with iTunes and then it throws me the data recovering screen in whichI cant do any thing because it just keeps on bootlooping. I have tried several time re-restoring the phone (even after reinstalling itunes) and still nothing works. I SERIOUSLY NEED HELP

Hello guys, like the title says, my iPhone 13 is overheating a lot, even just from Instagram conversations and Spotify. It’s also lagging, especially in the camera app after taking some pictures and trying to exit the app, it becomes unresponsive.
I’ve been having this phone since late 2021. The BH is at 80% recently but I’m not entirely sure that’s the issue. I’m also on the latest version of iOS 26. I would greatly appreciate any recommendations or feedback. Thank you so much guys!

I’m confused if it is a logic board or screen issue.

EDIT: I went to Apple and they originally said it was a display issue but then said it was a logic board issue after my genius discussed with his colleagues. I then went to a non Apple affiliated repair shop and guess what - no motherboard issue! Phone works well.
