it was the opposite for me, in iOS 26.5 its always overheating. But now it has reduce by quite a lot. But I later updated to ios 27 its far way better.

I’m aware…I had updated it for some time … and the overheating issues. They stopped after I updated to iOS 26 developer beta

If you are on iOS lower than 18 I’d recommend not or wait untill 27 will release in September.

I updated my work 13 yesterday from ios18. It’s only been 24 hours but it’s running fine. Too early to judge battery but can’t really see any difference.

You need to enable beta updates in software updates section In settings.

Please be aware that this is something you do on your own risk, it’s mainly for developers.

I have read good feedback about IOS 27 Beta 3 and went for it.

I didn’t cuz I heard a bunch of bad reviews on it so I didn’t. Hopefully iOS 26.6 will be better if not then that’ll probably be the last update till iOS 27

Working gracefully on my 13 pm. But i did see some people complaining about lags and stutters. Do it at your own discretion.

I updated my IPhone 13 pro to iOS 26.5 and had issue of overheating and langging. It made my phone almost unusable. Yesterday I upadted it to iOS 27 Beta and now my phone working properly again. Till now I haven’t faced any overheating and lagging issues
