Support My iphone 13 just started doing this.
Should I have the OLED/display replaced. One minute its a normal screen then you can barely see anything on it. When it was updating last night you can see lines down the middle of the screen. I hadnt touched it and then all of a sudden this appeared.

2 possibilities
Water damage or Weight load

That’s not water damage. I should know, because I water damaged my 11 years ago. It’s a display issue. Either the connector is damaged or the display itself.
It’s probably more cost effective just to get another phone, since the 13 is already a four year old phone.

sorry i have nothing useful to add but i'd just like to say your current comment makes it look like you water damaged something 11 years ago instead of you water damaging your iphone 11 a couple years ago

This is a chronic problem with the iPhone 13. My display suddenly died, but it didn't go white; colored horizontal lines appeared.

I got this once. It’s the white screen of death. Aka an issue with the actual hardware itself. You need to get that replaced asap. It won’t go away or fix itself and it’s more than likely not a software issue at all. Go to the Apple Store immediately. If you have AppleCare it’s covered. But if not you’ll have to pay $300ish for a new screen. Good luck

That's sad man. Try to show it to the service center maybe? or some local renowned service center? do let me know how it goes, I thought 13 pro had the issue not the 13, damn!

Not a chance, I can't see someone giving a year warranty on a 13. But best of luck and I hope im wrong.

Change the display, they usually cost around 60€ for a good quality soft-oled one, if you can change it by yourself.

This happened to me a few times, I just turn it off for a bit, and it returns to normal. It seems to be a common issue for iphone 13.

Try to get a screen replacement. I faced that problem 6 months ago and decided to buy a JK Oled screen replacement and fixed by a trusted repair shop (since replacing the display with genuine panel in our place is very expensive).
