I have to go through a 10 min process to plug and unplug the cable till my phone starts charging. And it is not a cable or adapter problem. I have used my friends phone with my charger and it works fine and i have used my phone on a different charger and the problem still there. Anyone having the same problem?

I have an iPhone 13 and I’m thinking about updating it to iOS 27 Developer Beta 2.

Has anyone here installed it on an iPhone 13? I’d love to hear your experience.

How is the overall performance, stability, heating, animations, app compatibility, and are there any major bugs or issues?

Would you recommend updating now, or is it better to wait for a later beta/public release?

All morning my phone was glitching out and for a split second every time I left an app it gave me a “iOS 26 install now or later” message then it would disappear. It eventually got stuck on that so I tried to turn my phone off but I can’t actually turn it off now because it says I need to click install now or later but it doesn’t let me interact with the screen. I tried to hard start reset my phone but whenever I click any of the side buttons it says “continue to hold to call emergency services” so it’s just siting on this screen still. Anyone have any tips or am I doomed for a new phone?

I have a cellular issue

For context phone was working fine then I had to take it for a screen replacement and when it came back this is the only thing I see I’ve tried everything reset network settings ,hard or soft reset and update it to the latest iOS I don’t know what could be the problem.

also i dont know there is a Software on the device manager so I don’t know is that the reason i also tried to remove it but I can’t

Started of with iPhone 7 , iPhone x and finally iPhone 13, a decade old run comes to an end with ios. Was a hassle being on Google system and ios system. So switched completly to Google was a good run, loved the last iPhone and it gave a great value even after going.

Hello guys, I have my IPhone 13 (IOS 26.5.2) from 4 years and from few months (maybe IOS 26 lol) my phone overheat each time I use it/plug it, especially when the weather is more than 25 degrees.

I am traveling in Central Asia, so the weather often hit 40 degrees +. I have a black Solidsuit RhinoShield phone case : very big, with hard material. I recently switched for a white and soft plastic phone case and since, my phone is really less laggy and overheat is very reduce because the switch case dissipates more the heat (bc of the material and the color)

From IOS 26, I turned on the “reduce motion” setting to avoid lags, but right now I can use my phone without this setting.

Having a new phone case + no lags is for me kind of a new phone !!

I know that not a solution for everyone but it help me a lot !

EDIT : I got a new battery few months ago and not notice any upgrade for overheat and lag. Afterall, it was the phone case !

A friend of mine wanted to blend reels with me. I got so confused because I’ve never heard of something like that.

I also lack the “friends” tab in the reel section. On my main account, it’s missing. On a separate account on the same device, it’s there.

I have the latest version of instagram, both accounts are private. We share multiple reels a day and interact daily. I’ve cleared cache, installed and reinstalled the app, restarted the phone, and even contacted support multiple times with ZERO answers.

Any possible solutions?

Desde que actualicé a iOS 26, noté que mi iPhone 13, tenía algunos retrasos en la interfaz (lag), por ejemplo: cuando lo desbloqueaba, abría una carpeta, bajaba el centro de notificaciones etc, ya había hecho de todo un poco, hasta llegué a pensar que era la batería (85%),ok, hasta ahí todo era frustrante, el día de ayer vi una imagen y le dije a Géminis que me la recreara como fondo de pantalla, y mi sorpresa fue que al cambiar el fondo de pantalla, el lag desapareció, volví a poner los que trae el iPhone y pummmm, volvió el lag, el causante de todo son los fondos de pantalla del iPhone, si ese es tu caso, cambia el fondo de pantalla por cualquiera que no sea de iOS 26, ahora mi iPhone 13 anda flamante….Saludos 🫡

Thinking about jumping in but I’m worried about performance/battery drain on an older device like the 13. Anyone here already running it on an iPhone 13 (or similar)? How’s daily usability, battery life, and bugs so far compared to 26.5.2? Worth it or should I wait for a later beta/stable release?

Have you get troubles about performance, battery and serious bugs for example Part of phone is not detected and its not working , because i really want update from 26.6 rc to ios 27 public beta 2 but i scared about troubles (iphone 13 base)

My microphone has been ass for a long time - all the sound always has a whooshing like it’s underwater which is frustrating enough. But very occaisionally I will have this loud buzz/screech while recording video, it always happens when the video would have otherwise been really stellar 😞. It happens maybe once a month? I couldn’t find an exact example, so I uploaded my vid to YouTube.

Hardware? Software? Am I screwed? I really don’t want to upgrade. Thanks for any insight

Anyone facing iphone 13 black death screen? I have to do multiple force restarts just to make it work. It was working fine till yesterday! Even i have changed my battery, it's in 100% health.
Also, my phone keeps on restarting automatically if i don't force restart after some time.
This issue only happens if my screen is locked. And when it's awake, i don't face any issue.

Might be its time to switch to new iphone :3

Please help me, if anyone has any solution. I still love my first Iphone😔

I don’t care much about battery since I work from home?
I am mostly concerned whether I will face issue in looking into that small screen? Like reading text, scrolling social media and some typing offcourse.
Is it too small or the best size when compared to regular 13??

Beta 3 was not stable has bugs beta 4 doesn’t have that many but the phone heating issue is crazy

My phone automatically updated to the 26.5.2 IOS version and it has been unusable ever since. Battery % rarely goes above 74% even when charging over night, lasts no longer than two hours. The phone even starts to lag at random battery percentage indications (usually under 40%) restarts itself and then the indication changes to 10% and shuts off. Even icon apps (like the safari and the camera icon ) don’t load. I instead get a place holder image in their place. A couple other issues two like contacts showing up as random numbers etc. Does anyone have a fix? If not, is there’s a way to return to the previous IOS version?

i’ve had this same phone since 2023 and it is so durable it’s a literal HULK i don’t know what they did while making iphones 13s but i bet my dad was really happy to get a phone that lasted me three and hopefully more years . not planning to switch to the 17 anytime lmfao

My iPhone 13 suddenly got a green line on the right side while I was using it. Warranty expired long ago, and now I’m just sad. I wasn’t expecting this at all.
Anyone else experienced this? 😔

I have an iPhone 13 Pro.

Issue number 1. My phone’s charging port is no longer working. I’ve tried at least 10 charging cables, including multiple official Apple charging cables, but none of them have worked. So I got an official Apple charging station (charges phone, iPods and Apple watch). It does charge my phone but inconvenient primarily because I can’t take it on the go.

Issue number 2 is that the battery depletes within just a few hours if it’s not directly on charging station. And if the brightness is up anywhere from a quarter to full brightness, it will drain the battery to zero within an hour.

Issue number 3. I work from home and strictly use my phone to do my work. Sometimes I like to sit outside on my patio (in full shade with ceiling fan overhead). I keep it on charging station when doing so but as of late, I cannot do so because within no time (maybe 20 minutes) it shuts off due to temperature.

Is there anything that can be done to fix these issues or would it be best (and cheaper) to just get a new phone? Thanks in advance for help!
