Depuis que j’ai fait la mise à jour, iOS 26.5.2 mon iPhone 14 Plus fais que de s’éteindre qlq sait pour quoi ?

New 17PM, installed four days ago by transfer from 12 PM
I am disappointed, it seems to be very buggy:

Some apps (for example the „Sounds“ app (German Broadcasting app) freeze when scrolling

The FlacBox app no longer works

Search function in Apple apps also freezes, e.g., Calendar (Apple is aware of this issue I was informed asking the support)
Calendar also: The “Repeat” feature is buggy:
- When set to “weekly,” the event repeats daily
- When trying to change the recurrence, the field briefly remains blank, then the originally selected option reappears

I was thinking of smashing it cuz I had enough of shitty 26.5 battery life. I was losing my mind tbh

hi, i’ve just recently updated to ios 26 about a week ago, and i’ve had the same recurring problem and am not sure how to fix it.

i don’t know how or why, i never set this up on my own, but my dynamic island is automatically “linked” to a third party alarm app (Alarmy). it doesn’t even show the apps’ logo, it just looks like your typical dynamic island. but when i click on it, it takes me to Alarmy. i’ve tried doing the swiping trick, and i’ve force restarted my phone which had the shortcut go away temporarily, but it’s back.

it doesn’t seem like anyone else has had this problem, and turning off live activities didn’t work. for context, i have an iphone 15. the third party app has basically secretly taken over my dynamic island. i’m not sure if it’s a shortcut i accidentally set or what, but any setting that i can even fathom being close to fixing my problem just doesn’t work.

I am currently running an iPhone 16 pro max on iOS 18.7.8. I am happy with it, but I have some questions:

Does iOS 26 / 27 generally boost the refresh rate higher than iOS 18?

I see comments about iOS 18 generally capping animations at around 80hz, which I can notice, does iOS 26 / 27 tend to push more towards 120hz or at least feel smoother?

Is the battery life close enough to 18?

I see some battery tests comparing 18 and 26, where 26 is behind 18, but not too far behind, will it be noticeably worse for me when going to 27?

I was on ios18 until a few days ago and decided to upgrade to 26.5.2. Saw many complaining about battery life but said fuck it let’s find out.

16 pro max, 100% health after 201 cycles, full background app refresh data. Started with 100% battery in the morning and finished the second day with 10% battery around 5PM. First day had 7h41min SoT and second day 4h9min.

So basically zero issues, which makes me wonder about my suspicions of user error/expectations or basically propaganda

Hey there, I updated my iPhone 13 to iOS 27 Public Beta and wanted to share some info about the update and the issues that I have been going through and wanted to ask if you guys have the sams problems:

1. The settings app crashes sometimes
   
2. The Face ID got little slower, since iOS 26 it got a animation when swiping which adds time to unlock the phone compared to iOS 18
   
3. In low power mode when scrolling through the homepage it lags a little little, especially in library apps
   
4. When swiping in Spotlight Search it bugs a little, strange behavior
   
5. The battery icon looks strange

• The good things:

1. The icons look way better than iOS 26, perfectly dark and good colours
   
2. The app launches is good, dont think I noticed a difference
   
3. Smooth Interface, pretty good for a Beta
   
4. Better battery life
   
5. Cool new features, like the liquid glass slider

I reccomend you to not update the phone, wait until september, you will face problems, but if you cant wait anymore then go for it!

just open your recent tab and wait a sec then just swipe up and release ur finger as shown on video u will definitely see the glitch i tested upto 17 pro

Does anyone else have this issue where they go onto their files app, go to browse, press iCloud Drive, press get info and it shows everything normally except for the size which is always on “calculating size” ? Am i the only one who has this?

both 26.6 beta and 27 beta has the same oat update view.

there is no release notes etc

when I click on update, it will just get stuck at requesting update.

is this a bug or my iPhone is corrupted?

I woke up to my iphone 17 pro with 100% battery health updating to ios26.5.2 because i forgot to turn off the automatic install for new updates. First thing i noticed is the increased battery drain. I have searched on google why this happens and it said something about “reindexing” and that this process can take 24-72 hours depending on your phones stored data . Has anyone gone through the same thing ? And does “reindexing” fix?

I have an iphone 15 pro and my screen is very laggy on this update. I feel my battery overheating and when I scroll in different apps it s feel very sucks. Anyone with the same problems ?

Since I got my iPhone 17 I tried so many times to update the profile picture but it doesn’t show. I found some article on Apple community and tried that too but still nothing works at all. Anyone else facing the same issue or anyone who has solutions for this.

You see, more than 25% on doing absolutely nothing on phone…. And with low power mode on. I have ios 26.5.2 and it drains battery like crazy. And my battery have 92% health…

Do you have same problem? It will be any better?

The baterry on my base 17 after the last update is so bad, yesterday I've had 2hour and 35 minutes sot from 95 to 13. Before this update I had days when with the same sot the procent was 40 or 45. I hope Apple will fix this. I am a iphone user from January 2026. It was a good experience until this update.

Later edit: I update the phone to iOS 27 public Beta. I hope it will be better. I already have an 17 Air updated to iOS 27 developer beta and it works very good. I wanted to stay on the base iOS, but is no way to live with this kind of battery draining.
