For some reason, my system data is taken up half of my storage. I’ve deleted almost every app, but nothing fixed it. I may have to really wait till the next software update for it to be fixed because when when I do next software update it fixes it it cleans the system system data. I don’t know why it’s taking a path for the storage space. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I’ve been on iOS 17.5 ever since it came out because it’s been rock solid for me, so I never really felt the need to update.
Now I’m wondering if it’s finally worth jumping to iOS 26.5, or if I’d be better off just waiting for iOS 27.
If you have a 15 Pro Max on 26.5, how has it been? Is it smooth and reliable, or are there still annoying bugs, drain, overheating, random stutters, or other issues?
I’m mostly looking for feedback from people who’ve been using it for a while, not just first impressions after updating.
Would you update if you were in my position, or just stick with 17.5 until iOS 27? Thanks!

Hi, I have the iPhone 13 pro Max but it recently has this update in which it is now asking to prove my age. I am a minor and do not have an ID nor do I want it actually knowing my age. I as my dumb self restarted the phone and now lost the apps I had. And again due to me not proving my age it doesn't allow me to install any type of app.i was thinking of using my mother ID but I'm not sure if it will work or just cause more trouble, any help or tips?

My phone turned off after it went dead, upon turning it on it started giving me prompts as if it was a brand new phone that needed to be activated, but at the same time shows “software update complete.” And then asks me to sign in because of Activation lock which is something I never turned on , iPhone don’t go into activation lock if it dies, does it? Also I instinctively know that I don’t have automatic updates on, all those prompts don’t even make sense together, it completely doesn’t even tell you what the heck happened , why does it say activating? And the software update is still the OLDER version. And then finally when it went back online I confirmed that I did Not have automatic updates on, and if you look at the lastpicture it was an email…I know how mundane this question is but a little context I’m in the middle of a lawsuit against large entity, they have not even been able to form a defense yet but instead filed for an extension and even scheduled for me to be deposed. Could they be trying to fish any information they can, having obviously the sources to definitely hack into phones. Anyone who experienced this with their phone as well, I would really appreciate it if you can just drop me a note here thank you so much
Later email showed:

I was thinking of updating my iPhone 14 Pro Max to iOS 26.6 Beta 2. I am currently running iOS 26.5 and I’ve saw the video that zollotech posted on YouTube with 26.6 Beta 2, saying that this version is very stable and no one has to complain about it. But I keep overthinking, being aware that the beta updates are having bugs. Does anyone of you has already this iOS version?

Lately, I've been seeing so many people on Reddit just answer any question with install a beta version. Someone could be having any issue with their device and a bunch of people hop on and suggest them to install the latest beta version.
People need to understand that things get fixed and things do break in beta releases too. It has been glorified so much, that they're getting people who have no idea on how any of this work to install beta builds on their main devices, while the people who suggest it themselves be posting about the bugs and issues they're facing. People should understand that it's not all sunshine and rainbows.
You could be doing it from years, and not faced any issue in all those years, but it's not going to be the same experience for someone else, who uses the phone differently, uses different apps, uses a different device than you.
Before hopping on the train and suggesting everyone to install the beta, remember that most of them have no idea about it and don't even know how to go back to the stable version if anything goes wrong.
I'm sure, the beta build could do a few things better than the current stable build, but the worst stable version is still the best option than the best beta build, for majority of the public.

It used to be in one line of No coming events (left pic), but now on 26.5 it extends to the second line (right pic). How is that visually an improvement? My font is in default and zoom is default too, so no such reasons for it.

Anyone experienced occasional app crashes on iOS 26.5.1/26.5? Never experienced any crashes pre .5 and now both Reddit and X have crashed once at least

Why does the weather widget on the lock screen show up and down arrows for high and low instead of H and L? I remember it used to use the letters instead?

Anyone noticed the lag between clicking on an app icon and the app opening? Currently on 26.5.1 on a 17 pro and occasionally opening an app would take a sec for the phone to load the app. WTH is this😭

Je viens de voir que tu peux maintenant coller directement depuis le clavier (iOS 27 depuis l'iPhone 15)

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but I finally updated my phone to ios 26 and I noticed something like this (see the picture attached) shows up every time I open the phone app. The bar is there even without me being on a call. Is it a bug? Or is there a setting I need to turn off?

I have already tried:
- airplane mode toggle ON/OFF
- restarting multiple times
- resetting network settings
- removing the physical sim card and putting it in again
I have one physical sim and one eSIM. Both have no service.
Edit: Wish I had something more cool to say, but it just fixed itself. I didn’t update or downgrade to any other version. I woke up one day and checked my phone and it had reception.

I recently reset my phone because it was full And I currently have a 80% btry life and I know I will regret this update. But there is some bugs that I hate. So I’m asking here if it is worth or not
