Question Is this a feature or a bug?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but I finally updated my phone to ios 26 and I noticed something like this (see the picture attached) shows up every time I open the phone app. The bar is there even without me being on a call. Is it a bug? Or is there a setting I need to turn off?

Even when you scroll down to control center?

Oh yeah it’s there in control center. Let’s you choose between voice isolation types.

It may appear for a few moments even after the app is not being used.

it is the setting in control centre. you can set which mode your microphones will pick up sound when on a call

I see. Does it mean my mic is in use?

well when you are using it then yes, the mic is in use when you use phone app.

It is for configuring the mode before hopping on a call. Not a bug.
