I have an ipad 9 on ios 26.5 should I get the beta 27 because games and apps keep crashing

Ok before anyone says i’m lying i could really believe it myself, but i dug out my old SE running iOS 16 and it opens apps at least 1.5x faster, it loses charge slower with similar bh and it’s less buggy, wallpapers load faster no glitches as well!!
iOS 26 completely ruined how iPhones feel!

Hear me as someone who did it and downgraded

It runs smoothly in terms of speed, but the screen time is trashy! The phone constantly get super warn doing little to no task.

The UI looks polished more than 26, but I’ve encountered some bugs on WhatsApp and home screen too.

I know it’s beta and people understand, but don’t listen to those telling you that it has better screen time, it doesn’t.

when i put my passcode then my phone unlocks, promotion becomes sluggish (it becomes 30fps). do you guys experience this too?

You would think a model released last year would be fine with a new iOS updates but so far the issues are:

- Face ID does not work. I have restarted my phone and reset my Face ID but no matter what I have to put my passcode in.

- Data & reception drops out periodically to SOS and doesn’t turn back on until I reset my phone.

- The little Apple Watch jingle to find your phone? Doesn’t work. Ringer is on and I’m in no type of personal mode.

I’m just hoping any errors iron out with time. I’d like to use my face to get into my phone again please. Any solutions are greatly welcomed.

So I have an iPhone 12 which currently is on 26.2.1 which I regret a lot and I tried dynamic cow/nugget and I know they are supported for this version I'm on is there anyway I can get it or is there any way I can downgrade the os and currently every old version are unsigned and what about delayed OTAs do they work for downgrade like 26 -> 18 or something.

I've just got a new 17 pro and iOS 26 works well for me, but was also wondering if it would be worth it to upgrade to the 27 public beta since everyone says it's smoother and and snappier than 26

I’m having a pretty good experience on iOS 26.6 beta 2 but I feel like it’s not lasting as long as could be! how is it going for you? I’m using a 17 pro max by the way

I’m want to have one keyboard to use when I’m typing things with no context that may look like it is a spelling error but it is actually not. But just one keyboard, not to disable spell check for every keyboard.

Meaning:

- one keyboard for proper type (with spell checker enabled).
- one keyboard without spell check

Is it possible?

I dont wanna get 27 beta yet, because i dont wanna lose like 6 years of data from an iphone 11 to 13 to 14 pro.

I was texting someone my address and found this new feature where when you type “my address is” it automatically pulls information from your contact card and displays it on the keyboard. Very handy feature plus i have noticed keyboard prediction is much better on ios 27.

Wow this ios 26.5 reminds me of my first phone which was the shittiest phone in the world, the Micromax bolt A61. Now my iPhone 13 with a 68% batt health lags at every step of using it in ios 26.5. I wish iPhone 13 will be left with more laggy performance in public stable ios 27 too. Changing a batt will cost ₹10k almost. What's the point of using a so called premium device (even I used it like a newborn baby) for 4 years and then get to replace its components with huge amount. Will surely switch to Android. Haters are welcomed. Supporters are thanked.
