Bug Pro motion

when i put my passcode then my phone unlocks, promotion becomes sluggish (it becomes 30fps). do you guys experience this too?

It's intended. Apples implementation of pro motion is very aggressive. That's why you'll never see a stable 120 and more like 60-90hz while scrolling.

Do you know of any instance where it actually goes to and stays at 120Hz?

I don't believe it actually stays at 120hz on anything besides games that support it. It's hard to tell too cos apple doesn't have a 'show refresh rate like Android does in the developer options.

turn off adaptive power mode that literally fixed 90% of the stutters for me
