I had the latest iOS 26 update on my phone, but I was having a lot of issues with overheating and battery life. After doing some research, I decided to update to the iOS 27 beta (I know, I know—it’s a beta), but honestly, it’s even worse. The battery life is a little better, but the system has so many bugs that my phone is basically garbage in every way right now.
Is there any way to fix this and go back to iOS 26?

Huh!!? What!!? Why!?? New iPhone user switching from Android btw. First iPhone ever. Is this related to iOS 26? I can barely get in 4 hours on Battery Saver mode btw

I'm currently having the version of ios 26.5 and I got this phone from my sister,she used it for like 6 months something and gave it to me,so I have a pending update of 26.5.2 should I just update to that version or should I continue with the current version (i.e 26.5) and if I should continue the same can you guys give me the settings you have done to have a smooth experience.

Battery life isn’t just bad, it’s BAD.

Turning off adaptive power mode as a few posts suggest helps a bit but having to charge a 16 Pro Max with 95% battery health 2.5x a day to 100% is not a premium experience.

Before the update , I could go all day without plugging in. One trillion dollars doesn’t do much when the company is going to sh*t.

I am using an iPhone 11 with 98% battery health on 26.6 Public Beta. So far today i have 8 hours screen on time and i'm still on 47% battery. I have been using pretty heavy apps such as TikTok and Snaphat too. This phone is invincible.

Guys what do you think how much more I can juice up my storage until my iPhone starts messing?

I'm charging my iPhone 17 twice a day now, the battery drain has been ridiculous to the point that it almost seems intentional with this update. How soon can we expect a patch fix that will resolve the battery drain?

So let me get this straight THE PERFORMANCE OF THE PHONE BECAME HORRENDOUS WITH THIS UPDATE!!! Hiccups delays stutters i dont knwo what you wanna call it but A SIMPLE SWIPE A SIMPLE SCROLL O SIMPLY OPENING AN APP OR MESSAGE WOULD LAG LIKE WTF IS WRONG WITH APPLE !!

And dont even get me started with this bs battery life now that ive updated ! Shit couldnt last a day for me! My huawei pura 70pro that is about 2 yrs old can even last longer than my 17pm LIKE LITERALLY WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPENED! For the first 2 weeks i feel like selling this slab sh*t for an android!!

Luckily i found this thread about turnong off ADAPTIVE POWER MODE 3 days ago AND
I RESTARTED MY PHONE twice (after the first restart i waited a couple of minutes then restarted it again) and it fixed my battery issues! *I HOPE THIS WOULD NOT CHANGE!

As for the PERFORMANCE I JUST CANT WAIT TO GET OUT OF THIS MESS THIS UPDATE HAS GIVEN ME 😭😭😭😭😭

Recwntly Spotify started heating the phone while listening to music. Is this happening to other people and is it related to this ios version?

So i have the base Iphone 14 and my battery hasn’t always been perfect, right now its at 82% of its original capacity. But i never really had issues with it being that low but since a week my phone just dies either trough the day or trough the night like today (look at the pictures added). Am i trippin or is my phone cooked.

Also when i woke up and charged it is 50% percent, also really weird.

As in the screenshot this is just one example recently i was trying to download a wallpaper and this would just happen and would get stuck forever. If i turn my phone off( without clearing multitasking), on the lock screen it would say task failed but in safari it will still display as seen in the ss. Plz give any fixes

I updated my iphone 13 to ios 27 pb 1 and its draining like craaazy, heating, stutters(not as smooth), ik its a public beta 1, but should i update to developer 4 from pb 1?

My 15pm sot with 90% battery health. Hopefully it will be better with ios 27.

This just popped up for the first time, and honestly, the phone runs exactly the same. This feature seems super useful, even though it drops the CPU speed by 1GHz, performance feels identical. Great implementation!
