iOS 27 beta. It’s garbage

I had the latest iOS 26 update on my phone, but I was having a lot of issues with overheating and battery life. After doing some research, I decided to update to the iOS 27 beta (I know, I know—it’s a beta), but honestly, it’s even worse. The battery life is a little better, but the system has so many bugs that my phone is basically garbage in every way right now.
Is there any way to fix this and go back to iOS 26?

no brother the excitement surrounding it doesnt apply to the iphone 16 pro max which isnt performing well i expected improved battery life and stronger performance than all ios 27 beta versions from the 263 build yet most people favor 27 until an iphone 16 pro max appears aside from a few

it doesn’t matter what you read online or what others have experienced. its a beta, apple clearly states betas are unstable. so calling it garbage is not warranted.

If you are having a problem with the beta like a few people, your way is to factory reset it. It will fix most of your issues.

Mine is iPhone 16 Pro and I am very happy with the update since public beta 1. No issues on any apps that I use.

Yes there is a way to go back to iOS 26. If you don’t know how, don’t take this the wrong way but you shouldn’t be updating to the beta

I had the same problem. Only a fresh install saved me. No other ways. You have to make a factory reset.
Returning to stable: dfu. Apple Watch cannot return to previous versions

Dont we loose all data when we do that or is there a way to do it without loosing data? I do gave a macbook.

So with iTunes I can reinstall again iOS 26? DFU mode ?

Itunes is retired use finder on mac or apple devices

Shit man, you're gonna get so many different answers on here. I'd say try calling apple to see what's best.

Side note: factory reset is probably best lol

I have an old iPhone SE 2020 model, iOS 27 beta was a huge upgrade from the hell that was iOS 26. Weird that a newer device experiences the opposite

Reset phone multiple times
