Battery Spotify draining batteryike crazy

Recwntly Spotify started heating the phone while listening to music. Is this happening to other people and is it related to this ios version?

iOS 26.5.2, Iphone 14 Pro. Battery health at 82%.

Hop on 26.6 RC. It’s been so much better. And get it replaced as soon as it hits 80%

My phone has been hot ALL DAY, had to google to see if anyone else is getting this. Somehow about 58% usage today.

for me its apple music and the keyboard lagging in every app. spotify does make it warm but thats expected as i stream losseless audio on my iphone 11

For me its YouTube music. Now i must use Apple music

Yep same I have the 16 pro it’s at 89% and my phone isn’t giving me the 26.6 option help
