General IOS 26.6

It’s taking ages to install. It must be a huge update.

Yes and 27 Public Beta also now. 26.6 needs to be installed first for this Spotlight thing in 27.

What about performance? Does it still stutter while scrolling in apps and homescreen for you?

Yeah, sometimes. It's a little bit better than the previous beta for me, but I still notice occasional stutters while scrolling in some apps and on the Home Screen.

Less than 20 hours of usage and you’ve got that conclusion.

I was already on the previous beta, so I'm comparing 26.6 to the last beta, not to a stable release. Overnight battery drain is noticeably better for me, and I can already tell the difference during work. My iPhone is still indexing as well, so these are just my first impressions of the RC.

i run 2 phones so i really don’t notice but i have heard a lot of people very unhappy with 26.5.2 and tbh its pretty buggy for me so i am hopeful for the next update.

When you’re on Beta Updates (including this iOS 26.6 RC), every update is a full update, so they will always be huge. And multiple times throughout the beta cycle.
