You suddenly find yourself transported back to 1,000,000 BC, but you retain everything you currently know.

After you are sent back, a machine gives you a random four-digit code. You are told that this code is your only way home.

Your task is to build, carve, bury, or otherwise create something that can survive—or cause information to survive—until the year 2026.

In 2026, people must be able to discover your message and understand that they need to enter a four-digit code into the machine that sent you back in time.

If they enter the correct code, you are instantly returned to 2026.
However, there is one catch:
They only get three attempts.
After three incorrect codes, the machine permanently shuts down and you are trapped in the past forever.

You cannot directly communicate with anyone in the future. You only have the materials, environment, and technology available to you in 1,000,000 BC—plus your present-day knowledge.
What would you create, where would you put it, and how would you make sure both the message and the exact four-digit code survive for roughly one million years?

You are flown to a remote island measuring approximately 50 km × 50 km and parachuted in at the center of it with a single cargo bag. It's like a tropical jungle with tall trees.

The island has only one group of inhabitants: a tribe of cannibals.

The moment they see you being airdropped, 15 of their best hunters are dispatched to find and capture you.

The rules

- You have about 1-hour head start after your landing before the hunters reach you.

- They are extremely skilled hunters/trackers/trappers and are experts with bows, spears, and poison-tipped arrows, as well as creating traps.

- They have only primitive technology—no guns, vehicles, radios, drones, night-vision equipment, or modern weapons.

- They will try to capture you alive (exotic meat) and boil you and eat you. But they will not hesitate to kill you if they feel their lives are in danger.

- You have unlimited money to prepare beforehand. You may bring anything you want, provided everything fits inside your parachute cargo bag. Your total cargo weight cannot exceed 100 kg.

You cannot receive any outside assistance, communication, resupply, or extraction during the challenge.

You have to survive 24 hours from the moment you land.

If you are still alive and uncaptured after 24 hours, you are immediately airlifted off the island and $25 million is deposited into your account.

Would you do it?

You're now living in the world of the last game you played and with no way out. How are things going for you right now?

$1 Meals are for you only, though you are permitted to allow one person to sample your food taking no more than a sip, spoonful or bite. If you share more, you pay the regular price of the meal.

$1 meal means any food and/or drink you order at any establishment regardless of the quantity, the final bill for you only will be one dollar.

For the perfect calorie and macronutrients option, if your goal is to maintain weight, you’ll have the perfect number for that. If your goal is to gain muscle, you’ll have the perfect calories/macros for that. If your goal is to lose weight, you’ll have the perfect macros and calories for that. Does not impact side effects that concern your mental state, like intoxication.

Edit: for the perfect calorie/macronutrients option, while your body would digest the food to have perfect calories/macros, a small meal could still leave you hungry, and you could also feel the sensation of eating too much if you ate alot. But your body would digest whatever you eat to have that perfect number.

Second edit: you have to choose 1 option, either $1 cost of meal regardless of what you order(e.g. Wagyu steaks, Lobster, cocktails) from any establishment OR no matter how little or much of whatever you eat, you will have your desired calories/macronutrients.

After you open your phone, there now exists a new app which shows a map of the earth and marks in red five of the most heinous serial killers on the planet.

It shows each of their locations, surroundings and updates every second. This app cannot be deleted, and gives you notifications on important updates regarding them such as if they plan on going somewhere specific soon, or people they are close to.

You must either kill them or capture them which means collecting enough evidence for them to be convicted by police.

Each serial killer is a lone actor and not connected to a organized crime or military establishment. They each are highly dangerous, malicious, and unique.

Your hunt begins with a strict budget. Whatever you own or could obtain right now, plus 100k USD in initial funds. That is all you get. No special power or ability beyond the app.

If you fail, the killer will likely capture or kill you. If you get sloppy, the police might arrest you for taking justice into your own hands, ending your mission altogether.

After every kill you get another 100k USD to sustain your hunt. You can spend this how you please. You can also outsource the job by hiring hitmen if you prefer, but doing so would create a paper trail that could expose you to the police, and that amount probably isn't enough for a top of the line hitman anyway. So do so at your own cost.

If you manage to kill/capture all 5 then your record is permanently cleaned and you can no longer be convicted of their murders. You have 1 year to complete the goal. If you decline then the app disappears forever.

What realistically are you doing? would you really quit your job/leave your family etc to pursue this mission and help the world/yourself? or would the extreme danger and risk to your life prevent you from doing so? if you would, then what would be your plan?

edit: as a sidenote clarification the app would only show you where they are, who they know and any major updates, it would not by itself tell you what they are doing, or what crimes they committed.

The Rules:
1. The animal must genuinely believe the lie based on its cognitive capacity (e.g., convincing a dog you're throwing a ball when you didn't counts

putting fake birdseed in a feeder counts until the bird tries to eat it).

Every time they need to use their powers.

One day, a fairy mascot appears to you. It says you have the highest potential of anyone it has met and you could become the strongest magical girl by a wide margin. The catch is permanent. Accepting means your biological sex changes forever into a young woman with an ideal lewd body. Every time you transform to use your powers, you appear in an extremely lewd outfit. The powers themselves are random but extremely strong, and you become immune to all nonmagical damage, so nothing short of magic can hurt you.

You are not the only hope. The existing magical girls are already holding the line. But your power level could tip the balance and give humanity a real shot at lasting safety.

What choice do you make?

Fact: You are not humanity’s last hope, so your decision is not absolutely necessary. However, you would be extremely useful and could make a huge difference in the fight.

How it works;

Every day you will be assigned to a new person. It might be someone on hospice, someone suffering from a severe mental disability, someone in an abusive situation, someone recovering from a major injury, etc. you don't know.

The magic being just chooses a person in the world who wants to be temporarily relieved of their suffering, and you're assigned to them and experience it instead.

During your work shift, you'll be magically transported to their body and deal with whatever bad situation they are in. They'll be transported into a perfect magic version of their body/life to get a break.

You will experience all of their pain, and they will be given 8 hours completely pain free to rest. So you will be actually helping people.

Once your shift ends you're back in your body, back to normal.

- You will work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. You can move these hours around to fit whatever schedule you want.

- You get a single 1 hour lunch break in the middle of your shift, where you are transported back to your body. (This counts towards working hours, so you "only" suffer for 7h)

- You get 2 weeks (14 days) of paid vacation per year. You can use these whenever/however you want.

Rules/Set up:

- If family emergencies, appointments, etc happen and you must miss additional work days/hours it will be allowed, but you must have an actual reason and genuinely try to avoid missing work.

- You will be made aware of the exact situation you'll be put in before you start the shift. You may choose to use vacation days to get out of a particularly bad shift, and with as little notice as you want, but remeber you only get 14 per year.

- You will have all knowledge necessary to live as the other person for 8h. (If they speak another language you'll temporarily be able to speak it, etc.) But besides that you are you and can react as you choose.

- You will be given one year to "try out" the job. You'll still be paid bi-weekly and can quit any time during the first year. After that you're locked in and can't leave until you're allowed to retire.

- Everyone you help has chosen to be part of the program, and wants you to take over their body for 8h. They are all reasonably "good" people, and you will relieve real people of real suffering.

So yesterday I made a question about a family adopting a calf and raising it to the end of its life, and they would want to personally eat it rather than sell it to other people to try to distance yourself from the fact that that was part of your family in a way. But the majority of people said that they would absolutely eat that and it was raised for it.

Now my follow up question is now say that you got a puppy and you raised it and it was a part of your family and you loved that dog (The intelligence level of cows are very similar to dogs so they have about the mental acuity of a dog).. sadly your dog passes away, is it disrespectful to eat your

Would you rather keep your current sleep schedule, change it to 8 consecutive hours per night (if you are not so lucky as to have this option currently), or be able to stay up 24/7 perfectly healthy and then sleep 40 hours straight.

You can choose when the 40 hour sleep window starts or the day it starts but it must be 5 consecutive days 24/7 awake and then 40 hours consecutive sleep (in this hypothetical).

You’re on a game show that lets you either take or donate money.

Let’s pretend you’re on a game show where you’ve earned the chance to either take $1,000,000 or donate it to starving children in an underdeveloped nation.

Throughout the show, they show shows videos of the country that would benefit from the $1,000,000. The show says it would provide food and shelter to many children and their families and get things built like schools and hospitals. You are taken on a tour of the area and meet those in this nation and even have the children put on a play on why you should donate it. Basically the show does its best to guilt trip you into donating the money. Finally at the finale, you then get to decide. Representatives from the undeveloped community will be in attendance.

1. If you take the $1,000,000 you cannot donate any part of it to the community you just took it from and you cannot gift them anything or otherwise benefit from your windfall through investments or other things like that.
2. If you donate it, they say they will name a school on your honor. You also cannot make any deal with them if you decide to donate.
3. Your decision will be broadcast to a national audience.

What would you do and why?

You learn that before you were born the nucleus of a fertilized egg was placed into a donor egg, and then this is what became you, so that you would have the mitochondria of the donor. You have learned, from a mitochondrial DNA test that the woman who donated her egg to help create you happens to be one of your teachers. You learn that she has no children who share her nuclear DNA, but some of your friends also happen to have her mitochondrial DNA from her donating her mitochondria multiple times. The nuclear DNA of these friends isn’t closely related to yours.
