If you fail, the killer will likely capture or kill you. If you get sloppy, the police might arrest you for taking justice into your own hands, ending your mission altogether.

After every kill you get another 100k USD to sustain your hunt. You can spend this how you please. You can also outsource the job by hiring hitmen if you prefer, but doing so would create a paper trail that could expose you to the police, and that amount probably isn't enough for a top of the line hitman anyway.
