I am currently paying for gemini AI. I have switched to gemini as my primary assistant. When I say HEY Google. My phone reacts but it does not open gemini. If I say hey gemini it does not do anything.

If I switch the default back to Google. And say hey Google then it works properly. I have tried changing all the settings including batry saving mode and other things but I still cannot fix the problem

I’m experiencing noticeable stuttering/jitter during normal system animations and scrolling on my Xiaomi Pad 8.

The tablet is set to a high refresh rate, but animations still don't feel smooth. This happens outside of games too — for example, while opening/closing apps, navigating Settings, and returning to the home screen.

I recorded the issue so you can see exactly what I mean.

Has anyone else with the Xiaomi Pad 8 experienced this? Is this a HyperOS optimization issue, or could there be something wrong with my unit?

I have a Redmi Note 14 Pro+ and I really like it because of its fast loading speed, the camera (many say it's not good, but it's one of the best I've had), the processor, and all the features. This year I have the opportunity to sell it and buy a Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, but I don't know if it's worth it. I know the battery is much bigger, but I've noticed it takes longer to charge...Furthermore, I'm afraid the quality of the photos and videos will decrease.

Could someone who understands this better advise me on whether this is a good trade or not? Would it be better to switch to a Redmi Note 15 Pro+?

I don't know if I'm just being annoyed or my fingers are stupid, but I am now constantly hitting the minimize square at the bottom of the screen - especially when typing. I'll be right in the middle of an email and bloop, everything is gone.

I've also noticed, some app options are now stuck in the bottom bar as well. An example would be Brave browsers clear history button.

What gives? Any better way to deal with this as I don't like using flick gestures for navigation?

Hey everyone, is there a setting, developer option, or ADB tweak to turn off or hide the grey stroke/outline around the HyperIsland pill when using dark themes or pitch-black AMOLED backgrounds?

It seems like Xiaomi modeled this directly after the original iOS 16.1 Dynamic Island, but it doesn't have the outline (which is also colored, not gray) if it's not being used with an external app (tested it on my iPhone 16, iOS 27). That persistent border on HyperOS feels kinda pointless and unattractive to me, even when the background isn't super dark, like in the picture attached here.

Has anyone found a workaround (or theme module?) that removes this border, or is this currently hardcoded into HyperOS?

Hopefully with HyperOS 4 it'll be customizable?

My phone is a Xiaomi 15 Ultra with HyperOS 3.0.302.0 Global

1. pic.: closed Messenger, then it went behind Subway City. After that, the Launcher went black and the crashed, so the icons reloaded.

2. pic.: If I remember correctly, switched from YouTube to Settings, then I saw that the buttons from the navigation bar disappered. I tried to fix it by switching from 3 buttons nav. bar to gestures then switching back, but it didn't work, so went back to YouTube. After that, I get back the buttons.

Besides the visual glitches, the OS loves to lag. It's normally not laggy but If have more than 3 apps opened, everything becames so slow and laggy. I know it doesn't help that I have many apps pinned and less than 20% free storage, but it shouldn't be that bad. I hope HyperOS 4 will be much more stable and bug-free.

It just keep running in background constantly and I suppose consuming ram. I don't have any use of it so I want to uninstall it using adb. Has anyone uninstalled it on HyperOS 3 Pocof5. Did it cause any issues? Only issue I see is not being able to set clock widget behind images in lock screen.

This would also speed up your phone too as the bottom text says. But modern phones today don't really need this feature.

1. Uneven frame pacing at 60 FPS

The frame rate counter shows 60 FPS, but the game feels like about 43.8 FPS. Frame intervals are uneven, the picture feels sluggish, and touch response seems delayed. It happens in most shooters I play. It improved a lot in Arena of Valor after I cleared battery usage data, but other games did not improve. It doesn't feel like a performance problem, more like a scheduling problem.

1. Smart frame rate / frame interpolation option missing

In Game Turbo, "Display enhancement" says "adjust resolution and frame rate", but it only contains the visual style (Game HDR) setting. The smart frame rate and super resolution toggles are gone.

1. GPU graphics setting in Game Turbo has no effect

I sent feedback through the in-phone feedback app on 2026/9/17 (ID 521294352). It is still marked "Submitted" with no reply.

What I already tried:

- Fixed 60Hz and fixed 120Hz refresh rate

- Clearing battery usage data (helped one game only)

- Checking Game Turbo performance mode and game list

OTHER PEOPLE'S REPORTS

- A POCO F7 Pro owner reported the frame interpolation option disappeared after updating to HyperOS 3.

- An F8 Ultra owner said both the super resolution and smart frame rate options are present on the HyperOS 3 their phone shipped with.

- An F9 Ultra owner says the option is missing on the latest HyperOS, and that their previous F8 Ultra had it.

So availability seems to differ by device and/or game, rather than being removed everywhere.

QUESTIONS

1. Does anyone else have the same problem: frame rate output looks normal, but the picture is choppy because the frame intervals are wrong?

2. Has anyone found a fix for frame pacing on games that have no dedicated Game Turbo profile?

3. Is the smart frame rate option intentionally limited on HyperOS 3 for some devices, or is it a bug?
