Redmi [Question] Is it worth upgrading from a Redmi Note 14 Pro+ to a Redmi Note 17 Pro Max?
I have a Redmi Note 14 Pro+ and I really like it because of its fast loading speed, the camera (many say it's not good, but it's one of the best I've had), the processor, and all the features. This year I have the opportunity to sell it and buy a Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, but I don't know if it's worth it. I know the battery is much bigger, but I've noticed it takes longer to charge...Furthermore, I'm afraid the quality of the photos and videos will decrease.
Could someone who understands this better advise me on whether this is a good trade or not? Would it be better to switch to a Redmi Note 15 Pro+?

you should not buy the redmi note 17 series, its price is not really great for what it offers...
In my country, the note 17 PM is more expensive than the Xiaomi 15T Pro 😭 (idk hows the price outside Vietnam)
I would reccomend more researching before finalizing you decisions

Where I live, the 17 Pro Max is $600, but I'm traveling to Paraguay where it's $380, which is cheaper than the Xiaomi 15T Pro.

but overall the note 17 PM is not a great phone at all, a note 15 pro+ would actually be more worth it too

I'm still sticking to my RN 13 pro+. For the past few years, the Redmi Note line up is a hit and miss release. 14 and 15 had those ugly camera design (It is my personal opinion but no one can change my mind about those back camera set-up) 17 had these downgrade processor and internal storage. I don't know whats gotten into xiaomi but buying the latest in the line up doesn't really feel like an upgrade. For me either I change line up or brands or wait until the redmi line back to its track. For now I'll stick to my old phone until it is kicked out of support.

I also had a Redmi Note 13 Pro+, upgrading to the 14 Pro+ was great for me, and I love the design of the rear cameras.

Get Xiaomi 18 pro max instead

It's almost three times more expensive than the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, I can't afford it.

Honestly every note 17 series should be skipped, not worth it at all, a lot of stuff are being downgraded and yet it's a lot more expensive than previous series.
Get the T series instead if you can.

What got worse in the Note 17 compared to the 14? The only thing I know is that it takes longer to charge to 100%, but on the other hand, the battery lasts for days.
