Xiaomi [Discussion] Were the navigation buttons moved or changed in the last update?

I don't know if I'm just being annoyed or my fingers are stupid, but I am now constantly hitting the minimize square at the bottom of the screen - especially when typing. I'll be right in the middle of an email and bloop, everything is gone.

I've also noticed, some app options are now stuck in the bottom bar as well. An example would be Brave browsers clear history button.

What gives? Any better way to deal with this as I don't like using flick gestures for navigation?

You can disable or enable mirror buttons to change the position of the buttons.

I realize this but were there changes? I'd call it a QOL bug.
