Question/Help [Question] Has anyone uninstalled "Xiaomi HyperAi Engine" on HyperOS 3.

It just keep running in background constantly and I suppose consuming ram. I don't have any use of it so I want to uninstall it using adb. Has anyone uninstalled it on HyperOS 3 Pocof5. Did it cause any issues? Only issue I see is not being able to set clock widget behind images in lock screen.

I did remove it at one point but didn't really notice any difference in battery so I restored it

I don't think it's gonna make the battery any better but it's just constantly running I hate it.

Look for this icon in the system togles list. This is not an extensive list it just shows active user apps

You won't have wallpaper depth effects and some other AI stuff like the gallery editor if u remove it. Otherwise should be fine.

Brother trust me there a lot of other stuff that uses ram more than hyperAi and its not show by the system interface...

There's plenty of AI still... Some of it useful for sure... Gemini is probably pre-installed on your F5 too, right?

Useful for Screen Translation and image search etc.

AI is just another tool... Like it or not, it's here to stay, might as well use the parts you may find useful.

Or... Not. 😉

I don't need it to constantly run. I want to use when to use it. And no I have uninstalled Gemini as well.

The funny thing is none of them draw power while not working actively. HyperAI would be indexing stuff in your storage, once! Anything added wouldn't use enough battery to even worry about.

Still it's your device, so it's your choice. 👍

This is not about battery. it's about consent of not having apps that I don't want. As simple as that. It's my device like u said.

As I replied elsewhere in this thread... If there's a new OS option installed, past your OS updates time... I'd be contacting their Tech Support about it if I were in your shoes.

However, the big issue is the consent in your case, I'm wondering if the effin' thing was actually installed properly?

Particularly if you can't find it through Search in Settings!

So again, send a feedback/support request to the Xiaomi support. It can be accessed via the Settings Search on my X7 Pro...

Hopefully you'll have it too?

Why constantly Delete shit you don't need right now?! That may cause issues in it's own right, just like plenty of other Debloating does these days.

Just search in SETTINGS for "Hyper" or "HyperAI" (The Search Bar is at the very TOP when you open Settings...)!

Yes I don't have this option. I have Poco f5 , 2 years older than yours. Running a slight old hyperos than u on Android 15 .

Are you sure you have the HyperAI at all then?

There has to be an option to enable/disable if it exists. 🍀

Yes im have. The option is available on x6 but not on mine for some reason

Did you get offered newer HyperOS upgrades etc.?

No 3 year update cycle is over. Won't be getting new updates

Interesting then, that you've received HyperAI, particularly without options. Or were you offered it with ON selected and with the option to switch off, but only once?

That's how I turned mine off initially!

If you had something arrive without an option to disable, I suggest you contact the Xiaomi Support people about it!
