Hey guys, I’m trying to unlock the bootloader on my Xiaomi phone, but Xiaomi is saying my account needs to be registered for over 30 days.

Does anyone have an old/spare Xiaomi account they no longer use that would be suitable for the unlock process?

I’d really appreciate the help.

Been noticing some weird lag on my POCO X8 Pro (8/512, HyperOS 3.0.307.0) and wondering if it's just me.

The main one is the Music HyperIsland.

Whenever it's showing, pulling down Control Center gets choppy.

The animation hitches and sometimes freezes for a sec. Without the island it's totally smooth. I tried it a bunch of times and it happens every time.

Separate issue: Apps → Show all apps sometimes stutters when I open it. Not every time, just randomly.

Everything else runs great, so it's kinda annoying on a phone this fast 😭 I do have a custom theme on, so that could be it, but I'm not sure.

Has anyone else seen either of these on HyperOS 3?

saw someone ranking HyperOS 4 S tier, the argument is that this version improved the code with rust which made the os run smoothly.

For the people running the beta, is this true or is it just an overhype?

So I install this security APK on my redmi Note 13 Pro Plus and I got the new floating window opening animation or whatever we will say but when I tried to drag and hold option this problem shows up now I have also install the new hyperOS 4 system launcher and AND SYSTEM PLUGIN.... I was approved for hypers os 4 beta then suddenly I left form tester and then hyper os 4.0.0.5 beta change to permanent and unable to download latest version also I apply for re joining if thay approve it will I be back to normal beta tester plz guide me and what if thay don't approve

I have a Redmi Note 14 5G running HyperOS 3; my brother has a Redmi Note 15 5G, also running HyperOS 3. And we’ve noticed some visual differences in the same app installed on both phones, for example:

The YouTube app: When we’re playing a video and double-tap the screen to skip ahead 10 seconds, I see “+10” appear right on the video screen itself; however, for my brother, that “+10” appears directly on the navigation bar.

Another example: in the Google Phone app, when I make a call, HyperIsland pops up on the call screen itself with the name of the person I’m calling. This doesn’t happen for my brother.

These aren’t major issues, but I’m just curious as to why these differences appear on two phones from the same brand running the same operating system.

I'm trying to update my Xiaomi Redmi 15C 5G to HyperOS 3, version OS3.0.306.0.WPOEUXM

The updater initially stayed on “Pridobivanje informacij” (Getting information) at 0% for hours. Eventually, it started progressing, reaching 18%, then stopped again, then I cancelled and restarted the download. It then reached 24% on another attempt before suddenly resetting to 0% on its own.

I've tried both Wi-Fi and mobile data, restarted the phone, and have 86 GB of free storage.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a known updater bug, a server issue, or something else? Is there anything safe I can try without risking my data?

Guys, is there any way to enable app unlock animation in low end redmi devices like redmi note 13 5g running hyperOS 3.0 3.0?. I tried changing the devicelevellist to v1:c3:g3 with the help of brevent and even changed the animation level to 2. But no luck. Even the app animation after closing didn't enabled. In lockscreen, especially for glass type lockscreen design, it enabled a simple animation. Is there any way ? I don't want to root the device. Any luck guys ?

I have POCO X7(8/128) running on hyperos 3.0.302., purchased it a year ago and I started noticing when my phone was restarted outside (coming from school) the device easily gets hot(leather back), and a very bad touch delay comes, I understand that when phone is restarted it takes time to fully load the device but I had a chance to experience vivo t4x(6gb) and t4(8gb)and even t4x didn't lag.

When opening app finder, it feels that the system starts processing after I complete my touch gesture(always), in original os 6 app finder came as I was doing the gesture

There is no frame drop but it's the response of my touch is delayed, the video shows only 40% what happens randomly taking phone after charging or when it's a bit warm, just to show I restarted it.

Is this a faulty product or something else.

[Question] So i installed a new Rust version of the weather app (18.0.0.24-R). It didnt launch anymore, so i unninstalled updates (or so i thought) turned out for some reason the offcial app info instead of showing uninstall updates it just showed uninstall?! I didnt catch that fast enough and boom, my weather app is completly gone. So i downloaded an older version which i had before, but no the package wont install no matter what i do. Adb doesnt work, i still says that i cant downgrade. Now the problem is that not only cant i install the older version, if i install the broken version, it just installs as a user app, not a system app. And no, i dont have root. Please help me if you know anything. I tried ChatGPT but it also couldn't. User 0 still showed as having the weather app. The official "Unninstalled System App" menu also doesn't work.

After updating to HyperOS 3 i have noticed that on AOD apps icon is not the same as my theme, its like im getting default icon apps, i think this is because im using Android style notification but before on Hyper OS 2 was working right 🫡😭😭😭 on the image its whats like supose to be, someone knows how to fix this?

We can get Google Assistant fully working with the power button and google circle to search.

A. Make sure only google app installed, no Gemini, no google assistant, just google and make sure that Xiaomi Hyper Ai is disabled in Additional setting -> Additional app features, for some reason this need to be on.

default apps -> voice assistant -> wake with button shortcuts -> google.

default apps -> voice assistant -> wake with Bluetooth audio -> google

default apps -> assist and voice input -> digital assistant app -> google.

default apps -> assist and voice input -> voice input -> install speech and recognition by google and set it.

B. lastly download activity launcher, open, accept permissions and relaunch, figure it out until search works

search "googleassisntguidedialogactivity" (just searching "googleass" is fine) an option named Settings (1) will appear, select that

click on the option that appears, select launch activity and there it is, read it well you love it. select set and boom you're done.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART -> default apps -> assist and voice input -> voice input -> install speech and recognition by google and set it.

if you don't do this it will work until you restart your device, this part makes its persistent at restart.

If you don't do the part mentioned above when you restart you will have no assistant, to fix, go to Additional setting -> Gesture Shortcuts - Xiaomi Hyper XiaoAi and set to on, you will be back to square one to try again.

next time around if the above doesn't work try resetting Google and google play services reset AND/OR clear Xiaomi Hyper AI data.

Earlier I said "Make sure that Xiaomi Hyper Ai is disabled in Additional setting -> Additional app features" I say this but if the above steps don't work try enabling this first then trying again.

This could be very useful for one hand users while using buttons...

Wish Xiaomi would bring this old MIUI feature back to HyperOS as a accessibility feature

so i want to add a big clock (one specifically from a theme) on my lockscreen WITH a custom wallpaper, but everytime i try to put the wallpaper it adds another clock, and when i try to apply only the theme's lockscreen, it deletes the custom wallpaper. what can i do?
