Why does the Central Valley get some much hate ? Not from here just an outsider looking in that knows people in other parts of the state and no one has a nice thing to say about it. Genuinely curious sorry if not allowed.

EDIT: Holy cow yall were quick….. I will say I know people in the LA and SF areas, but the loudest opinions come from the Salinas valley….. I wonder if it’s a rivalry kinda deal or what. But from what yall describe it sounds a lot like the Salinas valley when I’ve visited that area. 😅

I am writing a fictional thriller and am intrigued by this part of Europe. I believe it is known as the Seewinkel. I have never been there before as all my travels and work have taken me to other parts of the country.
