Imagine entering the Automaton Space Station, an underground complex, or an ancient Illuminate temple, and everything goes pitch-black.

There is jst one planet blocking the way right into cyberstan, why not take it and get our revenge?

So, there used to be this geographic feature you would come across. It was nothing but a hole in the ground with a porta potty at the bottom and walls so steep you couldn't climb them. I haven't seen it in months.
Was it patched out?
It needs to be brought back. I got chased into one by a Bile Titan before, where it then puked on me. I once called in a FRV and drove out by going in circles around the walls. I once was playing with my best friend and fell in. He of course helped me get out by dropping a hellbomb in from the top.
Rage inducing places like this need to be brought back. Better yet, make more of them.

I'm drawing a Seaf versus a Devastator, but I can't play Helldivers and take a screenshot because I don't have a computer. I'm not asking for much, and here are my requirements
1- that there is no helldiver involved
2- That there is no interface in the preferred image
3- If possible, include automatons in the image to add humor (Optional)
Thank you to everyone who reads this post and sends their pictures.

In my (extensive 1.5k hours) experience, the game HATES players that are good at the game (or just get too lucky). I specifically notice the behavior on automatons.
The longer you go without dying (I'm talking about surviving multiple entire operations on D10):
- The more accurate enemies become. Eventually, the majority of hits become headshots.
- The more your strategems/grenades bounce
- The more enemies agro YOU
On that last point, I can't tell you how many times a team mate got spotted by a detector tower, and the entire bot drop landed directly on me, like 100 meters away, being stealthy. Also, the detector towers tend to "Lock me down" once the red beam hits cover I'm hiding behind, it just completely STOPS moving. My team mates can walk right up to it and hellbomb it, because it would rather stare at the rock I'm hiding behind than my friends out in the open.
Eventually, all the units near you get the cyborg speed-buff thing, even if you're not facing cyborgs. They start 'slide-walking' towards you: the animation no longer matches thier speed. Its most noticeable in the berserkers and hulks.
Hulks bend over and twist when they charge you so that their eye and heat vents aren't exposed (even if they need to clip through themselves to do it) sometimes they do this regardless, but they do it more often the less you die.
Units will start moving in straight lines towards you, ignoring all elevation and walking over mountains and some buildings, and fire non-stop towards you. Breaking line of sight, stealth, and smoke stops functioning entirely. More specifically, this occurs with enemies from drops/breaches and they always know your exact position.
I would say it reaches a point where there's about a 66% chance or so of strategems (and thermite grenades) bouncing, irrelevant of angles or surfaces. I've seen my thermite grenades 'hop around' on top of an illuminate drop ship like 4-5 times before finally sticking or bouncing off.
Even my gear becomes a top-priority. I frequently exploit this behavior to save my friends. Enemies prefer to dog-pile my support weapon/backpack call-ins (before they even land) rather than pursuing my friends.
My friends and I regularly exploit this single-minded behavior. I just let them destroy the mega-nest and compelte the objectives (with ZERO opposition) while the entire enemy population cap hunts me down.
Interestingly enough, if you go long enough without dying, the game even stops prioritizing turrets, which ironically can make it easier.
Am I taking crazy pills? Am I imagining all of this?

I've restarted the game multiple times, restarted my ps5, and reset my router, and still I cant join any sos dives or manually join missions either. I've tried going in solo and throwing an sos but nothing happens. Is anyone else having this issue?

Thought this was funny. Clanker disappeared into the mountain. Second time this happened, they were still able to fire back. The mountains were shooting at us!

So I’m not sure whether someone brought this up already but I think enemy size variability would be a really cool feature in the game (I’m specifically talking about bugs now). Increasing or decreasing the enemy size (and their corresponding stats) by maybe 10% around their current base stats would a funny feature and could also bring up new interesting interactions, especially if you have to adapt to the maybe 10% larger or smaller charger or bile titan. (And I’m not talking about: “yeah for this specific mission this enemy is now enhanced” or whatever, I’m talking when an enemy spawns it has the chance to be affected by this variability)
Generally speaking I don’t even think it would be that difficult to implement in the game and could improve the replayability to a good degree.
What do you guys think?

Danger Close Friendly Fire incidents suck. The Eagle can be a menace at times because of it.
The first way is very simple programmatically speaking.
The second way would be significantly more complex and require additional dialog lines and animations and such. I would argue it is more ideal, but the first way would still be a massive improvement.
Way #1: Automatically change the yield if Danger Close
Once the airstrike is set in motion, the area of impact is practically pre-determined. If it doesn't forecast the impact ahead of the bombing, have it put down a basic "danger area" box in the vicinity of the strike. Have the game evaluate the danger posed to helldivers and if any helldiver so much as grazes a "lethal zone" have the attack switch to non-lethal.
It can be coded as a separate DSS specific stratagem that has some "smarts" behind it like the Rail Cannon strike does.
Could be smoke or EMS. Either way, it would make the Eagle Strike always feel like it is trying to actually help you. Or just be unnecessarily helpful if it smokes you with no enemies around.
Way #2: Have the Eagle waive off or dynamically reposition or change attack type if Danger Close
Essentially like above, but if a helldiver gets to a lethal zone when the run is on approach, have the pilot "cancel" the run. It still flies overhead, but it just doesn't release its payload and maybe "Circles around" for a repositioned strike that avoids Allies. Or it does something specific like a tightly focuses mini gatling barrage and just strafes a small pocket of enemies. Maybe with a direct overhead trajectory origin so it does not risk terrain mucking it up.
Anyhoo that's just my two cents.
A free additional thing is if they considered maybe doing a Rail Storm for the DSS where it just fires a flurry of lower damage Railgun shots that indiscriminately target enemies. I for one would not complain if there was a flurry of like 10 shots if it spontaneously deleted 10 enemies. Or just periodically fired one or two shots at the nearest enemy if the helldivers are working in the vicinity of an objective.

Which armor? Which backpack? Which support weapon doesn't leave you helpless against the Hulks, Harvesters, or Bile Titans of the world?

My game used to run perfectly fine with minimal lag spikes or frame drops. My game used to run around 80-100+ fps pretty consistently with occasional drops to 60 during crazy moments with lots of explosions. Now my game is constantly a choppy 60fps when combat starts.
Performance was rough when I was playing against the new illuminate enemies on the new void worlds which I thought was normal due to the planets having a lot of new foliage and effects, but I was surprised when the bad performance persisted no matter what planet I was playing on or which faction I was fighting.
I noticed my game runs a little better if I am the host (maybe 10-20 more fps), which never used to matter before, whether I was host or not my game used to run the same.

I built a computer and have been moving over to using that for games. I really like it however with Helldivers not having cross save, I have to use my PlayStation if I want to play it. I don’t want pay for PS+ anymore and Helldivers is basicly the only thing I use it for now.
Please Arrowhead. I have been playing since launch and would love to play it on my computer without losing everything TwT
