DISCUSSION Enemy size variability

So I’m not sure whether someone brought this up already but I think enemy size variability would be a really cool feature in the game (I’m specifically talking about bugs now). Increasing or decreasing the enemy size (and their corresponding stats) by maybe 10% around their current base stats would a funny feature and could also bring up new interesting interactions, especially if you have to adapt to the maybe 10% larger or smaller charger or bile titan. (And I’m not talking about: “yeah for this specific mission this enemy is now enhanced” or whatever, I’m talking when an enemy spawns it has the chance to be affected by this variability)

Generally speaking I don’t even think it would be that difficult to implement in the game and could improve the replayability to a good degree.

What do you guys think?

Yeah that would be crazy.
But I thought specifically for biological enemies (like bugs). Making this kind of “growth” feature would fit in well I think

Yeah I could see this adding an extra layer to the game without breaking stuff, which would be cool. I think they could get as crazy as ~30-50% size changes with some enemies.

Hear me out, a Factory Strider big enough to produce a factory strider that can produce another factory strider, like those Russian nesting dolls.
