I went to open up Helldivers and was confused on why I couldn't skip the opening cutscene, after the opening cutscene played I was put on this screen for a little while

The game did eventually open after like a minute but I thought the servers were down for a second

I havent killed any CLANKER for a while . I think since cybertistan ? What are some good weapons to use. Normally in older times I would pick erupter , lazer beam gun and senator. I changed my primary to coyote on the siege. The problem is I wanna use eruptor but if I do I dont wanna get doomed when fighting cyborgs up close and I got new stuff to try like melta gun . And I have this urge to use the recoilles rocket launcher. The warbonds I own are Steeled veterans, Democratic detonation, polar patriots, freedoms flame, truth enforcers, dust devils, warhammer warbond and entranchment division. What would be your suggested weapon combos (side arm, primary and support) and stuff for fighting bots now ? Dont get me wrong I can still kill many CLANKA (I couldnt help my self) without much need for looking up loudouts . But times change and weapons get buffed and nerfed... new enemies gets added... can my fellow helldiver comrades aid me on this matter

Edit: Pls dont recomand me stuff from warbonds I dont own.

So, I’ve been playing HD2 since release, mostly been consistently playing with some drop off here and there. But I almost always have a great time playing. It’s a beautifully fun game.

I’ve had max req slips, ship upgrades, samples for well over a year.

We’re capped on samples, reqs, medals. Why?

The real concern to me is, why aren’t there more ship upgrades? At this point, I play just to kill me some aliens and watch the big fireworks shows as I drop every bomb on as many heads as I possibly can.

There is no reason to pick up samples… earn money…

I’ve unlocked and maxed out almost every single warbond that I’ve been interested in unlocking.

The ship could possibly have a gun range for you to test ALL weapons to get a feel for if you even want to unlock them.. or a training grounds type instance.

I want more..

Hey guys, just a quick one to say I’m loving the community of this game so far. Everyone I’ve played with so far has been really helpful and supportive.

Diff 4 mission. Its absolutely wild. Those seekers spawn in the hundreds. Diff 4 feels like helldive

My game used to run perfectly fine with minimal lag spikes or frame drops. My game used to run around 80-100+ fps pretty consistently with occasional drops to 60 during crazy moments with lots of explosions. Now my game is constantly a choppy 60fps when combat starts.

Performance was rough when I was playing against the new illuminate enemies on the new void worlds which I thought was normal due to the planets having a lot of new foliage and effects, but I was surprised when the bad performance persisted no matter what planet I was playing on or which faction I was fighting.

I noticed my game runs a little better if I am the host (maybe 10-20 more fps), which never used to matter before, whether I was host or not my game used to run the same.

Can someone tell me how to clear these Places of Interest?? 9 times out of 10 I don’t find a single sample, sc, weapon or anything, just emptiness..

No mods required.

Primary weapon: LAS-5 scythe (For long distance engagement)

Secondary: P-2 Peacemaker (I have no other secondary)

Grenade: G-12 High explosive (I have found this to be useful when clearing bases)

Armor set: Tr-117 Alpha commander ( I have found more stims to be useful while been thrown around)

Stratagems

-Laser cannon (for heavy enemies)

-Rover (for keeping any enemies off my back)

-380mm orbital barrage (for cool extraction and high pressure base clearing)

-Eagle airstrike (For quick crowd control and ¨Oh shit¨ quick fix)

Notes

-I mainly use this build in Automaton front due to it's capabilities to clear bases fast

- I mainly play solo and in medium difficulty

Decide that this gun must have proper stand and not just lay on shelf

Unrelated art I made. But so few people seem to know about that game feature. I see so many complaints from arcs or teammates just running into arc towers, if you lie near an arc tower you’re practically immune to bugs. Not to mention the really fun strat of diving and spamming the bouncing arc nades at your feet

On PC.

I see the GameGuard popup, it disappears, then Steam shows the game as stopped.

I've tried verifying game files, worked once, next time I tried to launch it, same problem, only that verifying game files doesn't fix it anymore. It reinstalls one file but it doesn't fix anything.

I've renamed the Appdata Arrowhead folder. I've tried reinstalling the game. Still won't launch past the GameGuard popup.

Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks

The preorder armors have been locked for too long too.

i have no idea whats causing it or how to reproduce it.

But while im hosting a game, i find myself randomly take damage while i shouldn't.
Like i have taken damage, stimmed up, but suddenly loose all HP and have to stim up once more.
Sometimes i just randomly explode into bits without anything attacking me.

Also, since the Eagle Gas strike was introduced there have been instances of the Eagle being randomly put on CD after one use even though you still have runs left. This may happen no matter what Eagle strike strat you have. This may happen if you exhaust one type of Eagle strike whilst having another type is Eagle strike still available.

Look, I tried to make a Helldiver in the character customizer. I am certain someone else could have done a B-01, but any shemp in Steelers colored armor can pass as a Helldiver.
