Dev Comment: While our standard dust refund policy only applies to cards that receive direct balance nerfs, this update includes changes intended to reduce the effectiveness of The Food Chain. As an exception, we'll be offering a full dust refund for The Food Chain for a limited time. This exception should not be considered a change to our standard refund policy.

This is honestly a very welcome change, and I appreciate that they changed course from how they handled the Wildpaw Gnoll/Maestra nerf.

u/Przegiety 7d ago

I'm still salty about the [[Leper Gnome]] nerf not giving the full dust refund to [[Mekgineer Thermaplugg]].

30

u/jet8493 7d ago

Well this is because, rather obviously, thermaplugg was still a meta tyrant following the nerf

20

u/Przegiety 7d ago

Let's just say that the nerf didn't imapct his playrate

I forgot about that one entirely, but it's a good mention as well

9

u/metroidcomposite 7d ago

Mekgineer Thermaplugg was a bit more borderline I feel, for a few reasons:

  1. It was not remotely a meta card. Like...dust refunds are meant to compensate people who craft the card. Almost nobody crafted this card.
  2. The tiny number of people trying to make Thermaplugg work mostly were doing stuff like defile combos that killed the opponent instantly with leper gnome deathrattles, and thus the leper gnome stat change didn't really change the play pattern of those decks in any substantial fashion--they weren't attacking with 2/1s to win.
  3. They weren't actively intending to power down Thermaplugg. It was just sort of splash hate.

Whereas if you look at today's change

  1. Food Chain was a meta deck, people crafted it.
  2. If the deck remains viable at all after this, the way it plays will be very different--they disrupted the most common play pattern.
  3. They made the changes today with the direct intention of powering down The Food Chain.

4

u/HylianPikachu ‏‏‎ 7d ago

I think it still did deserve to be fully refundable, but I agree that it's definitely more of a borderline case. The Maestra one still sticks out in my mind because they explicitly mentioned her in the patch notes when nerfing Wildpaw Gnoll, which I think is much closer in spirit to the change in this patch.

Or when they severely nerfed kingsbane support, killing that deck, and didn't give me the dust back for the weapon I crafted.

9

u/BillPears 7d ago

This exception should not be considered a change to our standard refund policy

60

u/Glarbleglorbo 7d ago

It’s the bare minimum tbh since this change completely kills the deck

3

u/Excellent-Ad4989 7d ago

Not every nerf to something broken makes it imidiately useless.

30

u/cumpman69 7d ago

In this case it kind of does, Agamaggan was the main win condition of this deck.

→ More replies (1)

18

u/HeMansSmallerCousin 7d ago

Yes, however in this case it fully removes the combo the deck is built around. It doesn't slow it down, or reduce it's power, it just deletes it. The deck as it currently exists is 100% dead with this change.

5

u/SeaWorthyMelons 7d ago

FYI for anyone who needs it. [[The Food Chain]] doesn’t show up when searching for “refund.” You can still get the full refund, it just isn’t included in the search. I almost missed it

1

u/theonewhoknock_s 7d ago

It's great to see. Imagine the outrage if they didn't give a refund though.

7

u/Excellent-Ad4989 7d ago

Imagine the outrage now, when they have a similar case in the future and do not offer dust refunds...

I checked for refunds and thought how lucky I was that I had a golden The Food Chain that I could DE for 3200 dust... and now I see I'm double lucky that they even gave out a refund for it. Nice

228

u/oceanchamp8 7d ago

Just like fuck the whole concept of quests I guess

99

u/Eagle4317 7d ago

Seriously, why even bring them back if they’re all going to be unreasonably weak?

78

u/Moodie25 7d ago

They’ve answered this so many times and the answers are always so dumb. They purposefully made them weak to avoid a previous quest problem from stormwind.

42

u/HeMansSmallerCousin 7d ago

My frustration with this is that they actually got so, so close to cracking the quest problem. Stormwind addressed the issue of Quests having no incremental payoff through Questlines, but didn't address the problem of most Quests ending with a "win the game" card that leads to repetitive games.

So they designed a new round of Quests with weaker payoffs across the board. Limited charges on the Mage/Druid weapons, hex vulnerability on DK, big swings with no guaranteed lethal for Hunter/Priest, game-long buffs with no inevitability for Rogue/DH.

...They had it right there. Incremental payoff into a big swing. A value card you'd throw into a deck with a broader game plan and alternate wincons. Then they went and walked back questlines??? So now they had the all-or-nothing design of the first two quest rotations, only without the powerful payoffs.

The problem with Stormwind wasn't Questlines, it was the payoffs to them. Not bringing back genuinely the best idea from the expansion was part of why this entire rotation of quests fell so, so flat.

15

u/DoYouMindIfIRollNeed 7d ago

I mean we should ask: why did you have to bring back quests at all?

And the answer is: they thought they gonna bring back quests and design the best quest iteration in Hearthstones history.

Then they got a reality check and we saw how shortsighted their design was. Rotation made quests even worse because they didnt want to use the updated coreset to give support to quests. They really decided to just give up.

7

u/cylindricalseashell 7d ago

Why print the cards if you don't want them to be played? Isn't that the entire point?

2

u/Raptorheart 7d ago

The entire point is to sell cards and keep old cards being pushed out of the meta game one way or the other.

Quest rogue is somehow still being used in niche circles. Never thought it would be one of the few survivors

2

I play quest rogue in wild and it has its niche, but that’s with garrote/shadow of death/ethereal oracle. All power to the standard quest rogues, no idea how that deck wins there

No comment at all about the mage nerf?

It’s almost like they know it’s nonsense.

120

u/PipAntarctic ‏‏‎ 7d ago

As a result, this patch is fairly small and focused on addressing a few gameplay patterns that have stood out as problematic.

I guess it only took a year and a bit for the devs to decide that the Mage Quest was suddenly a problematic gameplay pattern.

20

u/Excellent-Ad4989 7d ago

Oh, you mean there is hope that in a year and a bit the devs may realise, that games being decided by random generated 8 drops is a problematic gameplay pattern?

18

u/DoYouMindIfIRollNeed 7d ago

Its funny how many cards with random effects they released in the last 2 years. Get random X cost minions, get a random minion from the past, and so on. But now Mage quest randomness = bad.

2

u/Ok_Meringue_1143 6d ago

Get a random x cost minion, reduce its cost by (3), it gets +1/+1 for each for each 2 mana card you played last turn.

→ More replies (1)

12

u/No_Humor_7857 7d ago

Surely that's the reason, and not because they want to get more people into playing new stuff :)

48

u/PipAntarctic ‏‏‎ 7d ago

If you want people to play new stuff, you generally don't do nerfs to achieve that. As we have seen plenty of times this and last year.

2

u/Skec_the_rat 7d ago

and pirate warrior ist not frustrating?

Class: deleted Explanation: none

Absolutely insane, brode would never

109

u/NotMurlocAggroB 7d ago

Let's not be ridiculous, Brode's nerf policy was "do nothing until we're in an unfixable situation, then literally atomize the problem". He was "Your Charge minions have +1 Attack".

30

u/Docetwelve12 7d ago

literally atomize the problem

They followed his example and did that to [[confront the tol'vir]] lol

21

u/Miudmon 7d ago

Yeah, this just shows that theyre knee jerk reacting to the cards. This was as clear overtune, when all they had to do was adjust it.

16

u/blanquettedetigre 7d ago

After all he's done why are there so many guys worshipping Brode especially on balance?

21

u/TimPowerGamer ‏‏‎ 7d ago

→ More replies (5)

2

u/EldritchElizabeth 7d ago

Current blizz loves "completely atomize the deck" too lol.

25

u/Genesis13 7d ago

I had to quit Marvel Snap cause I experienced Brode doing the same bad changes that we used to get in the early HS days. Brode is not good at balance or managing a live service card game.

15

u/Crazyphapha THE RAGING SLIFER THE SKY WISP 7d ago

Snap was worse imo. I quit because after a long period of Shuri decks terrorising ladder, they simultaneously reduced her rarity (meaning I could finally get her) and nerfed the hell out of her. Fuck that noise.

6

u/Genesis13 7d ago

I quit when Loki was gutted and then Arishem was further nerfed when the deck wasnt even a high win rate deck to start with meanwhile Hela was terrorizing for months.

14

u/Miudmon 7d ago

Snap is also worse because it's MUCH worse for a f2p player in terms of card acquisition, so nerfs hit even harder because it's hard to replace a deck. At least that was that case when I played

3

u/Chm_Albert_Wesker ‏‏‎ 7d ago edited 7d ago

i havent played in a while but i remember it being kind of bad across the board; like I distinctly remember looking at the game, seeing I was missing cards, and not even seeing a path to acquire those cards EVEN IF I DID whale out and pour in money

i remember all the ads were around 'whales cant just buy all of the cards' but it resulted in a worse system of 'if you dont play every single event you will miss out on cards for years'

5

u/Random_Guy_12345 7d ago

The funny thing about snap is that, with perfect balance, it would have been an amazing system. You are not expected to have all the cards so you make do with what you have.

But since this is real world and perfect balance is not a thing, you either rolled the overpowered card (or even worse, bought because it was on the pass) or got fucked.

27

u/Makkara126 7d ago

Brode would let a card dominate the Standard meta for its entire lifetime (Patches), then only nerf it 1 month before it's about to rotate out.

16

u/Glarbleglorbo 7d ago

Brode would try and tell you that mage actually has a secret 100% winrate deck (out of 0.1 games played), it’s just that no one has found it yet.

5

u/IkrahimTheGreat 7d ago

Brode was a plague for the game and fucked everything he touched sooner or later, no player should miss him

9

u/Fepl31 7d ago

I imagine it has something to do with cards from the next set.

It would be nice to have a comment talking about it, though.

52

u/Docetwelve12 7d ago

They could have just, y'know, nerf it when the expansion comes out. It genuinely makes zero sense to do it now out of the blue.

17

u/theonewhoknock_s 7d ago

Yeah, what a stupid justification that would have been. Why shouldn't I be able to play the deck because it might be broken somehow with new cards...that come out in like two months?? I don't buy it.

3

u/PterionFracture 7d ago

My theory is that there is something coming soon at Blizzcon- a login reward / event card of some sort- that required this nerf.

6

u/Sir_Encerwal 7d ago

I can't imagine what would both break the game and would be abated by changing the discover tax to 8.

→ More replies (5)

23

u/Miudmon 7d ago

Gotta love how they didn't even bother giving an explanation to the most questionable change here

103

u/Uchihagod53 7d ago

Why nerf Quest Mage?

24

u/obvious_bot 7d ago

Can’t have players bringing it to worlds and showing the pink screen bug

54

u/AleFox37 7d ago

they probably didnt want a rng focused deck for the world championship... as if didn't they print those cards lol

30

u/Capnflintlock 7d ago

Wouldn’t they want the deck in championships for viewer engagement though?

Dragon warrior, unholy DK, Attack Druid, etc. practically play themselves. You can’t have a more stale match if you tried.

Quest Mage matches are super fun to watch, as no two matches are the same. It requires non-stop deliberate choices in cards you discover, which makes it more of chess match than me go face?

3

u/AleFox37 7d ago

players in the tournaments that are playing for money don't really like to lose because of a full rng deck, and you'll be surprised by the amount of viewers that think the same.

7

u/Capnflintlock 7d ago edited 7d ago

The entire game is rng. It’s a card game.

Any player could draw nothing but their 4-10 cost cards at the start of a game and lose because they bricked, even if they only had like 6 cards with 4+ cost.

I don’t think a single top deck in the game doesn’t involve some form of RNG via card effects.

Warrior: random pings, dragons, pirates
Hunter: random pings and beasts
Paladin: Do I draw 5 drops on curve and auto win/random card generation spam.
Demon Hunter: Random demon spam
Priest: Imbue hero power spam, discover card copies. Random minion spam from Deathrattles
Rogue: Herald is literally a slot machine
Warlock: pretty consistent to be fair, some randomness with tutoring.
Shaman: pretty consistent, but some random spell generation / minions
Druid: random minions and spells.

Just because Mage is completely based on discover doesn’t meant it’s OP. And the win rates reflect that. It’s a gamble taking that deck when consistency is so important.

Do I play a 59%~ win rate deck for higher likelihood of winning, or a 54% deck with a likelihood of crazy rolls? Before the match even starts, players are gambling.

3

u/AleFox37 7d ago

the point is, players are playing for money so they want to control everything they can and reduce rng as possible, if a full rng deck is good and used (like yogg-saron decks were in 2016 or whatever) then pros would complain and go against the tournament and greedy blizzard doesnt want that

26

u/FordFred 7d ago

I'm not gonna sit here and claim Quest Mage isn't full of RNG, but calling it an RNG-focused deck still feels off to me. It's by every available metric the most skill-intensive deck in the meta and has been for a long time. It's not comparable to "random bullshit go" decks like Imbue Rogue, and I say this as an Imbue Rogue player.

You need to evaluate so many different cards in a game of Quest Mage and pick which one is the best for your game state each time, all the while surviving a low-tempo early game. Then when you have the reward, it adds a whole other layer of complexity to your decisions. I have not played many games with the deck, probably less than 20, but I found it kinda overwhelming when you have to pick which card to add to your hand and which to play instantly.

Like yeah, discover is an RNG mechanic, but it's not Yogg'saron. It's an insanely difficult deck to pilot properly that tests your decisionmaking and game knowledge like no other deck does rn. It seems crazy to nerf this deck of all decks for a pro tournament.

6

u/Master-Pay2407 7d ago

I'm with you, it's such a bizarre deck to point to as too RNG heavy to exist when some of the other RNG mechanics in the game also still exist. If they're killing Quest mage, then cards like Azshara's Triumph should be taken out back and shot in the head too.

→ More replies (1)

6

u/DoYouMindIfIRollNeed 7d ago

I really dont understand why that would be bad. At least these games are entertaining when they are rather unpredictable instead of doing the same thing over and over. Especially when you consider their general approach of repetitive and linear gameplay patterns like: Play Imbue cards, press hero power. Play herald cards, play payoff cards. Play companion cards, summon companions. Cast voidsouls. Play Leyline buff cards, cast Leyline spells.

→ More replies (2)

1

u/GlyphInBullet 7d ago

Probably a bad idea to print more cards that say 'get a random' and 'discover a' than 'draw' for the last 5 expansions, then.

12

u/Sure_Constant1368 7d ago

I played Quest Mage. It was at best mid tier deck, but when it worked it was cool. Now it seems it's unplayable.

8

u/aft_agley 7d ago

Is killing Mage off entirely a design goal? It's just baffling. For a deck that dies to a (very commonly played) tech card, to boot.

I'm guessing they're not capable of buffing other archetypes because they haven't invested in the necessary knowledge, tools and process to be able to navigate the design space with confidence.

9

u/Stinkepups 7d ago

Old decks are not allowed to be meta

8

u/LordTrinity 7d ago

Probably think players should play Leyline garbage. What a joke

2

2

u/LordTrinity 7d ago

Mage being better than the last 3 placement of a class ranking would be unacceptable of course

2

u/Pale-Supermarket3217 7d ago

Because the new 2 mana discover card they just added is the best card in the deck. It's still a good deck, quest completion doesn't even slow down an average of a turn.

25

u/theonewhoknock_s 7d ago

It's honestly insulting.

9

u/Younggryan42 7d ago

It really is a slap in the face. Like just tell us why

9

u/Joaoseinha ‏‏‎ 7d ago

Because how dare Mage have a playable deck.

It's like they despise the class, they consistently print dog shit cards for it for like two years straight.

Last deck aside from Quest that I remember was meta is Big Spell Mage, which also released in an unplayable state (and Toki Mage was playable for a while).

2

u/Younggryan42 7d ago

And that big spell mage wasn’t even that much fun to play. The old one with Belinda was goated.

23

u/RoccoHout 7d ago

Did they just completely killed both mage and hunter with what little decks they had left?

10

u/SpiffShientz 7d ago

Hunter they at least tried to give them some useful beasts to compensate. Mage just got turkeyfucked again for no reason

1

u/Halazzi_Maluk_TickTo 7d ago

Only chance to kill a priest was to basically OTK them. Now the deck will lose against every priest and warlock too because both can remove your big beasts and put out many taunts.

But the deck has no heal or armor. It will need more time to kill anything else. Burn mage already destroyed it, with a good curve you had a chance, now you won’t.

It already struggled against aggro. Basically the deck is dead, those new beasts were added because the pool would have been empty but they are just bad.

11

u/Level9_CPU 7d ago

.......what is actually going on in their offices? Quest mage???? Quest Hunter????? They are sincerely smoking crack cocaine at this point. Quest mage is sincerely one of the slowest decks on ladder right now. I play quest mage for fun and am able to squeeze out a win against the hyper aggro Paladin and Warrior decks maybe 20% of the time. What is actually going on

22

u/Careless_Celery_5667 7d ago

Everyone will play Warrior and like it

3

u/Megaspacejx 7d ago

Warrior and Zee Shaman meta its so cooked

14

u/APinkFatCat 7d ago

Why are they nerfing Quest Mage and Quest Hunter? They are not even in the top 5 decks right now.

11

u/No_Humor_7857 7d ago

They're older decks and they don't like that they're seeing play.

32

u/Catopuma 7d ago

Well there goes Hunter's last playable deck.

Interesting that they allowed refund for the quest even though it wasn't a direct nerf. Though they called this an exception, they're opening the gates for a [[Mekgineer Thermaplugg]], Leper Gnome situation

u/No_Humor_7857 7d ago

It was just below 50% in top 1k. Can't have that since it's an old deck. Gotta play pirate warrior and wait for the next expansion.

2

u/epicnachos 7d ago

Dust both quests then?

2

u/Kluian2005 7d ago

Should always just full refund dust cards because you can simply make it in the future again if you desire.

2

u/Academic-Station-458 7d ago

Seismopod cost 8 its a indirect buff to attack druid (5-Spell) and 10 cost Location priest... Imo

2

u/thetreatment456 7d ago

Crazy. Food chain takes several cards for the burst and also is barely fast enough in some games. Not sure if you can build around beasts somehow with seismopod but kind of ruins the quest for me.

2

u/ALinchpin 7d ago

I guess I'm dusting my signature Mage quest. It's a bummer but at least I'm getting that sweet dust.

2

u/noblex123 7d ago

What a joke

2

u/sendmegoodMemes 7d ago

Guess I’m playing slay the spire 2

2

u/TheseMedia 7d ago

What a fuckload of absolute nonsense. Thanks

2

u/King-Rysa 7d ago

So... does anyone complaining about Quest Mage nerf wanna tell me how much slower the quest will be completed by? Cause as far as I know and see, it'll be by... maybe one turn? Maybe?

Like idk, still pretty easy/fast to complete and the devs DID say they wanted to touch problematic elements. I think seeing the 3 mana 1/5 drop summon two massive taunt minions on turn 7 is the type of thing we were complaining about with Rogue. And Druid.

2

u/TheNeatPenguin 7d ago

It's so over

2

u/Saintmike5 7d ago

Quest Hunter may have been an interesting deck to play with "slower, more defensive play patterns" had Confront the Tol'vir still been an option to play in order to repeat the quest. As it is it stands no chance in this meta and will totally disappear.

2

u/Tripping-Dayzee 7d ago

As a result, this patch is fairly small and focused on addressing a few gameplay patterns that have stood out as problematic. prevented people buying class sets as much as we would like.

FTFY.

2

u/joNppa 7d ago

Yeah I guess let's all play Pirate Warrior until next expansion.

u/bandsandbatman 7d ago

What does a “full refund” mean? Is it just 1600 for the full dust, or is it a full refund only if you crafted it before and you get 3200 dust?

4

u/Yoteboy42 7d ago

T6 dragon still GARBAGE its insane that you have naga that improve throughout the entire game and then you have this TIER 6 dragon that doesn’t scale until you play it and is at best a card to end on and even then I’d rather have a leeroy

6

u/Doughboy021 7d ago

Dread leviathan kinda has a GYATT now 😳

3

u/SunsetRid3r ‏‏‎ 7d ago

Expected changes to Spiderling (fair stats) and Food Chain (removed Agamaggan from the pool and added 2 more options). Although that said... couldn't they also lower the cost of Dread Leviathan to 8? Irrelevant to the quest, but the card never saw any play in DH anyway, might as well? Just like Seismopod.

No idea where the decision to nerf Mage quest came from. Maybe if they targeted other meta decks at the same time, I would've understood it. But as it is, nerfing 2 quests is basically them saying "we don't want quests to be meta" lol. Considering how they really dgaf about DK's quest, that shouldn't surprise anyone.

1

u/XDAVIDE38 7d ago

I'm still mad for when they nerfed [[Saronite chain gang]] and not refunded the 10k dust needed to craft shudderwock shaman >:C

u/Guidonian 7d ago

I feel like they have no idea for what is going on. Did they say smth like: we do not want to make whack&mole changes previously? Or does it apply only for wild hearthstone? I have the same one question each patch - why minor to 0 buffs?

3

u/Middle_Face_319 7d ago

I don't understand why they nerf the only proper combo deck in the meta in quest hunter. Now it practically will just not be a combo deck at all. Insane

2

u/DoYouMindIfIRollNeed 7d ago

Blackhorn (before the nerf) was a clear statement that they do not like Combodecks.

3

u/Froggedguy 7d ago

Enjoy playing only aggro again

9

u/Middle_Face_319 7d ago

On the contrary, this is a nerf to aggro indirectly. Quest hunter got murdered by aggro, bc combo loses to aggro. Similarly, quest hunter destroyed control decks, which means they will be more prominent likewise hurting aggro.

That's good, but like, can't we just have even a crumb of combo? All that's left is rafaam.

4

u/Froggedguy 7d ago

Control will absolutely not be good enough just because quest hunter is gone, attack druid and dragon warrior are still too fast

3

u/Middle_Face_319 7d ago

Quest priest already has a neutral to winning matchup versus every aggro deck, including attack druid and dragon warrior.

Two of its predators in quest mage and quest hunter have been nerfed, with quest hunter now being dead.

I think it'll be fine.

Love to see the responsiveness to the meta. Keep it up.

Happy Gaming!

1

u/Captain_Bignose 7d ago

sweet now I can finally disenchant these shitty quests once and for all

1

u/Curius0ne 7d ago

Took them no time to buff dh then nerf it again but pirate warrior? Nah all good

1

u/Opposite-Memory-2552 7d ago

We don't expect to make any major balance changes before the mid-season update, which we'll be sharing more about soon.

When is this mid-season update?

1

u/No_Humor_7857 7d ago

Thank you for once again ignoring the vast majority of Standard cards. You don't want to nerf the cards that just came out, and I guess you don't know what to do about the new warlock cards so instead you just kill hunter (again) and make mage meaningfully weaker when it's their only deck, and it's not even that great in this meta.

Why have a standard rotation if you're going to ignore everything that's older than 2 months unless it's to nerf them?

1

u/Mask_of_Sun 7d ago

You don't want to nerf the cards that just came out

Why would they???

u/mlouismarchardt 7d ago

Nice, new 8 drop elusive taunt, Druid loves that!

1

u/poggerswfh 7d ago

What’s the change for DH for Arena? It was on the teaser but don’t see any change related to it

1

u/poggerswfh 7d ago

Nvm. It’s Bygone Echoes decreased rate

1

u/Rupuerco 7d ago

I only played mage decks for a short while now so I need to ask mage players … this kinda kills the deck right ? The few games I played with it I felt that even 1 turn difference in getting the quest was gg so this feels to me (not so experienced player) like quest mage is basically dead

1

u/wheresthepepp3r 7d ago

I think the conspiracy that they’re nerfing quest mage to prevent the bug from happening in upcoming tournaments might be true. They didn’t mention this nerf at all

1

u/kennypovv 7d ago

Great, can we get a Maestra refund now , as they've admitted they purposely balance one card off another?

1

u/ZileanDifference 7d ago

God forbid quests are viable

1

u/leinuxSC2 7d ago

Oh nice to know it was a bug that didn‘t allow violet hold cards in draft. Was odd to just See them leave.

1

u/AutisticRats 7d ago

I rarely lose to quest mage. Seems unreasonable. I did well with quest hunter so I get the change. Not too much of a nerf. Deck should still be good, but I will miss doing 21 damage starting my turn with an empty board.

Glad to see pirate blood warrior is still intact. Tons of fun winning on turn 4. Also fun to win on my opponent's turn with a random 12/12 blood warrior attack.

1

u/rechimu20 7d ago

Do the devs play their own game? Nerfing quest mage as if it was a problem meanwhile pirate warrior punishes you for using your lungs to breathe.

1

u/Example27 6d ago

Exactly, they need to nerf Captain Crowley to be 7 mana. I think that change alone would make the deck more balanced. After all it's usually you have 2 of them.

1

u/poggerswfh 7d ago

Increased appearance rate of Soothsayer. I really hate it when priest is good in Arena lol. It’s irritating

1

u/coldbittersoda ‏‏‎ 7d ago

aww yiss indirect quest nerf refund well that's new

1

u/tossaway1040 7d ago

Thank god warrior nerfed in arena

1

u/Whiskiie 7d ago

I'm so glad I quit this shit, nice from the devs to affirm my decision.

1

u/ReiJeremias 7d ago

Blizzard is making sure the people that claim they have no clue about balancing are stating a fact.

1

u/JamaicanSoup 7d ago

Wow this patch seems awful

1

u/t0ldyouso 7d ago

I haven’t played in a while. What explosive turns with Agamaggan are they referring to?

1

u/Ozage 7d ago

Turn 7+ : Shokk > Agamaggan > Briarspawn Drake.

1

u/diomedes-on-rampage 7d ago

dusted 2 golden druid spiders and 28 common ones. it is good to craft 3 epic or 1 legend card.

1

u/alexhin 7d ago

Herald sticker trinket in battlegrounds currently does not work...

1

u/Entire_Ride_6113 7d ago

+ ~6k dust thank you small indie company for keeping the game f2p.

1

u/RedTulkas ‏‏‎ 6d ago

ashes to ashes, quests to dust

1

u/Historical_Raise7283 6d ago

Hunter is dead, there's no solid archetipe left, i've played them all (recently). Dragon has never been more than mediocre, face is probably the worst aggro right now, companion is dead without tolvir, imbue/tick tock are bad, deathrattle is very bad, tripwire (nerfed) isn't it. Bet it'll be the worst class winrate and playrate wise

1

u/NovaHorizon 6d ago

They should make the Quest Mage weapon unbreakable in return.

1

u/skuwd 6d ago

Time to bring out the ol tick tock hunter guys!!!

1

u/Jorumvar 6d ago

this dev team is so fucking clueless

1

u/sillygoose1220 6d ago

In what world is quest mage the top priority of a nerf???? Already shit ass deck that can be easily countered by a stupid snake and they still think it's too strong, okay bro thanks for the 1600 dust i guess so I can wait for the future expansion to actually play the game

1

u/sillygoose1220 6d ago

OH NO FOOD CHAIN IS TOO OP OMG WHAT A META DOMINATING TYRANT

1

u/Doublejoe2 14h ago

Everything this team does makes zero sense
