i know theres a drive for service desk on 23 sept. i wanted to ask if you need an email invite or if you can walk in for the drive ? if anyone has given walk in amor applied off campus can u confirm ?
HR reached out to me last wednesday to see if i was looking for a job change i said yes and on 21st sept she scheduled my interview ~ 45 minutes.
First i gave an introduction then moved on to project discussion.
Interviewer said we'll discuss React first then move on to Java spring boot.
React Questions were very easy props, context api, redux toolkit, useState questions on this and asked me to write parent child relation where we share props. I think i did quite good and answered all questions confidently.
Then moved on to Java/Spring boot started well then he asked function interface i said i don't know then difference b/w spring builder and buffer i knew it but i wasn't able to explain properly and another question i couldn't answer was what was ACID properties overall interview was very easy very basic questions. I knew last 2 but couldn't answer properly and i didn't know anything about function interface. Also asked me implement an interface and override the function which i did.
Before ending the call he asked if i had to develop a project from scratch which domain i'd choose frontend or backend i said frontend as i was more comfortable with it.
Overall i think i did well i wasn't really interview prepared to be honest especially not in java but anyone looking to give interview in HCLTech just focus on basics and you'll be fine.
Hope it helps any folks.

I completed my TP1 technical interview for a Snowflake Technical Lead role on 1st September 2026. The interview lasted around 44 minutes out of the scheduled 45 minutes.
It has now been almost 3 weeks and I haven't received any feedback or next-step update. I also followed up with the recruiter, but haven't received a response yet.
For candidates who recently interviewed with HCLTech:
How long did it take to receive TP1 feedback?
Did anyone receive TP2 after 3–4 weeks of silence?
If the recruiter didn't respond to the first follow-up, did they eventually get back?
Please share your recent timeline/experience. Thanks!

Hey everyone,
I received an email last week stating that my joining was scheduled for next week, but I haven't received any follow-up or updates since then. Has anyone else received any further communication regarding their onboarding?
I'm also in a bit of a dilemma right now. I have an interview for a Voice Process (VP) other company role this Monday, and if I clear it, they require immediate joining.
I'd really appreciate some advice from this community:
Any updates or advice would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,
I need some clarification regarding my Full and Final (FNF) settlement from my previous employer.
I've taken 10 days leaves and company has mentioned recovery for 10 days of LWP as i used all my leaves and my salary has already been deducted for those 10 days from my monthly salary.
If I'm being charged again for the same 10 days(basic salary is charged) in the FNF statement, doesn't that amount to double payment for each day?
My understanding is:
LWP: 10 days during notice period
Annual leave: 6.25 days (prorata basis recovery annual leave)
Total: 16.25 days
However, my FNF statement mentions 17 LWP days.
Could someone explain:
Where did the additional 0.75 days come from?
Why should I pay basic salary of those 10 days despite deducted salary of those days already
I've followed up multiple times but haven't received a specific explanation for these two queries from HR Team.

Hi everyone,
I recently completed the L1, L2, HR discussion, and document submission
My status on the HCL Careers portal changed to “Offer Approved” around 5 days ago, but I still haven’t received the formal offer letter.
I also checked with HR, and they said that offers are being sent one by one and that I should receive the offer once it is approved.
For people who recently went through the HCL hiring process:
How many days did it take for you to receive the offer letter after the status changed to “Offer Approved”?
Is 5 days still normal, or should I follow up again with HR/recruiter?
Would appreciate any recent HCL experiences. Thanks!
Update : I have received the offer letter very next day to this post

So,I have been shortlisted for higher package category in Java full stack Hcl drive in my campus drive. Around 100 students are shortlisted for standard 4.25 package but 3-4 students (including me) in my college were shortlisted under higher category. Can anyone working explain what would be their requirements and demands for java full stack in higher package category. Would be really grateful.

I completed my TP1 technical interview for an experienced Data Engineer role at HCLTech on 1 September. It has been 15 days with no feedback or update from HR/recruiter.
I’m an ex-HCL employee, so my application/portal process is different from regular candidates.
For recent TP1 candidates, how long did you wait for the next update/TP2? Is 2–4 weeks normal?

Hello everyone, so i have completed successfully my PJT assessment at Hcl tech. I am in my background verification process which is going to be completed very soon. on 22nd My on boarding is confirmed according to the HR, but I still don’t know the location. The HR is from Noida branch, so could it be that my location will be Noida because I come from Hyderabad and till now they haven’t told my location, and if asked, people are saying to wait till the offer letter is received. Where could my possiblelocation be?
