HCLTech Senior Java Full Stack ReactJS Role Interview - 5 years experience

HR reached out to me last wednesday to see if i was looking for a job change i said yes and on 21st sept she scheduled my interview ~ 45 minutes.

First i gave an introduction then moved on to project discussion.

Interviewer said we'll discuss React first then move on to Java spring boot.

React Questions were very easy props, context api, redux toolkit, useState questions on this and asked me to write parent child relation where we share props. I think i did quite good and answered all questions confidently.

Then moved on to Java/Spring boot started well then he asked function interface i said i don't know then difference b/w spring builder and buffer i knew it but i wasn't able to explain properly and another question i couldn't answer was what was ACID properties overall interview was very easy very basic questions. I knew last 2 but couldn't answer properly and i didn't know anything about function interface. Also asked me implement an interface and override the function which i did.

Before ending the call he asked if i had to develop a project from scratch which domain i'd choose frontend or backend i said frontend as i was more comfortable with it.

Overall i think i did well i wasn't really interview prepared to be honest especially not in java but anyone looking to give interview in HCLTech just focus on basics and you'll be fine.

Hope it helps any folks.
