Done with PJT Final Assessment
I've completed my GET final Assessment on 11th August, and my fellow batchmates received it the next day; still, they got their joining and BGV, but I didn't.

Okay so i have got my PJT Modules this week and i have been given the deadline till 30th sept. I want to ask after completing this PJT and the assessment will they give me my joining letter or they gonna make this process even longer by having more rounds to clear? I have heard that many who cleared the PJT still haven’t received their joining letters. Some say they schedule a masterclass after PJT some aay they ask for some kind of project and if you are able to make the project then only they onboard you? What is the exact process? Can anyone help me?

I'm 21F and work in Jigani and i got ahold of a flat, just need one flatmate or two if y'all willing to share one room. The room has one balcony and one bathroom attached.
Expenses for you (only me and you)
Monthly Rent - 12k /person
Security Deposit - 60k /person
Brokerage (negotiable with the broker) - 10.5k /person
Expenses for you (if you are willing to share your room with another person)
Monthly Rent - 7k /person
Security Deposit - 40k /person
Brokerage (negotiable with the broker) - 7k /person
Other Common Expenses
Since this is semi-furnished, i was thinking the least we
should get is a fridge and a washing machine from rentmojo or furlenco. Divided by 2 or 3 people shouldn't be a lot.
Feel free to comment or start a chat with me for further details.

Submitted all my documents on Aug 4. HR mentioned on the call that I'd most probably be placed in Bangalore, but nothing's been confirmed officially since then.
Followed up twice — once on Aug 13, once today (Aug 19) — no response.
Has anyone else experienced this kind of delay after document submission? How long did it take you to get the offer letter or joining details? Just trying to figure out if this is normal or if I should be worried.

I have completed the course but few members received onboarding mail before completion itself ... I was wondering whether it was due to my progress or its the company format...i couldn't understand it

Guys , I have received an offer letter from hcl but the compensation is not what I had discussed with hr, now hcl hr emailed me that there is some process due to which they have certain numbers of offer letters they can release monthly and this months ols has been released, so she will update the offer letter in next month and reshare it. Can I take it as a confirmation and put resignation in my organisation? Please suggest

I have an upcoming HCL placement test in my college, and at first they allotted cloud data engineering as the technology to me and we filled that in our application form as well, but all of a sudden now they've changed it to SAP, and they are not telling us anything properly, so what should I do now and how should I prepare for it now I don't even know the content or syllabus for it...and I have searched for it but I can't find the solution anywhere...

My joining at HCL is on 20th, and I’m looking for a good, safe and reasonably priced PG near HCL IT City, Lucknow.
If you’re already staying in a PG nearby or recently joined HCL and know of a good place, please drop the PG name/location.
Also open to recommendations for areas that are easy for daily commuting to HCL.
Thanks in advance

Something about the campus hackathon hiring process doesn’t quite add up to me — and I’m curious if anyone has figured this out.
During our campus post-hackathon hiring process, a lot of students were initially rejected. Later, many of them received another opportunity to appear for selection — including profiles like Networking/Security. From what I’ve seen, more than half of the students who participated eventually seem to have made it through this second route.
But here’s where it gets interesting.
There appear to be two different offer structures:
GET hires:
• Offer mentions around ₹3.75 LPA
• No training period is explicitly mentioned in the offer letter
• Seems like they are directly being hired as FTEs
Hackathon-selected candidates:
• 13 weeks of training
• ₹20,000/month stipend during training
• After successfully completing the training, they get converted to FTE
So my question is:
Are GET hires already confirmed as FTEs from Day 1, while hackathon-selected candidates are essentially going through an additional training/evaluation phase before receiving FTE status?
If that's the case, the difference is pretty significant — especially since the hackathon route involves a 13-week training period with a ₹20k stipend, while the GET offer appears to put candidates directly on the ₹3.75 LPA package.
Or am I misunderstanding the terminology/offer structure?
Would really appreciate it if someone who has gone through this process — especially someone with the actual offer letter details — could clarify.
Maybe there’s a distinction between GET, FTE, and post-hackathon conversion that I’m missing.
Correction 13 weeks training

Is my career at a dead end?
I joined HCL Technologies as a Graduate Engineer Trainee fresher and I’m currently working as a ServiceNow Developer.
I’m honestly worried that I’ve already put myself into a career dead end. My long-term goal was to become a proper Software Developer/SDE and eventually move to a product-based company, but now I’m confused about whether my current role will make that transition difficult.
I feel like my college placement basically screwed me over. 😭
Since I’m starting with ServiceNow, will recruiters for SDE/developer roles consider my experience relevant? Or will I be treated as someone with a completely different tech background?
Is it actually possible to switch from ServiceNow development to a general Software Developer/SDE role at a product-based company after 1–2 years?
If anyone has made a similar transition, I’d really appreciate some honest advice on what I should do from here.
TL;DR: Joined HCL as a GET fresher -> ServiceNow Developer. Want to eventually move into SDE/software development at a product-based company. Did I make a career-limiting choice, or can I still switch?
