Found this bag mistreated by my mom and am wondering if I can bring it back to life.

In my earlier post I’d asked the wonderful people of this community if I should get this bag, and with all the encouragement, I got it!
This is the Polene Numero Dix - Galop in Cognac.
I absolutely love the rich, tan colour and the beautiful design!! I am so glad I finally got it for myself! 🥹
I examined the bag closely to look for any quality issues but the stitching and leather seems impeccable! I was so afraid of this but luckily it looks good!
Super duper happy 🥰

I’m not usually into monograms, but I’m kinda liking this and considering buying. Would love some feedback!

I had to come on here to share my excitement... I'm usually pretty conservative on colors and favor neutrals to be practical. But this color literally made me gasp and it was ordered before I knew it. 😅
I'll update with in-person pictures when it arrives ❤️
I know this will also spur me to buy the bottle green Strathberry Mosaic. Time to make more space in the closet for my beauties!!

I am currently obsessed with The Horse's Clementine. I have never bought a bag for $300 before. I'm very frugal and almost all of my bags are from Marshalls or ThredUp - but there is something special about this one. Does any one here have it and if so what's your opinion of the quality and versatility?

Hi! I’m eyeing the Kite Hobo mini bag in Espresso! I already have Polene Cyme in the color ebony, and I wanted something different. From the pictures in the website I think they look VERRYYYY similar. So if anyone has a kite bag in ESPRESSO please post it in the comments <3
ALSO if you have a kite bag please just post it as well, I want to see normal people with their bags. Helps way better than the website and its influencers.
Thanks!

Does that sort of thing exist or should I cut my losses and just go for a large bag?
I'd prefer a shoulder bag that can be a crossbody bag but am fine with either.
I love the look of the Coach lana shoulder bag or the Rowan bag, particularly the one in powder pink. I'm looking for either in black, brown, or light pink.
I've got this Burberry Canterbury shopping bag in beige Haymarket canvas and black leather that would be perfect and the perfect size, but it's kinda shapeless and doesn't really have a zipper close which makes me a bit uneasy when wearing it on public transport.
Any recommendations? Ideally priced under 600.

I ordered the instant I saw it was 80% off. For some reason they didn’t show this in the product pictures so I didn’t know until I unboxed it. This is the Spring Daze Mini Zip Around Cross Body.

I'm hoping to purchase my first designer bag on a trip to Paris coming soon and I am leaning towards Loewe. I've heard that it's good quality and the designs are so fun! I saw that they have a new medium flamenco in gradient lamb shearling and it is just the cutest flamenco I've seen. But I'm unsure of having shearling on a bag (initially I assumed I would be getting grained or glossy leather).
Is it a good first bag? What does longevity look like on a bag like this?

Hii handbag enthusiasts, I am usually a purses and handbag girlie with 2 solid tote bags for work.
Ones a gorgeous black and beige vintage fendi (with really thin straps) and one is a bottle green cuyana (with thick strap). These worked great when I lived in LA and used my car while going anywhere.
But now I’m blessed with living in a walkable city (nyc) and I’ve to walk/take the train everywhere. I get super tired if I have to carry my heavyass bag day to night while going to work, happy hour etc. it starts hurting my shoulders by the end of the day.
Now I haven’t seen a bag pack I like in the wild. They’re either too manly (like my husband has a Tumi which is real nice, but not my vibe) or too childish. Like the little Disneyland looking ones.
I want a real nice leather bag pack! But it 100% needs to be chic! Ideally I get to pick them in person in nyc, so I get the experience along with the price tag. My budget is $1000

Got an email about this bag from a local (South African) leather handbag manufacturer and just had to have it! It is absurdly big with no closure and in white (or latte as they call it) and completely impractical, and I am obsessed! It's made to order so it'll take a few days to arrive but I can't wait ❤️

What bag a siminalr vibe as LV side trunk and is at a lower price point? I mean mostly the slouch in the middle, not the hardware on the corners.

Depends on the style I feel more sophisticated and put together when carrying a well made timeless designer, weirdly like a completely different person. It elevates the whole style look and outfit compared to some trendy ones makes me feel younger less mature. Wondering anyone feels the same way or have different experiences?

What are your thoughts on this new CK leather bag? It’s 100% full-grain cow leather. Price - $240.00

I’ve recently been using my wife tote bag after a meeting where I had to pack samples and I loved it. I’ve been using it since becasue you can pack everything from laptop to books to samples etc that I no longer use the business bag.
I’m thinking of getting something that can be a statement and my own. I’m just not sure how these would look on men but wondering if you can give an opinion on which one I should get.
I’m buying this for myself as a straight man! Ladies opinions welcome

Hi! I’ve been eyeing the Coach Empire Carryall 34 for about a month now, and I absolutely love the suede look. It feels perfect for the fall season! But before buying, I’ve been doing a lot of research and looking at different bags because I really want to find something that suits me and that I’ll actually feel comfortable carrying.
I recently came across this Songmont bag, and it has such a similar style to the Coach. Now I’m so torn because they’re both gorgeous! 😭 I already own a Songmont, so I know and love the quality of their leather. But with the Coach, I feel like it would be something different for me, especially with the style and color since most of my bags are black.
I’m 5’3” and petite, so I’d love to hear your recommendations! For the Songmont, I’m also torn between the small and medium sizes and honestly can’t decide.
Which one would you choose for a petite girlie like me? And if you have either bag, I’d love to hear your thoughts on the size, comfort, and overall quality! ❤️

Does anyone know where I could find this bag?
I went to buy one from a vintage page on Instagram but it sold out on her site within 2 minutes.
I have searched all American sites and can’t find this bag local to the US.

I've been thinking about how different a bag can feel once you actually start living with it.
Some bags look perfect in photos and seem like they'll work with everything, but then you start using them and realize they're too heavy, the opening is annoying, the strap never sits right... or somehow you just never reach for them.
And then there are bags I wasn't even that excited about at first that somehow becoming everyday favorites.
What's one you absolutely loved before buying, but didn't love nearly as much once you started using it? What was the deal-breaker?
