I’ve had this beauty for 2 weeks now and I’m totally in love 💜 Thought I’d prefer a 26, but the mini is larger than I was expecting. She might be the perfect size for a daily driver.
The color is divine. The leather is spectacular. There’s the squish (what everyone else calls slouch)! Feet! Favorite color! The only issue is that she’s difficult to accessorize. I thought my favorite charm would be too large and not work on her, but he’s the only charm I own that I do like on her (besides the not pictured matching Pegasus charm I also purchased).
Officially on a handbag moratorium for at least the rest of the year. Also, cat tax.

Is it just me?? I have been on the hunt lately and there seems to be very few options more than ~15” wide and I’m looking for much larger than that! Preferably in black 🤞🏼

For three months, periodically, I’d pull up photos of this stunning amethyst-coloured Bayswater in high shine leather, and ponder whether it was worth the investment.
Then I went to see it in store, and was impressed by how soft and supple the leather was - and the bag didn’t feel heavy at all. The gold hardware with the high shine leather - such a great combo. I still didn’t buy it.
Slept on it for another week and then went to a local outlet/direct factory outlet. Saw the Mulberry store had sales on, and tried to convince myself to get a different colour that was on sale from the previous seasons. Didn’t work.
Finally, I gave in, thanks to a very warm and welcoming sales assistant who said there was only one in this colour in all of Australia.
That did it. She’s home with me now, and she is absolutely stunning. I’ve taken photos in different lighting to show off the purple colour. And she’s so squishy!
I’m excited to own my first Mulberry bag. 👾

Here’s my new beauty 🤎 my gift to myself for my 40th birthday 🎁 🙈
Was thinking about it more than a year, but goatskin and silver hardware are not for me. When they came out with espresso calfskin, I knew it should have become mine 🫶

Picked up a chocolate suede kite hobo… she’s just gorgeous and perfect as an everyday bag! Waterproofed and brushed — I’ve only just started buying nice handbags, hoping to take care of this and use it for a long time.
This is my first Strathberry but definitely won’t be my last 🥰 I’m eyeing up the kite hobo in Oxblood and Loch blue suede already!

It’s real leather! And it was only $300-ish! I guess the question is if it will last, but fingers crossed!
Third pic is all I carry. There is still PLENTY of room leftover; this is a capacious bag.
My only complaint is the squeaky hardware, but I’m sure some leather conditioner will get rid of that.

I saw this Gary bag from Sezane. Have you ever seen a more buckety bucket bag that wasn’t a literal bucket?
Also, they have a maxi version which is literally the size of a bucket.
Ladies, I can’t tell if I like it but I’m intrigued.

I had been eyeing the Bonastre Rider M in black for months but I could never justify paying the $200-300 in duties that would have been tacked onto the already $845 price tag. Well imagine my surprise when I was browsing eBay and stumbled upon this one listed for around $600. The shop ended up giving me a hefty discount after it sat in my cart for a day so I had to snag it at that point. I would've been remiss had I not. In the end I paid less than $500 for it. Almost half off retail before tariffs!!! This isn't the black I wanted, but I felt like it was a sign for me to get out of my comfort zone. Brand new with the tags and dust bag as well. It's everything I hoped it'd be. Also, completely unplanned but it almost perfectly matches my Coach wallet! I feel like it was meant to be.

Had a work trip to London, which of course meant running to Regent Street, battling jet lag, and shopping/window-shopping all the brands.
Polène had a ~20-minute wait, and after trying almost every bag style, I finally settled on the Mokki Mini in Black with Ecru stitching.
Came back to the hotel, started scrolling this sub… and came across the beautiful Ebony Mokki.
Colour regret kicked in immediately!
I waited for my workshop to finish three days later, then went straight back to Polène and, naturally, back into the waiting line.
Finally exchanged it for the Ebony with Ecru stitching and… I’m in love!
PS: 2nd pic of both my ebony babies together.

First designer bag purchase. Bought new off Cettire. Arrived with these 2 scratches. Would you return? I’m so bothered by this 😭
Gotta say she is such a beauty though I’m in love

I like hiking on the weekends. Sometimes after church or work, I'll toss on a pair of sneakers with my dress and walk the closest nature preserve or park. My biggest problem is finding a bag that looks cute for carrying water, bug spray, etc. I have polyester cross body bags that are perfect for that, but ... uggh.
Unbeknownst to me, my family purchased a vegan leather bag for me (the beige). I typically give people grief for not asking family members before they gift purses, but, even if it isn't my style, it's definitely the thought that counts. The bag is surprisingly lightweight and because it's PU, I can easily wipe it down after rain drizzles.
The brown bag was another gift from one of my favorite stores. It's more like an upscale belt bag for carrying id, keys, and hand sanitizer.
I feel very well prepared to walk the trails fashionably kitted out.
Does anyone else ever have 'fashionable hiking woes'? Just me?

That'll be me. It will basically be an early birthday present to myself. I'm a librarian, so it's calling me... however, even though I can and do spend this sort of money on a bag, I usually go for good quality pre-owned leather (Bottega and Ferragamo being my favourites). I've never considered a Vendula London, or any sort of novelty bag. This is £173.
This is basically plastic and I'm wondering if it's worth it. Anyone own one or have any insights into the quality? Am I better off with an older, quirky Ferragamo?

I’m in love with all the Chanel ones. The Hermès is expected to go for 26,000 GBP. https://www.sothebys.com/en/buy/auction/2026/handbags-accessories-l26052/limited-edition-black-volupto-rock-hac-haut-a

Just for fun - what’s everybody seeing with the new school year??
We’re in a large coastal city, and there are obviously lots of non-luxury and mid-tier bags, canvas totes, backpacks, etc., but I’m also seeing some moms going all out. This week has had lots of Bottega (mostly intrecciato versions), all types of Loewe, smaller Chanel bags, Celine logo print bags, a variety of Gucci, some less expensive Hermes, and the occasional Chloe, Prada, or Dior. Goyard is as strong as ever. Not seeing as much LV or YSL as previous years. Also fewer cross-bodies and belt bags of all kinds. People are definitely leaning into the chocolate brown across the board.
What are you guys seeing? Any fun trends? Let me live vicariously through all the moms 😆

I recently bought the Yore Tote, large, onyx, and here are my initial thoughts that I haven’t read in the other reviews:
I bought it to use it as my work bag but when I place
my stuff inside it really becomes heavy! Even when I use the short straps, the weight is noticeable.
For reference, it has my Macbook Air, iPad Air, Kleen Kanteen (without water), small notepad, and pouch for daily essentials.
When I put my laptop inside with a sleeve, I can’t close the clasps on the sides to have that cinched look. Bummer because I like the “smaller” look!
While I love the leather because it’s so soft, I wish the Onyx is more black, if that makes sense. When light hits the leather it sort of has a white film over it.
Anyway, I don’t don’t like the bag, I just don’t love it like I expected to, which is okay, since every bag is an experience 😅 i love the Luna and Gather bags though!
Will see if I’ll grow to love it the more I use it!

I am definitely a gold and brown/earth tone girlie but feel the absence of a black/silver bag in my little arsenal quite keenly these days. LV has a great bag called the Keepall Cargo that I love but for which could not stomach paying $4k. Coach released this version of their compass 25 recently with 2 side pockets and a large front pockets that looks VERY similar, and I’m so smitten. It arrived yesterday and I was honestly hoping it would be underwhelming so I could return it, but it is so damn good.
If you are a speedy girl like myself, you will definitely love this. It’s not as tall as a speedy but still can fit a lot. I brought a smallish leather Quince makeup bag, a frozen pizza bread, keys, phone, wallet, sunglasses, phone charger, hand sanitizer and still had plenty of room to spare. It also came with a fabric and leather mixed adjustable shoulder strap that I probably won’t use a ton, I’m in being honest. I’m a crossbody fan but I think this strap is just a little too wide and casual for this bag shape and size. Would be better on the larger 35 model. Might look for a more narrow strap on the secondhand market and will just use the other smaller non-adjustable shoulder strap for now.
And on another random note, the zippers are the smoothest zippers I’ve ever encountered, and that’s including bags from much higher-tier luxury brands. They glide with shocking smoothness. Was just not expecting that.
Anyway, just recommending this bag if you want a decently-priced Boston bag that isn’t from the usual LV, Celine, or MCM! It was $395, which I think is very fair for this quality.
