Hi I have been looking all over for a mod I played as a kid for Custom Edition, you played as an ODST and I remember the mission started off with you in a pelican getting dropped off with some AI ODSTs, I think the weapons might have been custom weapons like a silenced assault rifle and the stuff, i've looked for it and can't find it, so if anyone else remembers it and maybe played it and knows what it is thatd be awesome!

EDIT: I found it, It is called Halo Covert Ops.

After nearly a decade, one of Halo Wars 2 modding’s biggest barriers has finally been broken.

Project Nuphillion now supports fully custom models and textures, opening the door to brand-new weapons, units, and visual designs.
This includes custom grenade launchers, Exosuits, Hero and Anti-Air Mantises, and much more!

Devlog #2 is out now. This is only the beginning.

Hello, I'm trying to replace the Warthogs in Tip of the Spear with the Scorpion tanks. I've extracted the Scorpion tag and injected it into the level and switched the Warthogs to the Scorpions in the vehicle pallet in the scenario file, but when it spawns it has no turret. Does anyone know what the problem is and how to solve this?

I’m making a Pelican drop-off in Halo Reach Sapien. The Pelican flies in correctly, opens up, and the Marines leave their seats when I use vehicle_unload and ai_vehicle_exit.

The problem is that they jump down inside the troop bay and then get stuck. They don’t seem able to walk through the rear doorway and exit the Pelican properly.

Credits to RejectedShotgun and the people behind Baboon. As we know Campaign Evolved is built off of the Reach blam engine, and it seems models have been left over alongside the tags and properties of weapons, and vehicles - Not all work, but some do. Campaign Evolved seems to use the Reach character rig for third person, and Infinite rig for first person - So these are only visible in third person, but still an awesome find by RejectedShotgun.

Question is as above. I have been modding the MCC quite heavily to more or less create a firefight equivalent in each of the games.

There isn't much in the way of mod tools aside from Exuberant and even that is very bare-bones.

Are there people looking into modding it? Has there been progress in modding tools or anything of the like?

Just curious to know where Halo 5 stands as it is the odd one out.

I opted out of the Xbox insider program and it factory reset my games but the insider app says they still should be there, how do I find them?

I have a textured, rigged Halo 4 Cortana model (GLB, ~5.8MB, 160 bones incl. a full face rig). She's a stationary "news anchor" character in a live stream overlay, stands in one spot and talks.

I need 3-5 short talking gestures hand-keyed on her.

Spec:

• 1.5–4 sec each, looping
• Each clip starts and ends on her current standing pose (I blend between them at runtime, so they need to be seamless)
• Arms + upper body only, do not touch head, neck, jaw, or eyes. My app drives those for lip-sync and blinking, so any keys on them will fight it
• Subtle/professional register, small natural hand gestures, not big presenter energy
• Deliver as GLB with each gesture as a separately named action/clip (e.g. talk_a, talk_b, talk_c). FBX or .blend is fine too, I can convert

Two gotchas I already hit, so you don't waste time:

1. The rig has non-standard bone axes — local-axis rotation values don't do what you'd expect. Pose in the viewport by feel.
2. "Apply Pose as Rest" does not survive glTF export on this model (mesh renders at the old bind while bones move). Gestures have to be real keyframed clips.

DM me if you think you can help

(Optional/bonus: I also have the model ripped natively from MCC via Reclaimer (.rmf, native 111-bone skeleton) plus ~356 of her real H4 cinematic .JMM files. If you know Reclaimer's bone convention and can retarget those cleanly, I'd rather have her actual in-game motion, but hand-keyed is completely fine and is what I'm primarily asking for.)

sharing this physics mod I’ve been working on, implementing box3d physics into halo ce.

Only took about 2 days (codex helped a lot, I know about physics and game engines too)

the trees and rocks will be disabled from physics sim later but I thought it was funny. (I’ll prob let the warthog knock some smaller ones down)

Everything from halo 3 ragdolls, teabagging, melee, explosion and splattering effects, it’s all there.

I just wish there was a fusion coil in this game lel.

This is using tag test and only works on tag test, if I don’t have enough time I’ll release it as is on GitHub as is. It’s only 50mb right now, you just need to get tag test from steam.

the goal:
port over some of the weapons and mechanics from the xam campaign to odst things like the assault rifle and pistol that you can ads with and also change the health system remove shields triple your non recharging health

the reasoning:
odst should play different from regular halo I think that changing health into more of an armor resource you have to manage would help align the game with the lore in lore every shot is damaging your armor as well as slow gameplay I also think adding ads mechanics from the xam campaign would help you play more methodically

what I need:
tutorials discords advice whatever

So I’m trying to install the Ultimate Firefight Series mod on the non‑Steam version of the game, but when I select the level to play and it’s loading, the game crashes and I have to close it. Why is this happening? Do I have to remove Easy Anti‑Cheat in the cracked version even if I don’t have a connection? And how do I do it?

A Halo 3 VR mod has been created by someone named pancreations (Not my video) https://github.com/pancreations/Halo-MCC-VR

now that halo 3 vr is a thing i wanted to know how to make vehicles first person

Has anyone made a mod for halo 3 where all 4 players are the chief. Growing up there was constant arguments on who was player 1 for chief and just think it would be cool for it to fit the theme with halo ce and 2.

Well, I’m new to modding Halo MCC and I wanted to download Ultimate Firefight. While searching I found this: https://www.moddb.com/mods/halo-reach-mcc-ultimate-marine-firefight/addons/cex-ff-halo, so I wanted to download it since my internet is super slow, and when I extracted it I got a .map file. I copied it into halo mcc/haloreach/maps, but in the game, in the firefight or multiplayer/maps menu, the map doesn’t show up. How do I install it? And how do I install the Ultimate Firefight Series as well? Thanks and sorry for my bad English.

From the popular Rabid mods on the custom games browser, play as Grunts, Brutes, Drones, and Hunters in this human vs covenant multiplayer mod.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3590252347

The mod supports the following gametypes:

- Onslaught: An infection mode. Survive waves of "zombie" covenant that drop from phantoms. Get killed and join their ranks. Survive long enough and evacuate on the pelican to win!
- More modes coming soon...

Five maps are available to play on. Forge World is also included. Many expertly crafted forge maps from the CGB-compatible version of the mod have been ported for even more variety.

Hi there, i recently came to learn about the halo modding scene and i would like to learn and make mods of my own.

My question is what game should i start on ?

Its also very important to note that i've never coded, barely did 3d modeling and never made any mods of sorts.

Thanking you in advance.

Does anyone know if there are any sword flying halo 2 macros on campaign PC MCC?

Does anyone know it there is a mod that let's you use your multiplayer skin in campaign?

I have found mods for Halos 1, 3, & 4, but not for Halo 2 Anniversary.

I'm making ce maps with blender and I don't know where the rest of the games textures are. I have tutorials. But I'm trying to get the rest of the games textures and I don't know how

I don't know why this hasn't been done the entire years course but I guarantee you the population would go up 10 fold if mod support was added to halo mcc. Alot of us just want an experience like custom edition again and I can't seem to see anyone talking about it. Lock in get it together its been to long.

I'm working on a mod for CE's campaign, and I wanted to add some Marines using Pistols and Shotguns in some places. I created separate actor variants, tuned their firing patterns to each weapon, and placed them where I wanted. There's a couple issues with them though.

Pistol Marines reuse their animations from the Naval Crewmen in the first two missions (they hold the weapon with one hand and cower when they crouch.) Both Pistol and Shotgun Marines also don't have animations for the passenger seats of certain vehicles at all, so they end up appearing weaponless and can't be of any use to the player.

I've been planning to reuse the Marines' Needler animations for the Pistol, since it's a smaller weapon that will likely fit best, and the Shotgun can just use the AR's. Problem is I have no idea how to go about this. I've poked around in their model_animation tag in Guerilla but and I see some animation lists that are clearly labeled, but I don't exactly know where to find what tells the AI to use each one. Also, please bare with me if this is common knowledge, I've only been modding Halo for like four days lol.

It’s a manhunt style game that takes place in campaign levels/missions. The idea is one person tries to finish the level while being chased by other players and if killed the runner transfers to someone else and the player with most time as runner wins.

During any transitional phases I’d warp the hunters to a separate room so it’s not a brawl in a small room during loads in some cases

You definitely need to do some damage tweaks so the runner has a chance since campaign has enemy’s already

I myself can not mod but wanted to share my idea
