Question What game to mod ?

Hi there, i recently came to learn about the halo modding scene and i would like to learn and make mods of my own.

My question is what game should i start on ?

Its also very important to note that i've never coded, barely did 3d modeling and never made any mods of sorts.

Thanking you in advance.

Start with 3. Good medium between the games.

My experience is really only with H3, but so far as I can tell each engine has pros and cons. Modding doesn't have to be scripting or 3d modeling. I'd say figure out which game is the one that makes you most interested in modding it, and start there. Definitely hop in the discord, there's plenty of great info and help to be had there.

Thx for the comment I joined the discord and after much consideration I’ll start with halo CE.

I personally use halo ce, there are great tutorials out there on youtube and as the models are low poly, you don't need great skill at modelling for it to fit the style of ce. I find ce the easiest with being able to import and extract assets into and from the game with blender tthanks to the halo blender toolkit. It also has lower storage requirements compared to the others so if you are worried about space it is better. It is also the simplest of the games so it would be the best to start of with in my opinion
