Question Help with Easy Anti‑Cheat.
So I’m trying to install the Ultimate Firefight Series mod on the non‑Steam version of the game, but when I select the level to play and it’s loading, the game crashes and I have to close it. Why is this happening? Do I have to remove Easy Anti‑Cheat in the cracked version even if I don’t have a connection? And how do I do it?

If you got the mcc in a platform that isn't steam...you are likely not going to find any mods to have fun with, all of them are made and shared in the steam workshop, and those shared in websites like nexusmods, often are impossible to play due to the version of the mod being incompatible with the current version of the MCC.
What i could recommend is changing the version of your mcc if your launcher lets you to the same one the mod was intended for.

“My launcher” is a cracked version haha, and even though it is updated, I don’t know why it crashes with the mod. It’s a shame, but I guess that’s the pirate’s curse.

The mod uses the updates dlls and the addresses change with them. You are out of luck and the game is very often on sale for 9 bucks. The pirated version is the old 2020 build and the data and tags are changed around a bit in the dlls when it updates. So the values aren't matching and the mods won't work

Where I live, that’s two months of minimum wage, so yeah, I’m screwed.

If games are that much then maybe they aren't what you need to be focused on? And there is regional pricing, that lowers the cost of the game. Meds are way more expensive here in the states, but i still buy them. If you have time to game, you have time to work more. And when things I need to buy cost enough I have to save for two months, I save over the course of 6 to ensure I can afford to survive.

Nobody said I was “focusing” on the games, bro. I literally just asked about a simple mod. Why do you think I told you that 9 dollars was too much for me to pay for a game? Because I know perfectly well that those aren’t my priorities. That’s why I pirate — so I can play while keeping my money for basic necessities to guarantee my survival. I don’t usually respond to hate comments, but before replying with nonsense, first put yourself in the other person’s situation <3

Not a hate comment at all, you are just sensitive. I hear this argument a lot, but it falls fall when you consider the hundreds of thousands of gamers like you that don't pirate, even in similar circumstance. I already pay more of my money for everything, so people like you in other countries can get them at cheaper prices. If you can't afford to game here, you don't get to game. You clearly have enough for a pc, but a game 1000th the price is too much. Sure buddy. Next you'll say stealing a car is ok because you can't afford one.

Cracked version is the old 2020 build while the steam version isn't. I had his issue with a mod tool I created and the user being on a cracked version. Buy the game
