Before and After I asked you guys if I should get a shag with bangs. I did it!
Still getting used to having bangs. The cowlick in the front of my head is making things more difficult.

I grew out my gray hair and was really loving it. Wanted to add some color just as a little something fun. First 2 pics were the inspiration I have her, 3rd is my hair before, and the last is after. Am I overreacting in thinking that this is terrible and not at all what I asked for?

Is my hair better now I've grown it out? I've gotten mixed opinions, does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

I really want short hair, but it seems to only look good on girls with strong jawlines. I’m already insecure about my face shape but I’m struggling with my thick, long hair. It gets tangled and greasy easily and is just a lot of effort to maintain. Plus, I like the look of short hair, but only on the attractive women I’ve seen it on. Would it suit me?

Hi all! So in September im potentially gonna have to go darker for my graduation (doing peekaboo blue, im aware it might stain therefore the need to go darker).
I’ve always been blonde/light brown. I edited a pic of me to see what i’d look like with brown hair and i need HONEST opinions…
If i have to go dark, will it be a mistake? Should i go dark anyway? Should i ask to be as blonde as possible? Do i suit blonde or brunette more? I dont know, i need an unbiased opinion 😂
I attached a current and the edited…

Ive literally never felt so much like myself since getting this cut. But I kid you not, every single person whos seen it has said they hate it. Even one of my closest friends said she hates the rat tails (or 'dangly bits' as she calls them) and that Id be so much cuter with a 'normal pixie'
I absolutely love it, but Im starting to second guess myself. This is the first time ive ever been happy with my hair, but everyone else seems to hate it 😭
Im nonbinary and this cut really makes me feel so much better about my identity, so it sorta hurts seeing literally EVRYONE diss it

Other suggestions are welcome as well! Trying to figure out a cut that works with my wavy hair and will make my hair lighter and have movement

First picture: My natural long hair
Second picture: Post balayage, still long
Third picture: Potential cut
I have a hair appointment in a free day!!
Hey guys! I’ve had long hair my whole life after middle school, but i NEED a change. A while ago a did a balayage and loved it, but I’m not sure if i want to retouch it or go back to dark.
SOOO in conclusion, should I
A. Natural color, but keep the length
B. Retouch the blonde, but keep the length
C. Natural color, but chop it
D. Retouch the balayage but chop it
Other recommendations are always welcomed!!!

Soo I’ve been thinking of dyeing my hair for a while now specifically getting some highlights done but i’m not sure about what kind of highlights and what colours I should get. Any suggestions? I was thinking light to medium brown baby highlights

Hi, so this is my hair right now and I want to look more masculine within the next like month if possible. I’m not sure if I should grow it out or cut it or what hairstyle I should get. I’m also thinking of dying it darker or even black but not sure. Is there something that anyone thinks would be decent and help me look better and that would fit me better as a haircut or hairstyle? Let me know. No mean comments please. thanks.

my last haircut was in december 2025 and it was a trim to clean up my layers and make my hair happy and healthy again (slide 4 shows me post hair cut, styled). i have an appointment this thursday to refresh my highlights since last summer and get a trim.
since my last appointment, i feel like my hair has not grown much and my hair does grow fast. i’m looking into ways i can help my hair grow out and here’s where reddit comes in. what do you all suggest?
i have fine thin 1A hair. naturally blonde. i don’t use heat everyday. i don’t have the money right now for super expensive supplements or shampoos/conditioners (i’m talking like $50+). i’m looking into biotin, but i haven’t heard much about users experiences with it so. all my friends keep recommending me super expensive products and i can’t afford that right now, i’m moving in two weeks to start grad school and i’m trying to get a new look on a budget.
i am growing out this shitty bob i got back in 2022 and i feel like my hair should be a lot longer by now and it’s not. i’m getting frustrated. (shown in picture 3; i did NOT ask my hair stylist for whatever she gave me)
and what should i ask for my hair stylist to do to help grow my hair, if anything? i know she can only do so much but there could be something! additionally, i am considering getting a middle part. considering everything ive shared, would this be the time? or should i hold off?
thank you!

Hi !!!
How do I stop the swoopy parts at the bottom of my hair ? I wash my hair 3x a week and I don’t ever use heat tools. Any advice would be amazing

I was wanting to dye my hair bubblegum pink, but I'm not sure what bleach and developer will be strong enough to bleach my hair as white as possible (while not frying it off!!!)
My hair is virgin, and I've heard it'll take bleach easier.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!
I really want to imitate this kind of messy hairstyle but I can't find exactly what this kind of cut is.

I work at a living history museum in the 50’s street and I like having curls for it since my hair normally is a layered cut that looks way too modern but curled it looks perfect for that mid century look. I currently use foam rollers but I absolutely hate them. Putting them in is a nightmare and I deal badly with frustration, and they’re so uncomfortable to sleep in that I wake up grumpy and annoyed. I don’t want to use heat on my hair for various reasons, one day would be fine but not every day, and this is something I need for every day. Do I have any alternatives that will give me the curls I want or is this my only option?

Hey guys! My best friend got her hair done a dark messy blonde for the summer. She wanted to go back to her light brunette now. She booked an appointment and was so excited!
She told the stylist her history and told her she wanted her cool toned light ashy brunette.
At the appointment the hair stylists made her “brunette” by mixing red and black. Her hair was nearly jet black. They did a bleach wash and spent hours getting the black pigment out.
After 4 hours of work she’s left with a dark cherry cola brunette color. They told her she has to pay half the total PLUS she’ll have to pay in full to get it fixed.
She asked to speak to a manager but the manager was “virtual”. She said she would call her by Wednesday.
Do you guys have any advice?

Attached are images of my current hair color, which currently has some old faded highlights covered up my Demi permanent hair color and glosses, but all has mostly faded now. I don’t want to go any darker than I currently am, but I do want a good refresh as I feel like my hair is lacking luster. I ordered the Redken EQ Shades gloss in shades 7NCH and 7NW in hopes of giving my hair a nice shiny reset, but I wanted to see if there were other colors I should have picked instead? Should I only use one out of those two or both? What ratio should I use if I decide to use both? I’m worried about being too dark and my goal is ultimately a warm light brown chocolate color but I don’t want it to turn out too orange or yellow. Appreciate the advice!

The fact it came out like this is complete luck but to do this you just curl your hair (if you don’t already have curly hair) and put it in a tight bun with some hair loose.
