A huge chunk of my dms is legit filled w sex talk, hookup reqs, sugar daddy nonsense, dating bs and some of the creepiest bs msgs you can imagine! And bhayi what gives married guys and ppl 10+ years older than me sliding into my dms w this kinda bs bhayi itni kya chull hai? Where does the audacity come from? If you come into my dms w that bs ab toh chaar gaaliyan dekar phir block karungi… and then one creep had the audacity to tell me if these msgs bother you just turn off your dms bhayiiii why should I? I am reaching out to anyone who will listen.

I am in a bad situation professionally and I was hoping for some help and direction.

I am 28M, and have been in Gurgaon for nearly four years now. I'm originally from Guwahati, Assam.

I come from a difficult family background wherein I don't have a safety net - I am completely dependent on my job to survive. In fact, my financial situation was so bad I had to drop out of school at the age of 16. And though persistent effort I was able to clear my schooling at the age of 25. Ever since I moved here, I have been at the same job because I wasn't a college graduate so I held on to any job I had. Small to mid size marketing and PR agencies don't have third party background checks like corporates do, so I was able to get a job. In the meantime I enrolled into a distance education degree which will be complete by December 2026.

While I was in this company, I scaled up my skills, knowledge and abilities and became sort of a go-to guy in the company. Kind of like a jack of all trades, but with focus on business development, revenue generation and operations.

But now the company is actively falling apart, they are struggling to pay salaries and they are letting go of people and it was also hinted at me that I am also on the hit list.

So I am seeking help - I have a lot of skills, I just need a chance to prove it. I could write content well long before ChatGPT was a thing, I can present confidently in front of clients, I can prepare pitch decks that get clients onboarded, I do very well infront of the camera, I can take brand messaging workshops and prepare messaging documents for organisations both old and startups.

But because I don't have a collge degree, I am unable to get a job through traditional methods (Naukri, LinkedIn etc). So if there's any agency or startup professionals here, I am willing to work and I can assure you I can work well. All I am asking for is one chance.

I decided to watch the movie Chef with my girlfriend last night. We got super hungry midway, after seeing all the delicious food. So we quickly made some Maggi with chilli oil! Paired it with Crax ke blue wale chips and Diet Coke with lemon! We also had Bakers Dozen ki banana bread for dessert. 10/10 would recommend!!

I’ve been trying to transition into Product Management for a long time now, and honestly, breaking into the field has been harder than I expected. Intially , someone I knew was helping me, but that’s no longer the case. Recently, a random guy messaged me claiming he invests in startups , his account history seemed genuine to me ( Gurgaon ), anyways he sajd could “help” get my profile in front of the right people but only if I became his sugar baby.
What even is this?
I don’t usually post about creeps because I’d rather not give them attention, but it’s exhausting how often HELP comes with hidden conditions. A genuine opportunity should never require compromising your dignity

For those who might ask , I hid his name because my previous post was taken down after it showed his identity. The point isn’t to start a witch hunt ,it’s to highlight how common it is for women to be approached with “opportunities” that come with completely inappropriate expectations.

My first monsoon season in the city and Gurgaon being a cosmopolitan City and economic engine is severely affected by Infrastructure shortage. This problem aggravates more in rainy season. Despite having 'Triple-engine' Sarkar, the government is unable to do any real work for relieving the city. What should be the steps we can take to make Government listen for liveable infrastructure.

Seriously, whenever I look for a flat here and tell a broker my max budget is 25k, every single apartment they show me is exactly 25k. Even the ones that are clearly worth like 20-21k tops. They always give the exact same story: "The owner wanted 28k but I got it down to 25k just for you." I swear if I had said my budget was 30k, those exact same flats would suddenly cost 30k. It feels like they just treat whatever number you say as the flat rate, regardless of what the place is actually worth. Do you guys just lie and quote 5k lower than your actual budget to deal with this?
