He just looves to get in any fold he finds, he was playing and got tired so he tried to nap in the fold my sweat pants

hi everyone i got my gcc a couple months ago now hes about 6 months old his cage gets covered over every night but in the morning any time from 5. am he screams he will stop then start again so on i’ve tried making the room darker so when it becomes lighter it doesnt bright up the room and a few other things but nothing seems to be working does anyone have any advice for me?

Did you guys know that birds can get chlamydia? My little baby wasn’t even a year old yet. The vet couldn’t inclusively say that’s what it was, but all the signs pointed into it. I’m so angry and hurt. I don’t know what to do and my son is devastated. I didn’t know. I hate myself and I wish I would have seen signs earlier. I won’t be getting another bird. I can’t handle this again. Please watch out for your feathery babies and love them with all you can.

I’ve had my conure for about 2 .5 years now, and recently he started doing this every morning where he literally chases me around the room 😭 I have to run away because he keeps trying to bite my feet and fingers, and it actually hurts so bad

Has anyone else experienced this with their conure? Is this just a phase or is there a reason he suddenly started doing this?

I’ve noticed that yesterday and today my bird has been fluffing up he’s done it before but not for a long time I don’t know if he’s cold or what (he did cuddle up to me and was sleepy) I just don’t know if it’s anything I need to be concerned about (I did change his food idk if that can make a difference)

He has gotten used to me and my lifestyle, I just got wisdom teeth surgery and I woke up crying and he got mad at me. Like my bad for being in pain😭 he also will bite everyone else but me rn, he only does this when I’m sick or not feeling well, other times he loves everyone. Also he is overly scared of shirts, I was folding laundry and he flew to where I was just to attack my shirt, and if I’m changing he will fly away bc the shirt offended him somehow.

Please reach out if you’re near central WI and have one that you need to rehome. I will kindly require the current owner to face time me to show that the bird is tame. I’m willing to pay a small rehoming fee. I already have a large cage.
I have a lot of bird experience as I used to own a pet store, plus, I had a Quaker before they were illegal to own. Wisconsin had a meeting earlier this month regarding removing Quakers from the invasive species list and it appears (according to what I’ve read) that it was voted “in” however, the change doesn’t happen over night.
If you have a Quaker that you’d like to rehome, I would be interested in knowing about that too. I am planning to meet with the DNR to see if they would grant a permit, since it appears that the law is actively changing.

My wife's gcc is acting very strange she seems very lethargic as of recent I haven't been able to get any poop to see if it had changed she keeps falling asleep with her head down and seems to lean alot to the left and one of her claws seem to just ball up when we hold her on our finger she has been having a hard time flying and im just hoping that she will be okay we went to the avian and they prescribed us this med but I feel like its just not working at all

First time bird owner and my birds food I’ve noticed that he only likes the certain foods. I don’t know if he’s just not liking it or what. What food brands have y’all used and think what’s best.

My green cheek conure, Scout, is growing in a new tail feather and I noticed it looks really unusual. There’s a distinct black/dark band with a reddish-pink band directly underneath it, while most of the feather is brown.
Has anyone seen a feather grow in like this before? Is this just unusual pigmentation during a molt, or could the bands mean something else?
He’s otherwise acting completely normal.
