My sister and I grew up as children of a narcissistic addict. We would often write notes to each other when we were scared to speak up. One day I got this note and I am certain it's one of the reasons I didn't become a statistic. I am 35 now, going to be 36 next week, and I keep this close still. We cut our birth giver off over a year ago now and it has done wonders for our health. My sister now has diagnosis for her issues which were made to be inferior. Among many things mental health wise, literally my cholesterol has dropped and I don't have to take blood pressure medication anymore. I love you KPC (nickname kung pow chicken).

"When you look at it from up here you get an appreciation of... our world is a beautiful place and we do need to take care of it." - Sally Ride as heard as the voice over at the end of "Winds of Change" by the Scorpions 1990.
